BMW South Atlanta has somehow managed to go even lower on the scale of common sense and good business practices. This luxury vehicle dealership now charges a service fee when you use your credit card to pay the scale of common sense and good business practices. This luxury vehicle dealership now charges a service fee when you use your credit card to pay for repairs. This is complete madness. The costs to maintain a BMW is already insane, now you’re expected to have $700 cash in your pocket to cover the cost of repairs? This is 2024 not 1974, who has that kind of cash on them in Atlanta? I made a 1 pm appointment for 10/14/2023, on the morning of at 8:30 am I received a text message from Brendon, stating if I would like to come in earlier, please come. I arrive hours early only be there unt of at 8:30 am I received a text message from Brendon, stating if I would like to come in earlier, please come. I arrive hours early only be there until 3:41 pm. When I inquired Brendon told me he could only help one person at a time, I explained you texted me at 8:30 am to arrive early and I did, this is when he informed me customers that arrive on Saturdays for service are first come first service basis, why isn't this being informed when you call and make an appointment and most importantly, why give customers an appointment on Saturday if you are not going to adhere to it. Here is what I was told if you want an appointment make them for a weekday. Here is what I know if a customer is informed of the process than the expectation will be different. Lastly, I have 15,018 miles on my car, why would BMW require a vehicle check for a total of $164.95? Stephanie Brown More
BMW of South Atlanta provided very poor customer service and failed to provide me with the tire warrenty information I requested. I spoke with the Assistant Manager in the Service Department who said that t and failed to provide me with the tire warrenty information I requested. I spoke with the Assistant Manager in the Service Department who said that they did not have any tire warrenty information in writing. My tire was cited to "Need Immediate Attention" after only 10,000 miles and 11 months. I expressed my concern and requested a new tire under the warranty. I was told that there was nothing they could do but that I could file a claim that would probably get rejected. After doing some research I found the warrant information for my tire and it stated that the authorized dealer (BMW of South Atlanta) must submit the claim. After returning back to BMW with this new information I was told I also needed to bring the car back. The Assistant Manager should have told me about the claim process and advised me to leave the car opposed to brushing me off and telling me that there was nothing they could do if it is not road hazard. I had a situation w my oil servicing, they wanted more money and then said I cldnt do anything until the end of this year but my maintenance warranty is expired. They lied about my tire warranty and wont honor a new tire w deductible bc Justin nvr disclosed its only a year warranty. Justin is the problem and they honor his word over customers. This location is horrible, take the extra time and go to another location who has integrity. More
Don't believe the service advisors of BMW of South Atlanta. I took my car in for service and inquired about my map navigation not working properly. I was told that the cost would between $500-$800 t Atlanta. I took my car in for service and inquired about my map navigation not working properly. I was told that the cost would between $500-$800 to update the maps. I immediately replied, "That sounds stupid". He gave me the customer service number to call 800-831-1117. When he walked me to my car after the other services were performed, I told him I will call and fact check his response. The customer service agent asked for the last 9 numbers of the car's vin and immediately gave me the specifics on the car. My car was covered for map updates until 3/2024. The lesson with this dealer is fact check what they tell you. More
