Told me not to call police because they won’t get involved on private property - police later told me that is “absolutely false”! More
The service here is nothing short of horrendous. I noticed my temperature gauge was fluctuating every once in a while when driving. In an effort to be proactive, I took it to my local mechanic who che noticed my temperature gauge was fluctuating every once in a while when driving. In an effort to be proactive, I took it to my local mechanic who checked for leaks, ran a pressure test & he said it might be the head gasket & that I would need to take it to a shop who worked with a machine shop. Eventually, after calling around I found that my only real option was to take it to the dealership. I called & had to wait a week to get an appointment. I dropped it off with the service rep Devon &, after 2 days of minimal communication, Devon called back to say that they took apart my head gasket & could not really see any issues that would warrant it getting replaced. I asked what they were recommending & he said that I could pay $2,300 to replace the head gasket but they did not think it was necessary at this time. He advised me to drive it around until I noticed it getting worse or happening more frequently. I figured I could trust the dealership & did not want to spend thousands of dollars for no real reason. Fast forward 3 months of minimal driving due to working from home and using my wife’s car primarily, I noticed that the temp gauge was starting to fluctuate even more often. I had been saving money each month knowing that there was going to be some more work done on the car in the near future & figured it was time to have the dealer look at the car again. I called &, just like last time, needed to wait a week for them take a look at the car. I dropped it off again with Devon who said they would take a look. This time they took it apart & said that they could see evidence where they should replace the head gasket. I was prepared for that & said I would like to get it fixed. However, here is where things took a turn. Instead of it being $2,300 like the last quote it suddenly was $2,900. Devon then started saying that he thinks “the engine might be warped” & that if the head gasket replacement doesn’t work then I would need a whole new engine which would cost $7,800 on top of the $2,900. I asked what makes them think that would be the case and he said this wasn’t any visible evidence but that it was a common issue. I then asked if it was so common why was there not a recall on the engine? He then said it was not that common, just that he had seen it happen a few times before. I asked if there was a potential to trade it in & look at a new car & he said there would be no trade in value since they knew about the head gasket issue, but also recommended that I take the car to another company that did not know about the issue and try to trade it in without disclosing it. I was a little shocked that my 6 year old car with only 80,000 miles on it was potentially worthless and in need of nearly $11,000 of work & that I was receiving further bad advice from Devon who was telling me to do the cheaper repair & try to pawn the issue off onto someone else, so I said I would need to talk it over with my wife before doing anything. After talking with my wife & realizing the fact that Devon had repeatedly given me bad advice, I decided I needed to talk to a manager for a resolution. I called on Wednesday and was told by someone in reception that Chris, the service manager, would give me a call back. By the end of the day I received no call. I called again the next day & said I was waiting for a call from Chris & the person I was speaking with said that he was on vacation & wouldn’t be back until next week. I said I had a serious issue & would like to talk with someone in management & they forwarded me to the sales manager. I got a voicemail & left a message which again was never returned. Friday morning I called again & eventually spoke with Ernie who said he would have the District manager call me back. I got a text from Devon who said Chris was the district manager and that he was on vacation. They continue to provide terrible service & are refusing to call me back all while holding my car hostage. My advice, stay far away from this dealer. They give bad advice and will rip you off. More

Cherry Hill Jeep could learn ALOT from Turnersville Jeep! It was the 3rd time going back to fix the death wobble at Cherry Hill Jeep. I was greeted by "Hey your mask" by a girl who was just sitting behind It was the 3rd time going back to fix the death wobble at Cherry Hill Jeep. I was greeted by "Hey your mask" by a girl who was just sitting behind a desk to the left. I had mistakenly left my mask under my nose and needed to pull it up. Then the half asleep crew behind the service counter took my information (no hello nothing) and I was told to have a seat and they will look at the Jeep and get back to me. Hour or so later I inquire what's going on. They tell me , yes it did the same thing with them, they were able to replicate the problem. OK, how long will it take to fix since Corporate said since this is the 3rd time they will help provide me with a rental car. They then tell me to see Chris, the nasty, if not nastiest, Service Manager I have ever met. I go in his office as other employees are all around the doorway as if the King is about to speak. Chris tells me I have to go out with the mechanic and replicate the problem. I said, but you just told me you did. He tells me that wasn't a mechanic that took my car out, it was one of the VALET guys that test drove it!!! I was like, who gave him permission to drive my car? Are you kidding me, the 20 something year old valet guy?? Anyway, I tell him I have to get back to work and HE needs to have a mechanic drive it and figure out the problem. I let him know I was getting a rental and he can keep it as long as needed to fix it since I almost got killed in it over the week. He tells me, good luck getting Corporate to pay for your loaner. They promise things they don't deliver on! I disregarded his nasty comment and then I asked how long he thinks they will have it. He said, "Look lady, I've never seen your car, it's never been here. If you want I can just throw a bunch of parts in it if that will make you happy." I said No, I just want you to fix it correctly this time since it's the 3rd time here with the same problem and you haven't. He yells at me, "What? It's never been here before!". I said, yes it has many times. After going back and forth a few times with him being angry that I said I have been there before and him arguing with me I have not, he finally starts typing in his computer and sees that I have indeed been there 3 other times. No apology, nothing. Just continues to say well it's gonna take time and we will let you know when it's ready. Now I'm crying as I leave his office because he was such a bully and now I"m really upset. I call Lisa, from Corporate, who was my angel throughout this whole thing and tell her what is going on. She calls Enterprise and they come pick me up. We go to Enterprise and unfortunately they don't have a car to accommodate me. So I go back to the dealership. I was only gone about 40 minutes. I walk in and tell the guy at the front desk, that I have to take my car, I have no ride home now and I'm really upset. He grabs the paperwork and says, "Oh well it's ready for pick up anyway". I was like, what?? Chris said it will take awhile, like next Monday or Tuesday? He's like nope, the mechanic drove it and there is no issue with your car. Here ya go and hands me the keys. Wow. So did Chris just figure he was going to lie and get me and my car off his lot? By doing this he risked me and my daughter's life since the problem with the car was very serious as you will see below. The most unprofessional, uncaring and low class place I have ever been to. Run by a lying, bullying "manager" named Chris. Who also by the way acknowledged that I was crying and was upset and he actually seemed annoyed by it. I contacted Lisa in Corporate again and she calmed me down, documented everything and then made an appointment right away at Turnersville Jeep for the following Monday. There I was greeted by a nice man who opened the garage and said "Beautiful day today isn't it". He then chit chatted with me, told me where to go, put down paper mats in the car and took it into the shop. I went to the service counter where I was greeted with a smile and how can I help you - I felt like I was on another planet! I met Bob, who is the true embodiment of a Manager and someone who knows customer relations. He welcomed me to their dealership, he explained what the process was going to be and also paid for a rental car which picked me up within 15 minutes of being there. They had my car for over a week and he contacted me through every step and repair and yes, my car needed some major repairs. He was a godsend as well as Lisa in Corporate. Perhaps Bob can do training sessions with Chris in the front row. The two differences in the service departments is unbelievable. Thank you Turnersville Jeep Service Center!!! Bob and the staff THANK YOU! However, I should never have had to go through all of this and the owner needs to take a good look at what's going on there in Cherry Hill. More
