I went in to have my 10 year old car fixed in December. I knew that it was having a lot of engine problems, but was hoping I could get an inexpensive fix. (Two other mechanics had said that the fix might I knew that it was having a lot of engine problems, but was hoping I could get an inexpensive fix. So while walking around, trying to figure out what to do, we met Brian Isch and started to talk about new cars. Brian is the owner of a Cruze, so was extremely familiar with the details on this car. We talked for a long time and decided, without any pressure, to buy a new Cruze. I have now been driving it for over 3 months. I am getting 32 mph and my Cruze has had its free oil change with check up. I am totally delighted with my Cruze and and would recommend the Cruze and Berger to anyone looking for great service and a great car. I recently had the opportunity of visiting Berger Chevolet in Grand Rapids and I am pleased to report that I had a pleasant experience. The sales person, Jeremy Hosey, was more than willing to show m Chevolet in Grand Rapids and I am pleased to report that I had a pleasant experience. The sales person, Jeremy Hosey, was more than willing to show me all the SUVs available in my suggested price range, as well as, other vehicles I requested. Jeremy was patient, kind, informative, and helpful when faced with my many questions and my indeciveness. He worked cooperatively with the sales manager,Randy Baxter, whom was just as excellent, to find a vehicle suitable for my needs. Mr. Baxter also went above and beyond to assure that I was getting the best financing available by working with the finance clerk, Brett Johnson. Together, they were able to find a lower rate than offered by my credit union. I never once felt pressured to purchase or commit. Overall, the experience was wonderful. After being jerked around by my "regular" dealership (Underwood in Clinton, Michigan..Charlie the sales manager is a jerk!!) and told 3 hours before the early lease turn in was to expire, tha dealership (Underwood in Clinton, Michigan..Charlie the sales manager is a jerk!!) and told 3 hours before the early lease turn in was to expire, that they didn't have time to call and that a deal takes more than a few hours (I had contacted him the Friday before so he actually had 2 days, not a few hours), I started calling dealers to see if anyone could help me get the car I was looking for. Berger had one of the cars that I was looking for and wanted my regular dealer to transfer down. Since I lived 2 hours from Berger Chevrolet, there was no way I would have been able to get there by the time they closed. I called Berger to see if it was still available and my saleperson, Rod Collins, couldn't have been any better! I was probably a little crabby when he first got on the line..Not only was I ticked off for getting jerked around by the other dealer but frantic that I wasn't going to be able to turn my lease in early because the offer was expiring at COB. Rod said he was going to try and improve my otherwise miserable day and that he did! Rod called back when he said he would, kept me informed of what was happening and got the deal thru that night! If that wasn't enough to restore my faith in GM and it's dealers, he actually delivered the car to me the next day! My husband and I were impressed that he would actually take that long drive himself to deliver the new car and pick up my old vehicle to turn in. The new car was bright and shiny and had a tank full of gas! He explained the features of the car and also explained the paperwork as we worked thru it. We were done in probably 20 minutes! I've never gotten out of a dealer in 20 minutes when purhcasing a new vehicle! It was fabulous!! If you are looking for a new vehicle, call Rod Collins!
