I recently purchased a 2002 Ford Escape from CARMAN AUTOGROUP. I am on a fixed income and I could not afford a new automobile. The reason I am sharing My sales experience at CARMAN is the Escape I purchased was in Immaculate condition with very low milage not to mention a price that could not be beat. This black on black leather loaded suv was just like new, one owner trade in. I was so pleased with the test drive and the no pressure salesman I just hade to purchase it. The salesman was the most curtious, knowledgeable and caring about my needs as a customer that I have ever encountered. I took my time and got the most for my money.I could not help but to feel as if I purchased a brand new vehicle. All of the employees that I encountered from sales to finance to a tour of the service department was the most professional and warm overall experience I have ever encountered Including meeting the owner. The owner went out of his way to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and was working just as hard as everyone else, what an example He set. No wonder CARMAN has so many repeat customers I would encourage any one looking to buy new or used no matter what you are looking for to stop in and take a tour of the largest inventory of cars and trucks around.I am extreamily happy with my purchase. Steve did an excellent job of taking care of the problem. He gave us a loaner car that was on hand to use while the car was being serviced. Very poor service. They can't ever seem to figure out the problem the first time. Car is never done on time. Never offer a loaner. My sable wagon still has front end problems and the air conditioner s the problem the first time. Car is never done on time. Never offer a loaner. I tried to schedule a service appointment at Carman Ford to have an issue with my transmission addressed. I explained that there was a TSB related to the issue and would like ONLY that work to be performed to have an issue with my transmission addressed. I explained that there was a TSB related to the issue and would like ONLY that work to be performed. I didn't want them taking apart a transmission which wasn't even one year old. The appointment scheduler did not know what I was talking about and transferred me to the service manager. The service manager asked me if this appointment was for a recall. When I said it was not and that it was to take care of a TSB he dismissed my concern and would not schedule the appointment. Since that time, I have taken my car there only once to get an oil change. The price Carman charges is much higher than other dealers in the area for the same service. More
