My Review of Boch Honda:
I found your ads misleading. I found their sales tactics deceptive. High pressure managers that only wanted to make a deal and finance with the company. Would not accept my credit unions check. I should have listened to my friends and stayed away from BOCH. Never again!

My Review of Boch Honda:
Don't waste your time! Tried to buy my Odyssey there two years ago and they're still playing the same game - lying to you on the phone and then changing all the prices when you get there. Two yrs ago they beat everyones price on the phone and then lied when I got there - tried to change everything. Every dealer warned me about them and I still fell for it. Thought I'd give them a second chance this time. Oops - my bad! They lied again! Even made a manager confirm the price and they outright changed it by $2,100 when we got there! Mysteriously nobody could find record of any conversations or emails. Then, to top it off - they wont even honor their advertised price on "every" in stock Accord - wanted me to pay thousands more. Stay away! They will say anything to get you in their showroom and then waste your time for hours when you get there. Ran into two other people equally duped leaving. I don't know how these guys stay in business.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I have a 1998 Honda Civic and a 2008 Honda Accord. I bought the honda accord at BOCH and it wasn't that painful, but the only reason I will continue to use Boch is the exceptional service dept. I have never had a long wait that wasn't expected. They are always upfront with not only wait times, but with the cost as well. The best part about this service dept are the people. They let me know that on my civic, I could use a 130,000 mile service, but told me that I could wait another 10,000 miles if I needed to. I was so impressed with their honesty. I like to take good care of my car, (why be stranded waiting for AAA when I could have replaced something when I found out about it) so I opted to get the service, but it was such a great feeling knowing that they were on my side... not out out to make the almighty dollar... Another great experience I had was when I bought my new car. The service dept gave me a key chain that gave me two free oil changes (the first one and the fourth one). How great is that! Now I even receive coupons and reminders in the mail so I don't even have to think about my car (they do all that for me) Trust me I need all the help I can get :)

Well, just wanted to let someone know that not all dealerships are bad...

My Review of Boch Honda:
The service here was outstanding!!! I had to get an oil change and tire rotation. I had my three children with me. Maria Lopez in service-was OUTSTANDING. I've never met anyone so PLEASENT in the car industry to deal with. She brought me and the kids to there great play room for the kids to just hang out, watch a movie, tv, color, play with a children's computer or play with lego's. They didn't want to leave when the car was ready. She then showed me desks with wi-fi connections if you have your laptop and phones at your disposale. Also, the kids loved that no matter what time of day we got there they could have free-muffins, danish or donuts-I love the coffee! I will definatly be back.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I love them here! We were deciding between a toyota or honda minivan. The sales guys here where awesome they took there time with me 8 months pregnant and all. They let me take my time driving the car sitting in it. Finding the color I wanted with all the extra's. They were wonderful!!! The price we paid for the car and the trade in were remarkable. I would send anyone looking for a honda here. And the service department was so great when I went back for my first oil change.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I purchased a 2007 Honda Fit from Boch Honda in February 2007. After ordering some extras, I was told to pick up the car on a particular day. I arrived and the car wasn't ready! I had to wait around while the service department put on the rear bumper applique. They put it on CROOKED and I had to wait another thirty minutes while they removed it and reapplied it. My cargo mat wasn't in stock, so they ordered one.

The Guidepoint theft system button was taped to my front console, also crooked. These guys are very sloppy.

I returned twice more to Boch Honda, inquiring about my cargo mat and wasting an hour on each trip. EACH TIME, I was told that the service department had already installed it. EACH TIME, I told them they were wrong. EACH TIME, they said they would order one and asked me to return on a particular day. Finally, on the THIRD VISIT, they gave me the cargo mat I had ordered on day one.

For my first oil change, I paid them to replace the wiper blade inserts because they were getting old. Two days later, during a rainstorm, I noticed that my right wiper blade was non-functional. The reason? They had broken the wiper blade while putting the new blade insert in, and the wiper blade no longer rested flush against the glass. No, they didn't have one in stock. I had to go back twice in order to get something fixed that they had broken in the first place.

