2001 Toyota Avalon Used Car Purchase I met Tom S at the Baierl Used Car Center in Wexford when I noticed a used 1996 Buick Riviera for sale on Autotrader. I was contacted by Tom several t I met Tom S at the Baierl Used Car Center in Wexford when I noticed a used 1996 Buick Riviera for sale on Autotrader. I was contacted by Tom several times while driving to the dealership which I thought was excessive. Tom showed me the Buick and I told him it wasn't for me. I mentioned to Tom when leaving the dealership I was interested in a Toyota Avalon. He wrote my name and number down on his calendar and told me to keep checking their website. I was surprised to find a 2001 Toyota Avalon on Baierl's website about a month later. I had not been contacted by Tom about the Avalon. I called Tom and set up a time to test drive the car. Tom did not call me several times like he previously did nor did he pressure me with any sales tactics. I appreciated this. I was pleased with the car overall but the price was more than I wanted to spend. Baierl's price was $7500 I made an offer on the car of $7500 out the door. Tom consulted the sales manager and his response was $8000 out the door. I thought to myself: Baierl's price is high considering the unclean Carfax report (car had 3 previous owners including one accident), lack of maintenance report (i.e. timing belt), and no powertrain warranty. Tom then asked me if I would meet in the middle at $7750. I said I would think about it. As I was about to leave the dealership the sales manager came out to talk with me. He appreciated my offer but he said he would pass. I respected his position and mentioned there was no record of the timing belt being changed on the car. Tom showed me out and asked how much I had paid for a timing belt change on my last car (a '97 Avalon). I told him $600. I drove a few other cars during the next week or so. I decided at that point to test drive the same '01 Avalon again at Baierl. I called Tom to tell him I was on my way to Baierl in Wexford and I stated I would purchase the car if the price would be the $7750 he suggested during my last visit. Tom stated he would have to run it by the manager. I was under the impression the manager was already willing to accept that price. It turned out the manager was not willing to move from the $8000 price. Tom stated Baierl would put a full tank of gas in the car. I agreed to purchase the car at a price of $8000, but the actual price was $8059. I purchased the car on a Friday and on Monday evening while driving home on the parkway the check engine light and VSC lights came on. I had only driven the car about 150 miles. I called Tom and he gave me the number of the service advisor at the Baierl Used Car Center, Tom C. He allowed me to come in two days later and Baierl scanned the check engine code for free. Baierl only addressed the problem. Overall I feel Baierl could have and should have done more to work with me on the price of the car and to solve the root cause of the check engine light. I will not buy a car or use Baierl's services again. (I certfy this account has been recalled to the best of my knowledge.) More
Francis consistently provides great service. Everything is finished when promised, wait times are fair, and cost is reasonable. Great Dealership and Great Service We recently purchased a new XTS at the Baierl Cadillac in Wexford. This is the second car we bought from this facility. The first Cadillac we bought has been serviced there many times with absolutely the best service and quality work we have ever experienced. Tom Holderman was our sales rep and Mike Rossi the General Manager for our recent purchase of an XTS. They put together a great deal for us and treated us with respect and honesty. Everyone at this facility is extremely friendly and professional. I don't think you will find a better place anywhere to purchase a car or to have your car serviced. More

The dealership promised a $50 gift card for taking a test drive. The gift card is for thehotelcard.com and is worthless. 4. When i asked about the gift card, Joseph C. Feldkircher asked me "did you come in to buy a car or get a gift card?" Very insulting, since the dealship was making the offer. More
Our experience at Baierl was excellent. We were referred to Leo Parks. From the moment we entered the showroom we were treated as special guests. Attention to our needs was top priority. We were looking for to Leo Parks. From the moment we entered the showroom we were treated as special guests. Attention to our needs was top priority. We were looking for a car that will be used primarily by our 2 teenage children - therefore we were looking for something dependable, safe, and priced right. Leo was busy assisting another customer so we were introduced to KC. KC was very helpful in showing us the cars we were interested in seeing. I had done a lot of research on auto.com and Baierl.com - and had a list of cars to look at. KC helped us narrow the list down and also showed us several that were not on our list to consider. When Leo returned from assisting the other customers, KC sent us to see Leo. Thank you to KC for his gracious service. When we met Leo - we felt as though we had known him for years. Friendly, honest, and knowledgable - Leo gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He gave us time to talk as a family - no pressure, and he wanted to be sure that we were comfortable. He was a pleasure to work with. He treated our children with respect and gave excellent advice to them as young drivers. We did purchase a car - and the entire family is extremely happy. I was looking for a QUALTY used Cadillac for my dad. After an extensive internet search I found a 2002 Cadillac Deville with reasonably low miles. I called the used car department and spoke to Leo Parks. He was a well spoken gentleman that answered all my questions honestly, a refreshing change from some other dealerships. The price was reasonable so I decided to visit the dealership. I took my dad along as this is to be his car. My dad is older and presently needs the assistance of a walker and wheelchair to get around. He still is a good driver. When we arrived at the dealership they were very helpful and respectful of my dad. I am quite protective of my dad and I appreciated the respect that they genuinely extended to my dad. My dad and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the dealership, and the down to earth demeanor of all the employees we met. A gentleman in the maintenance area took time out from his day to answer my dad's questions. Overall my dad and I had an EXCELLENT experience and would highly recommend this dealership to one and all. Although it was an hours drive to the dealership it was a very worth while trip. I will definitely be a return customer. More
Brought in my $72k Caddy CTS-V for a state inspection, windshield washer fluid not working and steering wheel play. I asked if they had the windshield washer pump in stock as they are known to go bad all windshield washer fluid not working and steering wheel play. I asked if they had the windshield washer pump in stock as they are known to go bad all over the internet. Service writer says he doubts it and that he's never seen one go bad and it is probably something else. Picked my car up and they replaced the washer pump (shocker), inspected it and said they couldn't duplicate the steering issue. I had to get bent out of shape and show the mechanic and service writer what it was doing cause they were too inept. Mechanic acknowledges there is an issue tells me I bought a race car and they're quirky then proceeds to tell me to ask for a mechanic next time because the service writers don't know anything. I wish they would have at least inspected the steering column, intermediate shaft and the steering knuckle to confirm there are no issues but instead they said it is normal and sent me on my way. Next time I will take it to a different dealer. I guess this is what I get for buying a GM. More
