2nd No Stress Purchase I almost waited too late to take advantage of the "employee cost" sale which ended New Year's Day. Sent an Email midday on Friday the 29th to Joe Tilt I almost waited too late to take advantage of the "employee cost" sale which ended New Year's Day. Sent an Email midday on Friday the 29th to Joe Tilton, the salesman who found and sold us our 2014 Tahoe and with whom we were very pleased. In less than an hour he replied to my Email and with just a few more Emails narrowed down our preferred specs on a truck. Then in less than 24 hours after my first Email Joe found the truck wanted in a neighboring state. Later on same day we essentially finalized the purchase. Everything was done with Email and phone conversations. After New Year's we simply went in to Bellamy Strickland to take care of necessary paperwork. . To cut to the chase, I don't like to be jerked around by car salesmen when visiting dealerships and who are not serious until days later about selling you a vehicle at a fair price. Joe is not that kind of salesman. We purchased a 2017 LTZ Silverado from Bellamy Strickland with which we are very pleased. Also very please with the accessories added by Bellamy Strickland , their service and their auto collision repair which we recently used with the Tahoe. They just seem to be good people. I explain my situation thoroughly she provided options that could work for me I told her I live a ways away from you guys so I would like to be confident coming in so we don't waste my time. The rep sent me the credit app via email I went ahead and Completed the app. I spoke to her again confirming that based on what we've been discussing and my credit app, does it makes sense for me to come in. She assured me "yes sir I spoke to the finance manager and he thinks he can get it done". I said are you sure I really don't want to come there to be disappointed and waste my time she "replied yes sir the finance manager said it can work". I got there spoke to the manager Richard who put me with the sales rep Bryan. We sat down and before we could even get into the details just looking at the numbers he said he couldn't work the way that I wanted it to work my payments would basically be astronomical. Totally different from the conversation over the phone before coming in.This is my second attempt to do business with this dealership the first time I was a cosigner and it was the same situation they tell you one thing on the phone but when u get there it is a totally different situation it's like they tell you whatever you need to hear to come in even if it's a big fat lie. I tried very hard not to take my frustration out on brian because he seems to be really a nice guy but I was upset because go through this mess again. I wasted my time and my gas to come in to hear this foolishness. I would not recommend this dealership because if it's not a straightforward easy sale they don't try hard to earn your business I would not recommend this dealership because if it's not a straightforward easy sale they don't try hard to earn your business and are Very un-apologetic about it and the customer service reps are not truthful.