Just recently, the CD player died. It wouldn't accept any CDs, claiming there was one in the player. There wasn't. They ordered me a new radio under warranty, which required that I return on another day and wait a couple hours while they replaced the radio. A few days later, I noticed that there were big gouges around the edges of the center console (near the A/C knobs) where some idiot technician had levered on it WITH A SCREWDRIVER. Also, they forgot to hook back up the outside air/recirculate lever so it's non-functional. Now I have to go back and show them the damage, and they will probably have to order yet another part. Then I can go back and wait for hours more on some other day so they can fix yet more damage they caused in the first place.

Don't let them touch your car at Boch Honda, because they will probably break something else in the process.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I basically called nearly every Honda dealer in New England MA, NH, and VT in my search for a solid price on a new Honda. I had visited several dealers (see my review of Herb Chambers, with whom I had a very negative experience), had talked with many more over the phone, and basically got nowhere.

Then I phoned Boch. They gave me a price that was over $1000 *less* than anything I was able to negotiate at other dealerships. Since it was so low (a few bucks below invoice), and because I was a bit gunshy from some bad dealer experiences, I initially thought it was a scam. Nevertheless, one of their sales managers faxed me a signed offer, and I put down a small deposit. As dealers continued to call me, they told me they couldn't touch Boch's price.

When I got to Boch for my appointment, the salesman (Dan) was extremely courteous. The offer was legit. I basically signed the papers and that was that. It was the most pleasant, drama-free car-shopping experience I've ever had.

Everyone I dealt with was straightforward. They listened more than they tried to sell. They were honest and genuine. I know these guys have to make a living, and these were people I was happy to work with...they were real people and not slippery characters. Based on my research and my shopping around, I know I got the best deal in New England from Boch. They got my sale. Things worked out great.

I don't relish buying cars. Most of us dread it. Boch left me very, very pleasantly surprised.

My Review of Boch Honda:
Sales Manager Mark Schloss (or something like that; never gave me his card) was typical looking and sounding old-time car salesman. Very rude (dare I say "crude?"). Talk about stereotypes!! After working with OK salesperson, he came over to "meet" me, and let me know value of tradein. Told him I thought his number was VERY low. Told me that's all it's worth, that I had until the end of the day to decide, a few more words, and, while still talking and finishing what he was saying, stood up, turned his back and walked away. No "think about it," "goodbye" or even a handshake. From my point of view, he instantly lost the sale for my salesperson. Very soon after this, another "sales manager" came over, better dressed. Was this a good guy/bad guy routine they were pulling on me? He proceeds to talk about my tradein, and quotes a number $5,000 higher than the first guy. What happened to "that's all it's worth?" Get me out of here fast!! Unless you're a car-buying masochist, stay away.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I had a terrible experience with another Boston-area Honda dealer and so I called up Boch Honda. I told a man in sales what car I wanted, the color, and the model and I told him I wanted it at invoice. While I didn't get it at invoice, I got it just above invoice and with the accessories I got thrown into the deal, it was practically invoice. The other dealer called me a few days later to offer roughly the same price but in a color that was quite ugly. If I had wanted a different color from Boch, I could've had the car at invoice. Better yet, when I came in everyone was very friendly, they didn't try and up the price on me and actually gave us more deals when we came in! Incredible! Granted they said it was because we were very nice to them so they wanted to be nice to us, but we didn't do anything other than smile and be friendly. I was astonished to find anyone in the car industry this nice after the reputations you hear about. This was the first new car I've ever purchased and if I were to continue to live in Boston, I'd tell everyone to go there and I'd come back myself. They were wonderful!!!

