The sales person, Jeremy Matula, is the most courteous, helpful, and patient car salesman that I've encountered. Although the GTI appealed to me, I was hesitant about the purchase since I've never owned a VW and I've been very satisfied with the Hondas that I've owned. To be honest, I really didn't need a car. The decision to buy the GTI took me several months. During this time, Jeremy was responsive to my email requests for information about the car, options, and accessories; but, he did not pressure me. We drove the GTI three different times and also considered the TDI. Ultimately, I chose the GTI for the "fun-factor". I find it difficult to know what a fair price is to pay for a new car. During negotiations, I consulted some on-line resources and called other dealers. Based on my research, I believe that F-C VW sold me the GTI at a very good price. F-C VW located the GTI in the color that I wanted and delivery went smoothly. I was not rushed. Jeremy took time to go over the car with me and walk me through the electronics. He has since followed-up on additional questions regarding accessories. Throughout the process, my experience with other F-C VW staff ranged from "neutral" to "good". Jeremy Matula was one of the most knowledgeable salesman we ever encountered. His friendly demeanor while explaining all the aspects of the Jetta kept the experience enjoyable. The dealership matched a very aggressive quote from another dealer. We are confident we got the best deal we could. Jeremy was the reason we returned to Faulkner to purchase the Jetta. Because the Jetta was a graduation gift for our daughter, we did not take it from the dealership on the day of purchase. We were assured of the car's safety until we decided to give it to our daughter. We believe Jeremy was just as excited see our daughter's reaction when we gave her the car as we were. We surprised her on a Saturday eveining and Jeremy graciously agreed to give our daughter the orientation explanation on a Sunday,his day off. The service is beyond compare! We were ultimately turned away by their unwillingness to negotiate a fair deal with us in a timely manner. After about giving up, we came across the Faulkner Ciocca VW of Allentown website and learned that they had the car we wanted on their lot. Faulkner Ciocca VW of Allentown, PA was unlike any of the other dealerships we'd encountered. We were easily able to negotiate a reasonable deal with Tina Collins, all via e-mail, no less, within a matter of minutes. Talk about excellent, hassle-free customer service! She was really great! She gave me a quote on my trade-in without having even seen the car (I provided the vin #). It was completely hassle-free and that's how it should be if they want repeat and word-of-mouth business. So upon receiving the quote via e-mail, we went in person the following Saturday and purchased the car for the price they quoted us via e-mail and they even gave us an additional $250 off for my trade-in. Jason Yost helped us with the sale. He was very friendly, extremely helpful and I highly recommend him. No bait and switch, high-pressure techniques or haggling back and forth for weeks. To top it off, the people there are really friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're completely satisfied--what more could you ask for?
