Don’t take you vehicle here for service unless you have a lot of time to waste..they insist you make an appointment yet don’t honor it…tried twice to get a simple oil change, made an online appointment, arri lot of time to waste..they insist you make an appointment yet don’t honor it…tried twice to get a simple oil change, made an online appointment, arrived 5 minutes early and both times was told it would be at least an hour wait and then it would take about an hour to change the oil. An HOUR? Went to another dealer without an appointment and got in and all the work done I less then 45 minutes. More
I came to Corwin Honda to get a new auto start fob because that is where I purchased my Honda CR-V. Jesse Butler is the person with whom I spoke on the phone and in person at the dealership. He was because that is where I purchased my Honda CR-V. Jesse Butler is the person with whom I spoke on the phone and in person at the dealership. He was very courteous, respectful, personable and resourceful. He informed me that they didn't carry the brand of car starter fob that I was looking for but that didn't end there. He quickly went to his computer and found someone in Fargo who did and wrote down the information for me ! Now THAT'S the way we do things in North Dakota. Good for you Corwin Honda for having an employee of this stature. Thanks again Jesse, you are quite the business card for Corwin Honda. More
Talked with Adam who sent me over to the parts department to talk with Jesse about my issue, I explained to him what the problem was, had them take a look at it. Terrible service....went in for oil change. Asked about a fun sound with my starter...was told I needed a new starter for $900. Bought a car from here a few months ago and have had nothing but issues with this dealership. Nice Dealership and Service...but not happy with costs I had a new camshaft put into my 2011 Acura with 162,000 miles..I love the car and have been very diligent about regular maintenance. What I liked wa I had a new camshaft put into my 2011 Acura with 162,000 miles..I love the car and have been very diligent about regular maintenance. What I liked was my service rep Victor and the waiting area. Very clean, professional and Victor was great to work with. What I didn't like was that I spent $2,800 dollars for the first visit and had to come back for valve adjustments and pay another $300. Valve adjustments should be part of a normal cam installment given it's quite normal from my research. The lack of accurate valve adjustments set off a Christmas tree of warning lights and actually made me worry quite a bit. Still haven't put on that many miles, but I worry about the overall quality of the work given valve adjustments are pretty easy for someone who knows what they are doing and my expectation is that Honda mechanics get great training. I have a warranty and will change the oil a few extra times given new parts can create some extra junk. I'm not a mechanic, but I felt a little taken advantage of and worry about the quality of work given I would like to put another 100,000 miles on. More