My Review of Boch Honda:
I was having electrical troubles with my 2000 Accord, so I brought it to the most reputable dealer I could think of in the Metrowest area of Boston -- well, at least I thought it was the most reputable. When I filed the work order I asked, specifically to have an oil change done while the car was being serviced. I verified this at the time of the work order, when the service "advisor" (ironic title) called me to tell me the cost of the repairs (which ended up being more than $500) and again when he called to tell me my car was ready. I arrived at the dealership with a 20 minute window of time -- should have been enough to fill out any necessary paperwork and pay for the repairs before I left. Upon my checkout, I noticed there was no charge for the oil change, so I questioned the service "advisor", who had a sudden case of amnesia and didn't remember me asking to have an oil change done. So, now with my car in desparate need of an oil change, I had to wait 45 (between the oil change and my argument with the service "idiot') minutes while it was being done. Oh yeah, I was late to where I had to be. And to add insult to injury, I had to PAY FOR IT! Although, to be fair, they did offer my next oil change for free. Super. There's a great example of quality customer service.
While my car was being serviced, it was determined that I needed a new seatbelt switch on my driver's side, which had been the cause of my SRS being illuminated. They ordered the part and "advised" me to come back the following Friday, which I did. When I arrived the following Friday, I was told it would take as long as 2 hours before the car was ready. I chose to wait the two hours (actually it was 2 1/2 hours, but close enough). I left a more satisfied customer this time. That is until my SRS light came on again the following morning. I looked down at the seatlbelt switch -- IT HAD BEEN INSTALLED ON THE WRONG SIDE. Now, I have waited 2 1/2 hours only to now need to go back and wait AGAIN!
I'm pretty sure I won't be cashing in that free oil change, as I will NEVER go back there again.
BTW - In my three trips there, I noticed several unsatisfied customers, I was not an isolated case. If you choose to go there, plan for several repeat trips and bring your best yelling voice and your unsatisfied look. You're going to need it.

My Review of Boch Honda:
Boch dealership is an interesting place. When you look around at the salesman you wonder if Boch raided best Best Buy for help. I had the luck though of being from out of state (NH) so I ended up dealing with Steve Saunders. Steve is on the opposite end of the spectrum. He is a what you might call an old school salesman. He was knowledgeable and a gentleman who never gave me a hard sell and a good price (based on alot of price quotes) the first time. He also had to drive the car himself up into Hampton for the across border sale and he did it on my schedule only a couple of days after the sale. The financing department stinks, they tried the hard sell on warranties and offered a ridiculous interest rate before realizing that I'm not as dumb as I look but came to there senses. The bottom line is Boch because of the volume sold will give you a great price in comparison and maybe even a good financing package if you do your homework and ask for Steve.

My Review of Boch Honda:
OK, I read all of the horror stories but I figured that since they are #1 on the planet I would give them a shot. I got the best deal and it was about as no hassle of a car buying experience as you can get. Sure they want to sell cars and accessories but I was never pressured into anything. The person in finance was delightful. They had the car I wanted at a great price with a great return on my trade but I was well schooled before I went. I have not used their service yet but the car was prepped beautifully. So if a great deal is important to you don't hesitate to try Boch.

My Review of Boch Honda:
This was my first and worst experience EVER!

I visited about 5 dealerships before arriving to boch Honda Norwood. They had the car I wanted and I loved it. I negotiated a fair deal, but the pressure to buy NOW and THE WAY THEY WANT it was OVERWHELMING.

I wanted to finance through my own bank and they tried to pressure me out of that. They insisted that if I was not going to finance with them I must leave a deposit. I supposedly signed a purchase of sale agreement over the weekend but come to find out on Monday morning I had to come back and sign the "real one" (go fgure)!

The Sales Rep (Okay) was totally clueless, unprofessional, and annoying. Originally when I looked at the car every problem I mentioned to him his response was " no problem we will fix that" Then when it came down to it, all of a sudden he's telling me he has to get that approved.

As the deal proceeded - it only got worse - they wanted payment in full days before the car was repaired and given to me.

They are very contradictory, they will tell you all these great things in the beginning but once the deal is near closing here comes TROUBLE! For example it was fine for them to bring the vehicle to my mechanic to look at and then once the deal was coming to a close - they told me they could not do that.

From the Sales Rep, to the Manager, to the Finance dept. to the Head Manger they are EXTREMELY untrustworthy and will tell you anything to get that check through the door.

