My Review of Charles Barker Lexus Va Beach:
I towed my car to them since it had a strating problem. They called back and told me that the Idle Control Valve needs to be replaced. Along with that they gave me a list of other things for driving the car 'Safely'. One of those is: Replacement of Water pump and Timing belt with an estimation of $1505. Obviously my car had 98,000 miles on it. SO they wanted to cash-in on that routine work. But the fact is, I had already replaced my whole engine block(under warranty) with all it parts including timing belt and water pump just few months before. Unfortunately they haven't looked into my car history before they told me those are a "MUST" to drive safely. They also told me that they have done the proper tests confirming it. Luckily I had past service records and I showed that to one of their managers. Finally the service manager told me that she will look into the problem once again, only to tell me that it was just a 'loose bracket' not the whole pump and tightened the bracket to fix it.

Fortunately I had a previous record of the things I did in my previous service and I showd that to one of their managers. Finally she told she will look into this once again only to tell me that the problem was just loose bracket not the pump.
