My Review Of Bob Pion Buick GMC:

Highly recommended !! I purchased a GMC with help from Tom Pion and Rob Pion. Tom worked with me for weeks until we found exactly the vehicle I was looking for.. I did a lot a research coming in and know they gave me an extremely competitive rate and price for the car. I live in Boston and came to these guys out of reputation and would make the trip back out in a heartbeat (despite the fact there are several dealerships on between!!) if I find myself in the market for another vehicle.
From the top on down the folks at Bob Pion were professional and never once gave me the hard sell on a car I was uncomfortable buying. I couldn't give Bob Pion GMC any higher a recommendation!

My Review Of Bob Pion Buick GMC:

I have never had a better buying experience! I walked in not knowing what to expect but I was blown away. Its a family run shop and it makes a great atmosphere. Sterling was friendly and very informative, Tom helped get me an unbelievable financing package, and rob had my car ready to go as soon as I finished my paperwork. This is why i would recommend anyone to this dealership. I live 2.5 hours away and wouldn't think for a second about buying a car from a different dealership. I sent my best friend out there to look at a car and he bought one as well. I cannot say enough good things about Pion auto, and I look forward to doing more business with them in the future. Thank you again guys i could not be happier.

My Review Of Bob Pion Buick GMC:

We experienced many things dealing with this dealership. In the beginning the communication between their salesperson and me was great. When we arrived to finalize the deal with our trade, there were several issues with the vehicle we were going to buy. We agreed on the parts replacements and repairs and signed all the paperwork with the deal to be finished the following week- the truck we bought needed to be registered in CT and I had to meet their driver at the Enfield DMV. Here's where things started to go wrong.

The parts and work that needed to be completed were not done at the time of delivery and our sales person failed to communicate that with me before delivery. As you can guess, I was shocked and not very happy about this. After a call to the sales manager and a little back and forth with him and our salesperson, matters were resolved, but I would be taking the vehicle home only to have to return once the parts came in. So, after about a 1/2 hour or so of dealing with this, their driver put our plates on the truck and gave me the keys and paperwork. Going through the paperwork before I left, I noticed a few key docs were not included in the package- the parts order list and the signed agreement highlighting the repairs agreed upon. To add insult to injury, once I was ready to take our truck home the truck was given to me with nearly an empty tank of gas. So here I am pissed off, tired after a long day of work and dealing with this DMV transaction and the frustration of not getting what I thought I would be getting, and now I had to put $100 into the freaking gas tank!!!

Fast forward to three weeks later and several calls and emails between the salesperson and me and the sales manager and then Tom Pion, the parts were ready to be replaced. Long story short, our salesperson was let go and Tom handled our repairs and all was fixed to our satisfaction and the gas tank was filled before the truck was returned to us. In the end, we did get a great truck at a fair price even though communication broke down at times and our salesperson we no longer working there. It was a hassle of sorts, but it did all work out. Would I ever go through this again? NO! Am I glad it's all over? YES! I'm just not sure if I would recommend any friends or family to visit the dealership in the near future. Hopefully most of the fault of what broke down our experience was caused by our salesperson. If not, there are more issues at play here.

Jeff, I apologize for your frustations. We take 100% responsiblity for these issues but I believe next time you purchase a vehicle you should purchase New. Your expectations were to buy a NEW vehicle at a Used vehicle price. A used vehicle is going to have minor defects or scratches a brand new Avalanche which is $15,000+ more would have none of these issues.

i bought a used truck there and they supposedly went through the truck and fixed items but there are still leaves stuffed in the radiator. things did not function properly and i have hadf the truck for 2 weeks and its been back twice for repairs already they say its going to be done by a certain time but it takes 2-3 days more than they say. they also treat the customers poorly at the service desk yelling and dishing out attitude saying they are right and we are wrong

I'm sorry for your frustrations and would be more then happy to have you sit down and discuss your concerns but as of right now we have no idea who you are. Secondly I'd like to say when you buy a used vehicle you have to remember it is a used vehicle and used vehicles do usually have some minor issues thus why they are thousands of dollars less then a brand new truck. Regarding the leaves in the radiator, our reconditioners try to do the best they can but again it is not a new truck and will not be perfect. You say you have been back twice for repairs, if so did you have to pay either time when you were here? Im sorry for your inconvenience, we tried to rectify the problem and are not perfect but strive to be the best we can be. Can you be more specific about the yelling and dishing out attitude? We do not tolerate that kind of behavior and have had very little if any complaints. I hope this addresses all of your concerns and I look forward to hearing from you.