They also wanted me to sign documents that had the wrong information on them - for example the odometer number listed on their docs. was lower than what it really was.

With respect to Honda Certified vehicles, make sure you know what that entails because if you don't you will get a half A$$ job.

I would not advise anyone to deal with them UNLESS you don't mind spending your money loosely, and if you must deal with them have your questions ready and get all agreed upon deals initialed.

Be very careful with these people. If you know nothing about buying a car THIS IS NOT the place for you to go - they will DISRESPECT you and TAKE YOU FOR A LONG HORRIBLE RIDE!

It is sad that myself and so many other customers have to face this unecessary abuse, but for me it was one of the most horrible experience I have ever faced but I did learn a lot.

Avoid Boch Honda Norwood by all means necessary.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I got a best quote for my Honda Odyssey EXL from Boch.

I have visited Boch Honda on 05/22/2007 with my wife, infant son (2 weeks old), toddler son and my mother. The manager who has been communicating with thru e-mail greeted us and assigned a Sales Person to us and afterwards everything went downhill. I have notified Manager in advance that I want to make the whole process quick because of demand from my sons.

I left my sons and mother in the car and had been working with the so called Sales Guy.

He was not at all friendly and very poor in communication. When I asked him to show us the car, he took us to the lot and was searching for the Nimbus Gray EXL. When he failed to find the car, he has been pestering to select some other color. I did not take him seriously. We returned to the show room and he went to check the availability of the van in Computer. He came back and asked me to finish the paper work because I would not have a lot of time left. When I persisted that I wanted to see the vehicle and wanted to come back for another day for the paper work, he ridiculed that I have not been using the time wisely.

At times I wondered whether that guy was tired or intoxicated or have difficulty in comprehending things.

Then he disappeared for 15 minutes and asked me that the van was outside. When I told him that was not the color, he asked us to get in. He does not know any clue about the controls in the EXL. I thought he was taking us back to the same lot where we searched the Nimbus Gray in the first place. I thanked him a lot for that, but he pulled the van and started driving in the main road. My wife was very upset and worried because our infant son could wake up any time and my mother was not notified in advance about our trip to a different lot and she does not know English. We asked him to return to the show room.

Bottom line is, this Sales Guy was not friendly, argumentative and treated us very shabbily. I am known for keeping my cool but he tested my patience yesterday. We left Boch after notifying the manager. The manager apologized many times. Boch contacted the next day many times and asked me to return.

I went to another dealership around our area who matched the boch deal.

My advice.

1.Communcate to the Sales Managers thru e-mails.
2. Finalize the price before you go.
3. Tell them about your options. For example you can tell them not to talk about warranty or any other things.
4. When you visit, ask for a good sales guy or else they might loose the business.

If you do the above, then you will get a best deal. Boch is the one who could provide best quote around here. So if you do a little homework, you can get your vehicle from Boch with out any problem.

I did everything I mentioned except asking for a good sales guy. Boch knows they lost my deal becuase of bad sales guy.

Thanks

My Review of Boch Honda:
Bought a used Honda Odyssey at Boch New to You in 2005. Transmission just went last week. Did some research and found out the car was covered under an extended warranty due to numerous transmission issues on these cars. Called Honda to make an appointment and gave them my vin #, that is when I found out the car was manufactured for use in a Canadian market, so it could not be covered under the warranty. After speaking with Honda Canada, and Honda USA, they told me they couldn't do anything, that the dealer who sold me the car should have told me the car was manufactured for Canada. I contact Boch and they tell me that they do not have to provide me with that information. So now I am stcuk with a $3500 repair bill taht would be covered in Canada but not the US. Will never buy a car from Boch or Honda again.

