My Review of Curry Honda:
I went to Curry because I wanted to buy a new civic from a local dealer. I got price quotes from several dealers in the area and curry's was the best. So I went down there to test-drive and talk to a salesman about purchasing the car. I went there early in the morning, before they opened, and saw that they had about 4 or 5 of the EX model I was interested in. So after lunch, I went down there to test drive the car. I called the sales manager before I went down to so they would have a car ready for me. I planned to use the CARS program to purchase the car. When I got there, the car was ready and the manager let me take it out without a salesman because I was from the area. After the test drive, I told him that I was ready to purchase the car. I had previously test drove another civic at another dealer but didn’t buy. I got the price that I wanted and after I signed the paperwork, saying that I would purchase the car, I was told that I needed to wait for the cash for clunkers budget to get extended before I could get the car. So last week the extra 2 billion was added and I called my sales man the next day to ask when the car would be ready. Obviously, I couldn’t get through to him and left a message for him to call me back. When he called back, he left me a voicemail saying that the bill hadn’t gone though yet and that the senate wasn’t going to vote on it for a week or two. So I called him back and told him that it had passed and that the president had signed it so the extra 2 billion was there. The salesman acted surprised and told me that he couldn’t deliver any cars until they got the money from the government. He told me that it could take a week or two for them to get the money. He also said that he needed to wait for the GMs ok to deliver the car. This is all a bunch of BS. I brought all of my paperwork to the dealer the day I test drove and signed the purchasing agreement. They were not aggressive in anyway during the sale but I was upset and still upset that I was not able to drive the new civic off the lot the day I bought it. It has been over a week since I signed the agreement and still no word on when I can pick up the car. If anyone plans to buy a car though the CARS program, I would seriously consider asking the dealer how long it will take before you can drive the car home. That means you probably would want to go to a “bigger” dealer who might have the money to give you up front.

My Review of Curry Honda:
Came in looking for a car and wanted to take advantage of the "cash for clunkers" program. found out my car didnt qualify for that program and was basicly thrown out of the dealership because I have poor credit and there were other people there who were in a better position than me. I was very offended and feel that I was treated poorly because my credit wasnt as good as this dealer would have liked. I went to another honda dealer 5 miles away in west springfield and got a car that day. I wonder how many other customers have been treated this way!!!!

My Review of Curry Honda:
My husband and I had a very enjoyable and productive buying experience at Curry. We both know a number of individuals who have purchased Hondas at Curry and had really good things to say about the process. We went to purchase a car for my husband, who hates shopping for a new car. Our saleman, Guido, made the process very easy and comfortable for my husband - no pressure and Guido was very congenial. While we were purchasing that car, another one caught my eye. When we went back to pick up my husband's car, I ended up talking to the general manager about the second car, and frankly, he offered me a price I couldn't refuse. Everyone we dealt with, including the business manager, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. I returned to Curry for my inspection sticker. The service department, especially Joe, couldn't have been nicer and more attentive. And I would have to say the same about the parts department, when I returned to purchase an accessory item (with the help of another salesman, Will).

My Review of Curry Honda:
I went to this dealership (what a dump) the parkinglot was a mess building was falling apart so my fist impression was horrible. Then I was greeted by a very nice man named Will. He asked me to come inside and tell him what I was looking for and he would take notes over a cup of coffee. We did all that and then he pulled up the exact car I was looking for. I fell in love with the car and wanted to buy from Will. We came back inside and spoke about price and I wanted a brochure and wanted to think about it because I never buy on the fist day. Will was very nice and said ok thanks for coming in and that he wanted his manager to say hi because it would be another face that would be farmiliar to me if he was not in. I was then itroduced his boss(you know the one that you see on tv all the time in his stupid commercials with his fake attitude and stupid smile). His name was Don Corinna so now he sat down and began interogating me. I told him that I was just out looking today and need a night to think, he said he didnt blame me he does the same thing but then takes me into his office and takes out a marker and started crossing out everything on the paper and offering me better prices far better than what had been originally offered he says I am the owner and operator of the dealership no one can over rule my price and I dont have to ask anybodys permission on the price. I said ok well I appreciate the better price but I need to think about it. Then he said he had a couple extra visa cards from a promotion that he ran and if I bought the car today he would give me a free oil change and a couple hundred dollard in visa cards. Talk about pressure. I told him again for the 4th time that I appreciate his offer but need to think and he finally let me go. Will was very nice and helpful but his boss ruined this sale because of the pressure I took their price and bought it at another dealer. Will called me every single day looking for my business (and I understand that). Maybe if Mr.Corinna stoped buying fancy suits for himself and paid his people better then they would stop harrassing possible customers. Overall the worst experience of my life.

My Review of Curry Honda:
I obtained a price quote over the internet. Although they had all my information from the emails, when we went in, a salesman started with us all over again, as if he only knew the internet was a great way to bring in suckers. As an internet buyer, I prefer an efficient transaction.

Also they advertised that they offered 120% of Kelley Blue Book on a trade. They confirmed this over the phone, but the actual trade offer was substantially less than Kelley.

I asked for my key back, and the salesman started to give me the old, "let me talk to my manager" routine. The scene was beginning to take an ugly turn, but the manager diffused the situation by bringing me my key.

I won't be back, no matter what they advertise.

My Review of Curry Honda:
Brett was upfront and engaging. The normal salesman BS was kept to a minimum and our needs and requests were addressed timely and professionally. He and the Curry team exceeded our expectations. He made my wife, who hates the new car purchase process, feel special and helped her t feel that she was a crucial part of the transaction.

While I did'nt end up buying here, it was worth the trip. I was treated professionally by the sales staff, was only there for a short time, and felt no pressure to buy.

I would have bought at this dealer if we could have come to a better price. I sense that future customers will enjoy their purchase from this dealer.