I am NOT saying that's all the people there are not friendly the sales team was very helpful to me they had great attitude it was wonderful to deal with them. However i am not happy the service department that's a hole nother story

My Review Of Bob Pion Buick GMC:

In two words...Holy Cow!!! I have dealt with a few dealerships in my 30 some years as a licensed driver, but never have I had such a wonderful experience as I did at Bob Pion Buick/GMC. My wife had taken her Buick there some time ago for repairs. We didn't buy it there, but they were very helpful and were able to correct an on-going problem she was having, one that another place could not. I have ordered parts there before. Yes they had to order them, but they were there when they opened the next day.
Now to my most recent experience. I had a truck that was going on ten years old and the repair costs were getting to be almost half of the value. I began my research and started looking at various vehicles and places. While looking on-line I found a real eye catcher. Within hours after emailing Bob Pion Buick/GMC I was contacted by Lindsay, the internet sales mgr. She was without a doubt very friendly and courteous. I made an appt. to go in and look at the truck they had listed. When I arrived, first impression…a very clean and presentable dealership. Employees looked friendly and happy to be there. Lindsay introduced me to Carl, one of their salesmen. Carl was very friendly and very knowledgeable and NOT at all high pressure. He showed me the truck and gave me time to look it over. Once I decided it was something I would like to try…away we went. But wait…before we even drove it out of the showroom Carl took me around and introduced me to several people in the dealership, right up to the owner, Mr. Pion himself. What a sincere and friendly man. A man who shows that he cares about his dealership, his employees and most importantly his customers.
During the test drive Carl was very informative yet didn’t just talk about the dealership and the car. We got into just a good friendly conversation. I felt like I was taking a ride with a friend and not a guy just trying to sell me a car. Once we got back I mentioned that I liked it, but wanted to bring my wife in to look at. Without a hitch Carl threw the plate back on it and told me to take it, drive it, enjoy it, and go show your wife. An hour later I was back with my decision. I’LL TAKE IT!
I was ready to finance through my credit union, one I had been doing business with for over 11 years. I ended up financing through the dealership. They were able to give me a much better rate. The whole paperwork process was quick and painless.
The day I went to pick up my new truck, Carl again went over the whole truck and all it’s functions. He helped me set up the OnStar and how to use the Bluetooth function. Oh and did I mention he came in on his day off to do this. The truck was VERY shiny and clean.
The service dept. had done a great job at prepping the truck for me. I actually took it back a week later for the Simonize treatment. I made the appt. for 8am and within a few hours I was getting a call that it was done. Again, a great job! The dealership has been in touch with me to make sure all is going well. They care about their customers and make sure they’re happy. Not just…how many cars can I sell, sell the car and then forget about you.
Yes this is a lengthy review and I could go on. But hopefully if anyone reads this they will have a good picture of what to expect when you go to Bob Pion Buick/GMC. From start to finish you will not be disappointed. You will be well taken care of and respected.

My Review Of Bob Pion Buick GMC:

I bought a Ram truck from Bertera dodge in westfield 4 months ago. this dealership was hurendous. I can't begin to tell you how badly they treated me as a customer spending $25,000 cash on a vehicle. They promised to do things with the truck and never kept thier word. The sales manager told me if I didn't like it, tough. I was very unhappy with my truck and mostly the treatment I recieved. I was looking on line and saw a truck and inquired about it. Jim Chouinard called me and told me to come down to see what he can do. I was hesitant to go after what I had just been through but I went. I'm so glad I did. I believe I got a great deal on the truck of my dreams. Not only did I get my truck I was treated with respect as a customer and they were so helpful. I felt what I wanted mattered and was taken seriously. What they promised they kept thier word. I didn't have to remind them, in fact they reminded me of things I had forgotten. If you are afraid of buying a vehicle and afraid of getting taken avantage of, I would highly recomend going to Bob Pion and ask for Jim Chouinard. To me he is the most honest salesmen I've ever delt with. Ryan Brewer worked for me to obtain financing to meet my needs. Lindsay Lapan was very proffessional with the paperwork. Thank you Bob Pion staff for my truck.