My Review of Boch Honda:
This was my 6th dealer. Previous dealers, Boch Toyota, and 3 Nissan Dealers, so when I walked into Boch Honda I was familiar with the routine. The only exception was this was not the familiar routine. Okay Ivuchi was the first salesman I encountered, he went over the top to search for the perfect car, color, accessories, for me on a below zero wind chill factor he stood outside looking a color of a car I had not yet determined I wanted yet. I was very impressed with his patience and I was not at all pressured. I test drove the Honda Accord EX which I liked well enough but was still stuck on the Nissan and was ready to leave after an 1 1/2 hours. He said are you sure there isn't anything more I can do for you and I said actually, could you tell me how much you would give me for my car. When the keys came back the Sales Manager, Paul Costine had them and basically said I really want to make a deal today because of the weather, what can I do for you to help you find a car you will be happy with, he gave me invoice and never swayed from that, even with a trade, he also put his 3% towards the value of my trade. I wanted power seats and power mirrors. Instead of saying well you can have those put in, he said it might be cheaper to go to the next model, Honda Accord EXL. On minute in this car and I loved it. Everything I needed. Paul Costine called Dennis Young another salesman over to take over, Okay had to take care of an unexpected situation. I was even more impressed by Dennis Young, while Okay was knowledgeable and I grilled him, Dennis Young was even more knowledgeable and offered more information than I had asked for. He was calm, patient, thorough. He was willing to come in the following day, his day off so I could empty out my car because it was late and cold. The "feared" finance manager, worked with me every step of the way. I didn't have to work with him. I was there from 3:30p to 9:00p and drove home that night in my beautiful new car. Boch Honda definitely exceeded my expectations. Keep up the good work!

I bought a 2007 Ridgeline from boch honda and have felt that disugusting "I've been scammed" feeling ever since. The salesman was a greasy kid who never returned phone calls, the finance guy sucked me into upgrades that are probably worthless (hindsight being 20/20, and I feel like a sucker!). He sold me the extended warranty and "faux" lo jack, stating, you want this because the "new" thieves now use flat bed trucks to steal your car, and without the security system, people will just say "there goes another broken down ridgeline". I bought that crap .... ouch! Hondas never breakdown!
In short, Boch Honda lived up to the "car dealers are scum" that everyone fears. You try and be a nice person with them and they take FULL advantage. NEVER AGAIN, I will buy through a private sale, used, on my own terms so I don't feel used and abused again

My Review of Boch Honda:
Sales person was nice, other than that, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Every other employee seemed miserable. Business associate lied. Convinced me to get extended warrenty by telling me that all I had to do to cancel and get refund was to call her within 60 days, she told me even if I was 10% sure I wanted the warrenty it would be right move because cancellation was so easy. My fault for believing her. She was then impossible to get through to. I spoke to 4 other people in business about this, and they seemed to purposefully make it as difficult as possible to cancel. It was, literally, 5 MONTHS and dozens of calls, paperwork, and a FEE, before I saw a refund (and, based on what I was told, I was planning on this refund to help pay for my loan). Once, I was told that my paperwork had been processed and I would see my refund in 60 days. 60 days later, after not receiving refund, I called and was told there was no record my ever cancelling. Had to wait another 60 days. Very frustrating. Will never go back. Will discourage everyone I know interested in buying a car from going here.

Hi I want to tell everyone although I may have waited too long (((in my opinion))) to see a business manager after the sale was completed the people I dealt with from the sales person Darnell to anyone else I dealt with were always telling me what was going on. I must thank Ernie for the great fruit and coffee as well. The price I received after negotiation was by far the best and I must admit I shopped other dealers in the area as well. I will admit that one of the dealers I was with was also very nice and they had great home made chocolate chip cookies but with all the $$$$$ I saved at Boch I can buy my own cookies. Also the only other thing I was not TOTALLY satisfied with was the music was a litle loud in the show room. The bottom line is I saved not hundredas but well over 2,000 shopping at Boch. They gave me at least a thousand dollors more for my trade than anyone else.

