In order to get the exact specs I wanted for my 2011 Equinox, I was willing to wait 9 weeks, and McDermott ordered my car for me. All of my interactions, from my sales representative (Mike B), to sales manager (Kevin) to finance (Joe) were positive. Mike returned phone calls and emails very quickly. Do some research, be an educated buyer, and know what you want!! I am now driving a beautiful new Equinox, and feel I got a great price and overall great experience. More

I was not surprised to see the negative reviews for McDermott Dealership. This group employs and stands by an unethical group of people. No integrity at all here- avoid going to McDermotts - avoid the dissapointment- avoid surrounding yourself with people who dont have respect for you or your business. More

Ladies! Stay away from Mcdermott Chevrolet! I am a Ladies! Stay away from Mcdermott Chevrolet! I am a single Mom who purchased a pre-owned 2004 car from McDermott Chevrolet in June of 2006. The Sale Ladies! Stay away from Mcdermott Chevrolet! I am a single Mom who purchased a pre-owned 2004 car from McDermott Chevrolet in June of 2006. The Sales guy, Mike, sold it to me with a $1,700.00 extended warranty. Mike had the nerve to ask me on a date after delivery. In May of 2008, The Front axle broke in half & the ball joints fell off the front wheels as I was driving at 15mph down a crowded city street. When I called the warranty company, I learned that they had closed up. When I called the dealership to talk to Mike, he tried to sell me the new model of the same car I bought that was falling apart! Months later, the radio started draining the battery, that too was replaced. Then, in 2009, the Hub Assembly went, that was replaced. Then, in December of 2009, the wheels started rotting out & the tires wouldn't hold air. The service manager (Lou) said that the car was off lease before I bought it, and the factory wheels were stolen while on lease, and they let the leasee put after market wheels on the car. The service manager told me that he put in no claims for the warranty and to cash it out to buy new wheels! When I called the warranty company that had bought the "bad" warranty, I was told the policy was only worth $225.00 A far cry from what the service manager told me it was worth! I called the F&I guy (Kevin) at McDermott, and he won’t get back to me. Stay away from McDermott Chevrolet! More
