This dealer took over from the place I originally bought the car which closed. I went for service a few times and wasn't thrilled with the experience. Last time was the worst. I recieved a coupon for a disc the car which closed. I went for service a few times and wasn't thrilled with the experience. Last time was the worst. I recieved a coupon for a discount on coolant changeout. I had other service items to take care of so asked for the coolant change out at the same time. The service person told me that the discount coupon I recieved "was for the radiator only and I should get the full engine coolant change", which costs 50% more. I agreed. After checkout at home I checked the receipt and the coupon for the original amount clearly stated it ws for a full engine coolant change. Can you say ripoff?They have been nickle and diming for years and it gets old fast. I now avoid any kind of service unless I absolutley have to go for a dealer repair, and will never buy a car from there, and may not even buy a Chrysler again. More
I BROUGHT IN MY CHRYSLER MINI VAN FOR WARRANTY SERVICE COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE CONTRACT, 1 OF THE ISSUES BEING A SECOND VISIT FOR THE SAME THING. VERY UN-HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AFTER MAKIN COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE CONTRACT, 1 OF THE ISSUES BEING A SECOND VISIT FOR THE SAME THING. VERY UN-HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AFTER MAKING ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP, I SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THEY MADE 3 ATTEMPTS OVER 90 DAYS TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO GET A RESPONSE TO RESOLVE THE COMPLAINT. THE DEALER DID NOT RESPOND AND THE BBB CLOSED THE CASE MARKING ON RECORD AS A COMPLAINT UN ANSWERED. NEVER WILL I GO BACK, AND ALL WHO WORK THERE SHOULD BE ASHAMED. More

It sounds like he/she was not happy with the amount offered for the trade which is usually what bothers people the most. I for one don't believe everything I read. Where are the emails asking for assistance for the "problem" they experienced? Be careful when reading these reviews. If a customer is unhappy about one little thing, they tend to exagerrate a bit when telling friends, family, coworkers, and especially internet sites. They need to have a good story to post, so they make it a little more interesting. Do I believe the dealer couldn't find the keys, or that they were going to give the Jeep to another dealer..sure. I also believe they probably low balled the trade. Everyone tries to get their best deal in business. Do I believe this person paid $32k for something they didn't want? No way. Who in their right mind would do that? I don't care how far I drive, I'm not spending that kind of money on anything I don't want and certainly not from people who "supposedly" treated me so badly. Just my opinion :) I originally came on here to rate my service experience and saw this and just had to respond. I brought my minivan in twice, once for regular maintenance and once for a damage windshield. I came back for the auto body damage because they were so great for the regular maintenance. Normally, if you take a vehicle to a dealer for service and are looking for an overrall inspection of everything, it's like open season when you pick your vehicle up. They have a list of hundreds of dollars of recommended services. I had the oil changed and asked for the maintenance inspection. I was recommended to replace my brakes soon and replace my tires. That's it. I paid my $40 and was happy. Everyone was pleasant and didn't try to sell me any extra services. I was very pleased and will return to them for my brakes (which I already knew needed to be replaced) More
Hello all who read this. My name is Brian and I called up CHD in May to get a price for my car. I needed an alternator and spoke to Mark who said they could get me an alternator and install it for 260 plus t CHD in May to get a price for my car. They said it was because of some warranty they have because Dodge's alternators have been defected. So I drop the car off.. I called them the next few days for updates on the car, when I could pick it up.. and every time I asked for the price and said Mark said it would be 260 plus tax. Which they confirmed, So I go pick the car up.. and they say it's going to be 449 and change. I said why, they said because the car needed a new battery, starter, and alternator. THEY NEVER SAID THIS ON THE PHONE. So I pay them it was around MAY 17TH OR 19TH that I GOT MY CAR... On June 24th my car died. A little more than a month after they fixed it.. it died. I called them up told them what happened.. they said I was covered under a 12 month/ 12k warranty. So they gave me the number to chrysler road side assistance.. got the car towed to Freehold Chrysler in NJ to get the work done. Jeff from CHD calls me and says that THEY have to do the work because they gave me a goodwill discount (pay for labor not the parts).. so they said they have to do the work in cherry hill. Mind you.. the freehold chrysler is 10 minutes away from my job [i work in marlboro].. and CHD is 2 hours away from my job.. So they told me they would send a tow truck to pick the car up from Freehold Chrysler and have it towed to CHD. I asked if they