My Review of Boch Honda:
My cousin was planning on buying a car from Boch Honda, put down a $3000 deposit and got a call back from Herb Chamber the following day with a better deal. My cousin called and asked for procedures on getting the refund on the deposit back with Boch Honda.... Arnie Eisenman said my cousin can't have the deposit back and without explaining further. So I drove my cousin to the dealership to see what is going on and exactly what he signed. When I asked Arnie Eisenman, he said he refused to show me the paperwork he signed. He is a very contradicting man, when I 1st asked for his manager, he said there are many here today and he can bring them all out if I wanted too, and after 5 minutes, he said no managers wanted to speak with me. After minutes of continuation of arguments, he finally showed me the paperwork. He was being very childish and
accused my cousin of lying to him etc for buying the car and he is not buying it now. I calmly stated that I would just like a copy of the paper he signed so I can consult a professional. He again, refused to give me a copy. His exact wordings are: "no I won't give you a copy, I am not going to give you a copy, he is a liar, and you weren't here yesterday so you don't know anything you don't have the right to say anything and I don't want to speak to you". He continued to cream, and there are many people around. He humiliated me in front of my cousin and other customers and sales reps. I have never been treated this way at a car dealership! He made a very obnoxious statement stating that he started working as a sales rep way before I was even born and he make so much money he can buy me. I felt embarrassed, insulted and very offended. He kept telling me to go home and find my lawyer because he said I am not a lawyer and I don't know anything at all. When I was about to walk out the door, a sales manager approached me to see what happened, BUT Arnie try to stop him from speaking with me. He was telling the manager that the other managers doesn't want him to speak to me????????

He may be more then twice my age but he acts not even close to half of my age...

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING YOUR CAR AT BOCH WITH ARNIE EISENMAN THE
MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SALES REP IN THE WHOLE WORLD¡K..

"come on down ... and get insulted by Arnie...."

My Review of Boch Honda:
After being slick talked into purchasing an extended warranty, we were told we had 60 days to cancel it. We have been trying to cancel the policy for 30 days - calling every other day, no one ever calls back, no one picks up their phone, the insurance company says we need to cancel through the dealership, the dealership states (the first call we placed when we actually talked to someone) we need to cancel through the insurance company. Wer found the exact same policy for $700 less. We will never shop there again.

My Review of Boch Honda:
This August we leased a 2007 Honda Accord from Boch. After reviewing the contract I noticed an amount of $1499 on the contract but determine by the copy that I had what this amount was for. I proceeded to go to Boch Honda and I questioned the sales rep, Jaime Maldonado who didn’t know what this amount was for. He referred me to another Business Manager, Geoff. Geoff also didn’t know what the $1499 was for but instead referred me to Morgan who was the Business Manager who issued the contract. I left messages for Morgan that went unanswered. After trying to more than a week I proceeded to contact Mr. Bill Cafarello, General Manager who told me would call me back but he didn’t. Since Mr. Cafarello didn’t call me back I placed another call to him and he then referred me to Lindsay Tatro who informed me that the $1499 was for seat fabric protection and this product was known as “Touch of Class”. I asked them to take it out of the loan and they eventually had the loan re-written.

In the meantime during one of my visits to Boch Honda trying to find out what the $1499 was for, I had an oil change done on a 2006 Accord that we leased for my husband in April of this year. In the contract we got charged $595 for a “Touch of Class” product but this was never delivered, we just got charged for it.

We went back to Boch Honda and had our loan re-written for the 2007 Honda Accord. As part of this transaction, Boch Honda was to pay off a loan outstanding for a 2004 Honda Accord that was traded in. In September I received notification from American Honda Finance that the account is past due. I went back to them and informed them the car had been traded in at Boch Honda. They asked me to follow-up on the pay off since the account is still our responsibility. For two weeks I am going back and forth with Boch trying to obtain a confirmation on the payoff. Finally, we receive confirmation from Mr. Cafarello that the loan was paid off but it turned out not to be the case. The loan was not paid off until last week when I told Mr. Cafarello that I would contact the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office and the FTC.

Having had this experience, I went back to review my prior contracts with Boch Honda. In August 2005 I purchased a Honda Pilot. In the contract they included $1539 for a service agreement that I did not purchase. I noticed this in September 2005 and went back to Boch and had them cancel it. Unfortunately, even though Boch Honda cancelled the service agreement American Honda Finance does not readjust your monthly loan amount. As mentioned, I went back to review prior transactions and found that underneath the $1539 for the Service Agreement there was a $499 amount for some unknown product . I also noticed that my loan term that should have been for 60 months is for 72 months instead. I have gone back to Boch Honda asking for information on the $499 and filed a written complaint with them last week to include the altered loan term.

