PICKED UP A 2024 HONDA PILOT ON 11/31/23. HAD A TOWING PACKAGE INSTALLED. THE DEALERSHIP KNOWINGLY LEFT OUT THE PART THAT MADE THE HANDS- FREE TAILGATE INOPERABLE. LEFT OVER 3 VOICE MAILS BEF HAD A TOWING PACKAGE INSTALLED. THE DEALERSHIP KNOWINGLY LEFT OUT THE PART THAT MADE THE HANDS- FREE TAILGATE INOPERABLE. LEFT OVER 3 VOICE MAILS BEFORE ANY ONE RESPONDED. GOT A CALL BACK FROM TONY ALCALA AND HE ADMITTED THE HE DID NOT ORDER THAT PART NEEDED. I LIVE 3 HOURS FROM THE BETTEN BAKER HONDA. SO WE AGREED TO HAVE THE CAR SERVICED AT WILLAMS HONDA IN TRAVERSE CITY. HEARD NOTHING FROM WILLIAMS I CALLED THEM ON 11/14/23 AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT TONY SAID HE WOULD ORDER THE PART AND SEND TO WILLIAMS. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. SPOKE TO WILLIAMS HONDA ON 11/14/23,THEY AGREED TO ORDER THE PART. MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE IT INSTALLED ON 11/30/23 . TONY ALSO SAID THAT HE WOULD SEND ME SPLASH GUARDS FOR MY TROUBLE, THIS HAS HAPPENED.I LEFT A MESAGE WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER JOSEPH GRIMM TODAY, HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. VERY UPSET WITH THE DISHONESTY AND DELAYS. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE TITLE AND REGISTRATION FOR THE VEHICLE. TOMORROW WILL BE EXACTLY 4 WEEKS SINCE THE PURCHASE. THIS TRANSACTION WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND VERY DISHONEST. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE. More
I found a pickup exactly like I wanted that I've been searching for weeks online for at this place but I live 180 miles away. I called to make an appointment for the next day with a salesman named Curri searching for weeks online for at this place but I live 180 miles away. I called to make an appointment for the next day with a salesman named Currie and wanted to express my concerns that it wouldn't be sold while I'm making the 3 hour drive there. He told me that he was putting the keys in his office so no one could do anything with it and it would be there for me when I got there the next morning. I left my house at 6 am to make the drive there. About half way, Currie calls me and tells me that he had some leads that he had to tend to a half hour before my appointment. I asked him, they aren't coming to look at the pickup I'm coming for are they and he replied that they were not. Upon my arrival, I was told by Jeff, the sales manager that Currie had went home and someone was already there looking at the pickup that I came for. I reiterated that Currie promised me that this issue wouldn't happen to me. Jeff gave all kinds of excuses like the internet sales guy booked an appointment with the other people at 7pm the day before and I had to tell him that I booked my appointment around noon before they did. Also he said all his guys weren't trained on the new system they have, blah blah blah. He didn't seem to care what Currie had promised me or the fact that I was out about 400 miles round trip, a lost day of work and extra mileage on my truck when I'm trying to keep the miles low and trade it in. Long story short, the other people bought the truck out from under me and all Jeff offered me was some gas without so much as an apology. Evidently Currie knew that he screwed up and wanted to avoid conflict so he went home before I arrived. I think everyone needs to know about the dishonesty and lack of compassion from this dealership. More
4 years of complaining about a noise in a new car and they finally verify it but tell me it is now out of warranty. There was even a service bulletin I was initially told didn't apply, but they later sa they finally verify it but tell me it is now out of warranty. They wanted $280 more to apply the service bulletin since it is now out of warranty. No morals, no ethics. More

After the great experience we had when our Daughter purchased her 2012 CRV 7 years ago here(which she is still Driving!), It was a no brainer to head back to Betten Baker Honda. And again, another great experience to get my wife and I into her 2019 Certified Pre-Owned Pilot in 1 day! Tom Schwab, Certified Sales Manager, was excellent to work with. From test drives, through the paper work, even doing the Interior/Exterior protection while we grabbed a bite, his diligence and commitment to taking care of us was truly appreciated. Additionally, Charlie Nicosia, Finance manager, rocked out some great financing faster than I could believe. Finally, Jeff Baker, Sales manager even stopped by to chat. After that, I understood why this process was as smooth as it was. The philosophy was simple, straight-forward, and made perfect sense to us. These guys were on point and made this the least stressful automotive experience we've ever had. My only downside was not taking my own picture to put with this, but trust me, this vehicle is amazing! More
