Classic Mazda Like many people, I love car shows and Classic Mazda Like many people, I love car shows and test drives but hate going through the 4 hour dealer orchestrated sales gauntlet to actual Classic Mazda Like many people, I love car shows and test drives but hate going through the 4 hour dealer orchestrated sales gauntlet to actually buy one. Necessity recently brought me to the Orlando car market. I've kept up with the current best models and eliminated Camrays, Accords and GMs sedans. That left Sonata and Mazda6 as starting points. I rented a Sonata and was disappointed with its wandering front-end and intrusive console but really liked the looks and engine. Classic Mazda was my nearest dealer and seemed a good next step. Sam Moreno, the non-comissioned Consultant, let me test drive several models without rushing to move me inside to start closing. I liked the handling and more substantial feel of the Mazda6 and that it almost looked as good as the Sonata. Now came the next step: what would the car cost us? Cleverly, Classic Mazda had a large sign on the window with a real price. They called it "Buy Smart Price" but instead of the MSRP with a bunch of questionable additional charges like most dealers it was MSRP with a healthy discount resulting in a price a buyer could feel good about. He confirmed it was the real price, but I had my doubts. We checked several other dealers but none would quote a real price without the negotiation gauntlet. I went back to Sam, who came in on his day off and told him I was ready to see a final price. He did turn me over to the finance guy, but only to check my credit and paper work. I left in less than 2 hours after we started with the car I wanted at the price I expected. What a novel way to sell a car! More
Customer service extremly rude. dissatified with previous conversations with this individual (Kathy) I hope that this person has a better day, and finds new methods of dealing with their personal problems at conversations with this individual (Kathy) I hope that this person has a better day, and finds new methods of dealing with their personal problems at the work place. The new way Classic Mazda does business is a breathe of fresh air in this current economy. Within the first 5 minutes of walking into the dealership David showed us our best price upfront. No going back an fresh air in this current economy. Within the first 5 minutes of walking into the dealership David showed us our best price upfront. No going back and forth games like the other Mazda dealerships. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others. Zoom Zoom! More
Truth be told, I came here because it was close to my house. I did not read reviews before deciding to stop by, it was solely because of location. Each and every employee who greeted me were very appro house. I did not read reviews before deciding to stop by, it was solely because of location. Each and every employee who greeted me were very approachable and friendly and very up front and honest about the pricing philosophy. Ted, although new to this dealership, was very helpful and answered any questions I had regarding the Mazda 3. I enjoyed his calm nature and relaxed attitude. I did not originally intend to trade my car in on the purchase, but I could not have been any happier with the offer they made me on a 2002 eclipse with 140,000 miles. It was so good that I could not pass up the deal on the new Mazda 3 hatchback. I bought the car late Friday night and was the last customer in the store and although they were eager to go home for the day, I never felt like they were trying to rush me out the door. Betsey who handled the paperwork and final pricing on the vehicle I purchased was extrememly nice and helpful and patient. Tom who handled my trade-in appraisel was very honest and very enjoyable to talk with. If the dealership is able to adopt some of his car buying philosophy, its rating shoud go way up. Thanks also to Chad for pitching in and helping with some of the details. It is hard to explain car buying as a fun experience, but I truly had a good time with this one and if the Mazda 3 turns out to be as good a car as the deal I got, I will definitely return to this dealership and these individuals for their business again. Only reason I come here is following my former forman tech who transfered to this dealership. Have purchased 4 Mazdas in the past and only this master tech is the only one to work on them and keep them tech who transfered to this dealership. Have purchased 4 Mazdas in the past and only this master tech is the only one to work on them and keep them in perfect condition!! The service writers on every occassion were short, snippy and not very well adept at policies, pricing, or customer satisfaction. Work orders were generated for things I did not ask for and "hidden" prices for "record keeping" ie vehicle histories on my autos were charged to my bill. These were corrected only when I examined and complained about them. Mistakes on discounts were common place and broken out so that only a CPA could figure out how they arrived at the price. Overall cleanliness is a joke at this dealership. I only come back because of the quality work my tech performs and always by appointment so he is the only one working on my vehicle. We came by to test drive the Mazda 5 on a rainy day. The female sales person seemed put out from the start with a unfriendly attitude. She did not want to pull the vehicle to the front because it would be female sales person seemed put out from the start with a unfriendly attitude. She did not want to pull the vehicle to the front because it would be a hassle. So I had to walk with her in the rain as she said, "I sure hope you buy a vehicle from me, after all this". I politely said my goodbye to her and went inside to tell the manager I would never be doing business with this dealership in my lifetime. Please read my review on Sport Mazda, it was a great experience. More
This was a very painless experience. I let the dealership know what I was looking for and the price I could pay. After a no hassle transaction, we left with an '08 Mazda5 Sport for $17,900 and the trade of a know what I was looking for and the price I could pay. After a no hassle transaction, we left with an '08 Mazda5 Sport for $17,900 and the trade of a '96 Explorer which covered all taxes, tags, title and dealer fee. Everyone from Chad to Daniel to Chris was friendly and easy to work with. I had also e-mailed Cory Fairbanks Mazda, told them the max I could payand they responded with an offer of nearly $500 more than Classic and told me we were "very close; only about $300 apart". I guess math is not their strong suit. I recommend Classic if you value your time and want to skip the hassle. More
The guys at Classic are true professionals. We shopped around listened to all the BS from salesmen, their managers and the managers' managers and went back to Classic. Rather than hideing, like at other around listened to all the BS from salesmen, their managers and the managers' managers and went back to Classic. Rather than hideing, like at other dealerships, the managers desk is right by the front door! How refreshing! They also actually stocked what was in their ad, at the price they advertised it at, I bought one; an '07 CX-9 and love it! More
I stopped in with my family to look at the Mazda3. David told me I would get a better deal on the 2006 (vs. the 2007) because he could play with the price more. He showed me the only 2006 Mazda3 he had, wh told me I would get a better deal on the 2006 (vs. the 2007) because he could play with the price more. He showed me the only 2006 Mazda3 he had, which included the Touring package upgrades (power everything, side airbags/curtains, etc). After getting "the best numbers he could" at $17,900, we determined it was out of my price range and I needed to stay under $15k. I went to Cory Fairbanks with my price limitations and they gave me the 2007 Mazda3 with the Touring package upgrades for $14,500. While Classic Mazda has less of a negative reputation than Cory Fairbanks, I feel that they were greedy and not willing to be more competitive with pricing. More