As a result of my complaint, today I learned by Mr. Jim Carroll, Chief Administrative Officer/Counsel that in the transaction of my 2005 Pilot I was also charged $1433.28 for an Accident and Health Insurance that is not disclosed and listed in the contract but instead was made part of the loan principal.

Isn't this loan fraud?

My Review of Boch Honda:
Good grief! Our nightmare on the automile!! We purchased our vehicle from Boch Honda a few years ago and had received good service up until our last visit. They had the vehcile for 6 days (no rental offered) and didn't diagnose the problem until I personally drove with the technician on the third day to help troubleshoot. Only then did they agree it was a problem with the transmission (the warrenty had curiuosly been disputed on the second day). It wasn't until we showed them our warranty documents (we purchased from Boch) that they agreed to perform the work. Well of course other "costly repairs" were discovered along the way and the labor alone came to $900. And wouldn't you know it, just two days later the back bracks failed on the vehicle. A coincedence you say? Hardly! Shame on us for building trust in Boch Honda. Never again will we buy a vehicle or have one seviced at Boch Honda. Sure,"Come on Down" to get ripped off!

My Review of Boch Honda:
I Was told by phone to leave a deposit of $500 to insure the car I wanted would still be there when I arrived. I did not leave a deposit and arrived 45 minutes later, was hooked up to one of their "leaading" sales reps and was then told they did not have the car. They tried to sell me another at a higher price..I didn't bite, left the area and enjoyed a nice ride home without any new car payments.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I went to buy a honda Pilot. We didn't test drive here, but did drive another pilot the day before from another dealership, so we did know what we wanted. The service was actually pretty efficient - the car was valeted prior to arrival which saved some time, and there was a play area for my son so he was happy. The salesman was almost a car salesman stereotype but got the job done. I think financially we got a good deal, we weren't robbed. The finance person was very nice and helpful, and we were not pressurized into buying packages or extra warranties which we were unconvinced about. I can see that if I hadn't been sure of the car at all that there would have been a hard sell, but this is probably true of most dealers. Only niggle - they got my husband to take our stuff out of our old trade in and put in in the new pilot before we even reviewed the finance agreement!

My Review of Boch Honda:
Dealing with Boch Honda was the aboslutel WORST experience! I went to them because they had a large inventory of 2002 Honda CRVs and I wanted to test drive one. They put an enormous amount of pressure on me to buy the test drive vehicle even after I had informed them I did NOT want that color. I left with a deposit on a CRV in the color I wanted (based on full refund if I did not like the car) which would arrive in the following days. In the interim, I found a 2004 black CRV at a different dealer for $200 more than Boch Honda wanted. When I went back to look at the 2002 and told them I would not pay their asking priced based on the asking price of the 2004, I was berated by the sales manager, Chris. He was condescending and rude under the guise of telling me that I was being had. I immediately left. The salesman followed me out and called me back in to talk again. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The sales manager proceeded to aggressively lecture me again on how I was being fooled and how ridiculous I was being. I can't believe the jerks that work there! I bought the 2004 for a great price! Now I only need to get my deposit back on the 2002.....

My Review of Boch Honda:
Went into Boch Honda to test drive an Accord. I sat down with the sales guy and we went over the preliminary stuff (features, license, etc). The sales rep had zero interest in showing me the car. Sales rep wanted me to buy the car site-unseen,. No test drive, nothing. I was made to feel that he was doing me a favor by spending his time with him, rather than him having to earn my business. After some arm twisting, I was able to test drive the car and I decided I would not buy it on that day. I was then faced with a birrage of pressure from the sales rep and his manager. When I finally got up to leave, the sales manager followed me to my car and only further hardened my opinion not to buy from Boch Honda. Overall, my experience at Boch Honda was poor. The sales rep and his manager used extreme high pressure tactics and really took the focus off of the product. Imagine spending 22k+ on a product you have never seen, and thats exactly what they were hoping for.