are going to have the car towed back to EB for me.. they said no because it's costing them over 200 to get it towed from Freehold to Cherry Hill. So the car was dropped off on the 24th later in the day. I was told by Jeff and Mark that I could pick the car up on Friday the 26th that it was the battery they were putting a new one in and testing it out. I drive down on the 26th.. they changed the reason and said it was an electrical problem. I said when is it going to be fixed. Their answer, and I swear on my mother's grave.. "I DON'T KNOW"... so they set me up with a rent a car... they said saturday the car will be fixed... I called on saturday and they said they still don't know what is wrong with the car, the technician is looking at it. They call me back and said tuesday I can pick it up. I call on monday to confirm it, they told me they have to order a "brain" for the car and they havent ordered it yet. They said they would cover the rent a car. So finally on wednesday they call and said its fixed to come get it. I drive down on thursday to get my car.. normally they bring the car up to you.. they handed me the keys and i asked where it was.. and they said "I DON'T KNOW, GO OUTSIDE AND LOOK FOR IT." Amazing.... tons of customers are suing the dealership and the DEALERSHIP IS SUING ITS CUSTOMERS! Do you want to do business here. Something is wrong. Read the article below N.J. says car dealer cheated customers; The Cherry Hill Triplex chain denied the allegation, saying "complaints are inevitable" given its business volume. BYLINE: Troy Graham, Inquirer Staff Writer The Cherry Hill Triplex auto dealerships have famously advertised $8,000 guaranteed for trade-ins and no credit checks for customers. The state Attorney General's Office said those offers were too good to be true. The office and the state Division of Consumer Affairs on Monday sued Foulke Management Corp., owned by Charles W. Foulke Jr., for violating consumer regulations at the dealerships. Foulke does business as Cherry Hill Triplex, one of the region's most visible names in car sales. It operates Cherry Hill Dodge, Cherry Hill Jeep Eagle, Cherry Hill Kia, Cherry Hill Mitsubishi, and Mount Ephraim Chrysler/Dodge. The complaint, filed in state Superior Court in Camden, accuses the dealerships of "unconscionable consumer practices" such as failing to honor the $8,000 trade-in offer, failing to honor an advertised sale price, and not disclosing previous damage to a car. Division of Consumer Affairs officials said they had received more than 100 complaints from Triplex customers in the last two years. Foulke attorney Carmen Saginario said he believed the complaints spanned a "significantly longer period." Given the volume of Cherry Hill Triplex's business, he said, "mistakes and complaints are inevitable." "They've done everything they can to rectify any mistakes or address any complaints," he said. Saginario said Foulke "denied the allegations in the complaint." He said he could not offer a more specific defense. "They are very proud of the services and products provided to the consumers in South Jersey for many, many years," he said. "They are a staple in the South Jersey automobile industry." In a statement, Attorney General Zulima Farber said Cherry Hill Triplex conducted "a typical bait-and-switch operation." "We will not tolerate such deceptive practices," she said. In 2001, authorities said, Foulke agreed to pay a $40,000 fine and operate lawfully after the Division of Consumer Affairs began investigating other violations. "These car dealerships promised to take the high road in dealing with customers, but the volume of complaints we've received tell another story," division director Kimberly Ricketts said. Here's an update for those of you considering giving Cherry Hill Triplex your business. The dealership is SUING ME because I purchased metallic signs that said "cherryhilldodgesucks@yahoo.com" and "caution: don't buy Chrysler or Cherry Hill Dodge" and placed them on my vehicle! They are suing me for tortious interference in a business! I assume they want to pursue damages for any loss of business from the signs and enjoin me from being able to put the signs on my vehicles. What ever happened to my 1st Amendment Right to free speech???? I am not an attorney but am representing MYSELF against a rather large law firm the dealership has retained, Capehart and Scatchard. This case that is due to go in front of a jury in April of this year. They offered me a settlement that was basically a "gag order" in which I would agree not to say ANYTHING negative about the business. I did NOT sign this and am fighting for my right to speak out as a disgruntled consumer. I am fighting for you...for us....the stepped-on, poorly treated customer! Do you want to patronize a company that will sue a customer because he publically displayed his unhappiness with the dealership? I caution everyone to think not twice..but three times before walking into that dealerhip! One day while I was in court, there was another case in the court between Cherry Hill Triplex and a group of people suing this dealership for their advertising. In addition, I was contacted by another women who filed a complaint with the NJ Attorney General and said she has an arbitration hearing next week. What does this say about a business?
