I purchased a used 2020 Ford Fusion several weeks ago from this dealership. I have yet to receive my bill of sale, lender papers, and warranty papers. I have tried to contact the dealership and also the from this dealership. I have yet to receive my bill of sale, lender papers, and warranty papers. I have tried to contact the dealership and also the corporate office for 2 weeks and never get anyone to respond back to me at all. They talked me into a 5 year warranty that I have found out was not a warranty at all. They said it would be through Ford as a certified car but the bank that did the financing said it was service agreement thru this dealer which basically has no value at all. The salesman won't even answer my calls or text. I have left messages I was not paying the $2800.00 for a so called warranty. Now the bank is involved to recoop this 'additional' profit that I have stated I will not pay. No paperwork has been emailed or mailed to me yet. Buyer beware of the way this company operates. Now it has been 35 days and I just received a warranty card in the mail that states the name of the so called warranty company. After research I found out that this company is a scam with BBB review rating of 1.16 with 1.0 as the lowest score possible. I still have never received any kind of contract stating the coverages of this 'warranty' company. But according to all the reviews they don't cover anything and every review I read say it is a scam operation. So beware of how this dealership treats their customers. I was cheated out of several thousand dollars for a warranty that was not what I was told it would be. DO NOT buy any kind of warranty thru this dealership. They refuse to even respond to any request you might have concerning an extended warranty after you buy the vehicle and refuse to cancel it and refuse to even talk to you after you leave the dealership and they have your money. It has now been 3 months and I never got a refund for a cancelled warranty. The warranty company said they sent the refund to the dealer and the check was cashed 5 weeks ago by the dealer but the dealership never sent it to me or the bank. And of course the dealership won't respond to me concerning this. They just kept the money and I am out thousands of dollars. Buyer beware! More
The worst Service Department I have ever experienced. I recently called while on the road returning to Fort Walton Beach to report a severe transmission problem. The Service Department was kind enough to give me an appointment for a Friday morning at 0700. I waited until Saturday at noon to call and ask about my vehicle. The service Rep told me they are a little backed up and their transmission specialist could not even LOOK at it till Monday!!!!! I asked why I was not contacted to tell me and their reply was...oh, I texted you. SERIOUSLY...Texted me!!!??? I took my truck in before, to this same group, to have my parking sensors looked at. I was told that there were too many wires in my after-market bumpers to even try to look at my sensor problem...TOO MANY WIRES! Another time (recently) I took my truck in to have some dash parts replaced and when I received the vehicle back, my horn was not working. When I had a separate vendor look at my horn, it was discovered that the wires were replaced backwards! To make matters worse...EVERY time I call and set a service appointment...I am hounded by the Sales Department wanting to talk to me about what vehicle I was looking for to purchase. I have had this happen four (4) times and when I respond to tell them I am only working with service and I have no interest in a new vehicle; I am told that they will make a note and not call me again. Yet EVERY time I contact service, my phone is blown up by them asking about my new car interest and could they please text me!!! I have learned that scheduled appointments for service does NOT mean your vehicle will be looked at that day, or even that week. This is unacceptable and amateurish. I would NOT recommend Step One to any of my friends or business colleagues. More
Took my car in for repairs in sept 2022 and it was my until weeks later when I went for air filter change at another facility did I find out the service sept DID NOT put my engine coverage back on my car until weeks later when I went for air filter change at another facility did I find out the service sept DID NOT put my engine coverage back on my car!! Which I called the dealership back and was told they had to order one. As of today 11.30.2022 I still don’t have it. Told on back order since Sept 2022. Moral of this story I would have never known they did not put back on my car!! If you go here and I would recommend not, check under the hood of your car!! I also request a supervisor call me back twice and as of today 11.30.2022 no call back! More
The salesman (Wayne) was ok, but the dude Eric was an obnoxious xxx! He had no idea what he was doing, but when he was done, I found out (from the DMV) that I was still being shown as the owner of the ca obnoxious xxx! He had no idea what he was doing, but when he was done, I found out (from the DMV) that I was still being shown as the owner of the car that I traded in with my DV tags, my license was being suspended because I didn't have insurance on the care that I traded in, and the tag that Eric put on the new vehicle didn't match the VIN making it an illegal registration. And to top it all off, Eric charged me $350 to screw me over! Now I've been trying to get hold of someone in the dealership to get my money back, but it seems that nobody can help me. It took me 2 days at the DMV to get everything straight and unsuspend my license, and nobody at the dealership will respond to me. Vehicle was available at price listed on website. Our trade in was fairly valued after negotiation and since we had a preapproved loan through our credit union, financing was easily resolved. Vehicle we purchased is still in factory bumper to bumper warranty for approximately 1 year or 16000 miles and powertrain warranty for approximately 3 years of 40000 miles. Additional surprise items that were added to the bill of sale after an agreed upon price such as Perma Plate and Theft Recovery were removed at our request. Be sure to review completed itemized bill of sale before signing it. Since we did not finance through the dealership, we cannot address this item. More
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PLACE FOR SERVICE! ! On 18 May 2022 I scheduled a appointment for Wednesday 24 May 2022 for 8am to have a basic Transmission service. I called at 11am to get a update only to find out it hasn’t been looked at but that they will get it in the shop soon. I called back at 6pm for a update only to find out it would be Thursday morning before they could service it. Thursday morning around 9am I called to see what’s going on only to find out they are a little backed up but they would get it in to the shop very soon. By 6pm Thursday evening I called to get a update only to find out that they can’t get to my vehicle until Friday morning. By this point I getting upset as I’m out of work and don’t have a vehicle and nothing is happening. I called Friday 27 May 2022 at 9am and guess what? They still haven’t looked at my vehicle. At this point I’m beyond pissed and told them not to touch my vehicle as I’m taking it to a place that honors a scheduled appointment date and time. I picked up my vehicle today and will NEVER go there again!!! What a bunch of incompetent people. Stay away from this place!!!!!! More