My Review of Boch Honda:
buying my 2004 honda was great at boch. the service department leaves a lot to be desired. They screwed up my first two oil changes. First, the initial oil change - was told I would be "in and out." an hour and fifteen minutes later I asked what was wrong - told it was just about done. At one hour and forty minutes I told them to stop working on it and drive it around front so I could leave. Found out it was actually ready, but no one decided to tell me. at least i got the oil change free. second oil change...only took 50 minutes (also "in and out") but they lost my registration. Spent the next hour trying to find it. No soap. So, I had to drive around over the thanksgiving weekend without one. Spoke to the service manager and he had arranged to get me a duplicate reg. if boch cannot do an oil change without screwing up...why go to them for complicated repairs?

My Review of Boch Honda:
I just want to register the Horrible Horrible experience my fiance and I had with Boch Honda. We went over Presidents Day Weekend to buy a Honda Accord.

The model that we were looking for was not available on the lot, but the sales manager (Chris Beausoliea) told us that he had one coming in the next day (which was a Sunday), and it would be ours. He even showed us the VIN#. We signed a letter of intent to buy the car and put down $2000, but wouldn't sign the PNS until the car was on the lot, because we weren't buying a car sight-unseen

We called the next day to check on the car, and got no call back. Called again the day after, and spoke to the GM (Mark Doran), who told us that they never get cars delivered on Sunday, and that the car hadn't arrived yet. We called the next day and were rudely told that the car still wasn't in, and they didn't know where it was or when it would be in, and they'd let us know.

We then spoke to another GM (Jamie McKay). My fiance asked for our deposit back as we weren't considereing buying a car they couldn't even locate, and were told no. It was only after threats of calls to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office did he say we would have our money returned "eventually", and he'd appreciate it if we'd stop calling and being a pain in the @ss.

Finally after a call to Ernie Boch Jr's office and conversation with his assitant (Joyce) (who was very apollogetic and helpful), did we get some action, and we did end up getting our deposit back.

Never Never Never buy from Boch Honda. They are dishonest, rude, and crooked. Try anywhere else for better service.

My Review of Boch Honda:
All Boch Dealerships are sleezy..! Don't ever buy from these guys. The used cars they get are junk or broken in some way and you'll spend TONS trying to get them fixed. The sales people are REALLY pushy (even more so then most dealers!) and get mad if you don't buy right then. I went and spoke to a dealer "Stephen" who was a younger guy and seemed nice at first but quickly got pushy and upset when I stood fast about not test driving a car (simply because I didn't have the time) or buying one from him. I did the nice thing and sat down with him to explain what I wanted in a car but when he didn't have what I wanted, he brought around a car to the front of the dealership which was almost the exact oppisite of what I was looking for and demanded that I test drive it. After again standing fast and not getting into the car, he actually walked back into the dealership while I was in the middle of a sentance talking to him. I did some asking around about this dealership and found a TON of people who have been pushed into buying a car they didn't want from these guys and have TONS of problems with the cars. NO NOT even go there. You'll reget it. Good luck.

My Review of Boch Honda:
I was very trepidicious about going to Boch because of many negative things I heard about the dealership. Some of the negative things I found is they quoted me a hight MSRP until I pointed out to the salesman what the "MSRP" actually is. Overall, after we got all the B.S. out of the way, the experience was better than three other dealerships I had went to. Boch was definetly not as bad as originally thought.

My Review of Boch Honda:
Had the worst experience. We were lied to about the availability of the 2003 Honda Accord Ex in our preferred color and tricked into signing the purchase agreement. When I cancelled the order three days later in writing they ignored me and refused to refund the $2000 deposit. I had to get the attorney general's office involved and send a hefty complaint to the Honda corporation to get the check, and even then they never admitted to any wrongdoing. This company is rotten all the way through from the sales people up to the G.M.
