Basil Ford is by far the best experience I have ever had in my purchase of a new car! I have purchased about 20 cars over my life and this dealer delivered on everything they told me that they would do! Wow in my purchase of a new car! Other dealers in this area left me hanging in the customer wait area, only to come in and tell me that my credit application was missing information, (they collected all of that information)and we waited, finally my wife says she had enough, mind you we has a scheduled appointment, but 40 minutes late is unacceptable. Basil Ford's appointment was right on time and all the sales people helped out! Fantastic! I know now that future cars will be purchased here. Thanks, Dave More
This is the second F-150 truck my husband and I have purchased from Mike Kelly at this dealership. After several bad experiences at different dealerships and salesman, I was skeptical at first but gr purchased from Mike Kelly at this dealership. After several bad experiences at different dealerships and salesman, I was skeptical at first but greatly surprised at the service provided by Mike. He listens, understands the needs and restrictions of the buyer and works very hard to get you the best deal possible. He treats you with respect and does not play any of the typical cliche car salesman tricks. We will never deal with another salesman again. My husband and I highly recommend Mike. I got my Ford Escape from Basil Ford and I totally love it. My salesman, Mike Kelly, knew exactly what I wanted and was able to it for me. I was not pushed into anything I wasn't able to afford. I went to Basil Ford to find a new F150. I was taken care of by Chuck Basil every step of the way from letting me test drive a number of trucks to getting a great presentation on the custom features availabl of by Chuck Basil every step of the way from letting me test drive a number of trucks to getting a great presentation on the custom features available to me and the costs up front (rubber mats, tonneau cover, step up bars, etc.). The managers were friendly and we had an easy time agreeing on a price. I would recommend this dealership for cars and service. More
I leased a 2012 Ford Escape in January 2012 from Basil Ford. When I arrived, I was not haggled or pressured to walk out with anything as I was only looking. Since at the time I already had a vehicle, I was open to negotiations. Chuck walked me through the process and patiently answered each of my questions. Since I had done my homework, I knew what other deals were out there, which the salesman was open to listening and walked me through the trade-in procedure. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my entire visit that it was no question I knew that I would go with Basil Ford. They treated me with respect and everyone involved in the process of my lease was friendly and attentive to my needs. I'm very pleased with my SUV and have had no issues in scheduling service. I would definitely recommend this dealer if you want to be treated as a person rather than a number! More

Frank made sure he had a car at the facility that I was interested in, offered to have Basil Ford drive it to my workplace and save me the trip so I could see it. Once I saw it, he allowed me to test drive the car for 2 days so I could confirm I was interested in buying it. While at the facility, I was greeted each time I visited by friendly staff. Chuck Basil was very helpful in answering any quetions I had, made sure I understood all of the paperwork, terms of the deal, and even made sure I knew how to use each feature the Ford fusion had to offer. Based on my experience with Basil Ford, I would reccomend anyone to do business with this dealership! More
This is the worse dealer I ever walked out on. They thought I was stupid. They played the old school sales with me. How my trade was worth nothing but a roll over, tried to get a huge down payment beca thought I was stupid. They played the old school sales with me. Kept pushing the auction sales on my car when I know they are rental car auctions, and not the facts. Even so; When you buy a high end car you expect them to eat a little because the profits are high. After all the rudeness when Mike seen I was not buying it; I offered my own auction price on their new car of half sticker. Mike said,"BYE BYE BYE". The first thing this monkey said that was correct and made sense. I am a educated buyer. I know what the dealer does not want the public to know. I made my deal very clear before I went in their monkey house. They deceive to get you in. Then degrade your trade. Then present you with an offer that will put you on the floor laughing. This place is a joke and you will waste your time if you go here or to any Basil dealership. I know from experience; Basil is old time scam. Buyer beware!!!! Written By Wolff.... More
I HAVE GIVEN BASIL FORD THE ABOVE RATING BASED ON LIES AND DECEPTION. AFTER THE HAGGLING ABOUT DOWN PAYMENT, TRADE VALUE AND MONTHLY PAYMENT 2 HOURS LATER I HAD AN APPROVAL AND AN ARRANGEMENT TO PICKUP TH AND DECEPTION. AFTER THE HAGGLING ABOUT DOWN PAYMENT, TRADE VALUE AND MONTHLY PAYMENT 2 HOURS LATER I HAD AN APPROVAL AND AN ARRANGEMENT TO PICKUP THE VEHICLE 2 DAYS LATER. 24 HOURS LATER, SCOTT CALLS MY PHONE AND LEAVES A MESSAGE THAT I WAS ONCE AGAIN APPROVED FOR THE AUTO LOAN??? THE NEXT DAY I WENT IN TO SWAP VEHICLES AND SIGN THE PAPERWORK...AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER....UP JUMPED THE DEVIL....YOU NEED TO SEE THE CREDIT MANAGER..."I`M SORRY BUT I HAD TO RUN THE APPROVAL AGAIN AND IT WAS DECLINED!!!! YOU`VE CHANGED MY INSURANCE TO THE NEW VEHICLE AND RAN THE DMV PAPERWORK AND NOW YOU PULL THIS CRAP!!!" BEFORE I COULD GET THEM TO GET THE TRUCK APPROVED I HAD TO AGREE TO A HIGHER MONTHLY PAYMENT AND A HIGHER DOWN PAYMENT...I GOT THE TRUCK OFF THEIR LOT SOME 3 HOURS LATER!!! I HAD 2 DAYS TO BRING BACK SOME ADDITIONAL PAPERWORK TO VERIFY THAT I WAS " OFFICIALLY RETIRED FROM MY JOB AND NOT A DRUG DEALER"!!!! WHILE I WAS THERE, I POINTED OUT TO THEM THAT THEIR"SO-CALLED" DETAIL OF THE VEHICLE WAS SOMEWHAT SUSPECT. I HAVE MADE UP MY MIND THAT AFTER THEY MAKE A NECESSARY REPAIR NEXT WEEK, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR ANY SERVICE. NOR WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE I KNOW TO THEIR DEALERSHIP FOR ANY REASON!!! More

I was promised they would so call make it up for the mistake with extra’s if I selected a new model- I received a free oil change for the inconvenience which all buyers receive and a $300 dollar cargo option which was on the new model I selected. At the time of pick up the credit mgr. stated it was a common issue 2x- 3x a month..They sold the vehicle to another customer for more $$$..And then I find out from a neighbor- a co worker experienced the same issue..This is an everyday problem at this dealership! MOVE ON! More
