My Review of Baron Honda:
STAY AWAY FROM LAURA IN FINANCE. BAD NEWS. SHE IS DISHONEST AND WILL TRY TO SELL YOU THINGS YOU DO NOT NEED. THE SALESMAN ARE TOP NOTCH - JUST TELL THE SALESPERSON YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH HER AT ALL - THAT YOU WANT TO DO FINANCING THROUGH THEM. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT.

My Review of Baron Honda:
We recently had a terrible buying experience at this dealership. Our story is similar to previous negative reviews. They gave us a great price intially, but when you meet with the finance person, she will try to tack on thousands for an extended warranty, oil change service program, remote start and window etching. She will present a "Bi-Weekly" payment program to justify it. Don't be fooled.

My Review of Baron Honda:
My salesman was wonderful, the price I got was excellent (nobody could beat it) and when I had a problem I received two calls back from two managers. They have promised to make it right and I am confident that they will. Always beware of a business/financial manager at any dealership, but if you have decent people running the place, they can be kept in check. I would recommend my salesman to anyone.

My Review of Baron Honda:
Beware!!! Apparently things have changed at Baron Honda. The salesman was fine but I was totally lied to and deceived into paying $4,000 for a $800 extended warranty. Laura convinced me that if I made bi-weekly payments toward the car I could add the warranty on for about $600. She never mentioned that this would add an additional 5 car payments through the life of the loan. The sales contract showed an extra 5 payments on the loan & when I asked about it, she crossed the number out (doesn't that seem criminal). When I got the loan paperwork from the bank guess what? The loan has 5 more payments showing on it than I agreed to. I am actually paying about $2,400 not $600. So, I called to complain & she yelled for a while & then hung up. I guess she doesn't like to get caught lying. Do you want to deal with that???

My Review of Baron Honda:
In 1989, bought a car there: settled on a price, salesman came out and said (the old trick) that the boss wants $200. more. I was young and dumb and accepted it.
1994 went to Baron for a new car, agreed on a price, shook hands, came back next day with check to close the deal. They said price was too low, no deal.
So, I went to Saturn for a very nice no-haggle experience for 13 years and two cars. Saturn then leaves my area of Long Island. Went back to Baron Honda to check price on 1997 Civic: Salesman says it's the car of the year; can't go less than 21,000. I went Babylon Honda first, and then to Nardy Honda and bought it there for 17,200; Babylon Honda called back but after I made the deal and offered to sell it for 16,800.
Those are the facts. Same car...Baron 21,000. Nardy 17,200. Babylon 16,800.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: Yes

My Review of Baron Honda:
My sales experience was exemplary with no pressure. In fact the salesman handed me the keys and said "go for a drive". No one sitting in the back seat speiling at us. The price was fair and reasonable,
in fact much lower than Edmunds indicated it should be in New York.
The samelman himself gave me a price, and when I picked up the van I spoke to a finance manager, but again he presented several warranties, but no pressure or ridiculous stories.
The service people are just super. No nonsense. No trying to sell
un-needed service. Fair prices, with work delivered on time.
What more could you ask for? The dealer is in business to make a reasonable profit after all. My previous experience with a European
dealer was absolutely terrible. Constant lies and deception.
THIS DEALER IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!
