"Great experience"

We entered the dealership @ 8:40pm on a Saturday night and was greeted with a smile. After an hour of negotiating, we agreed on a price. All the staff couldn't have been more professional, friendly and kind. I felt right at home. We left DARCARS Toyota of Frederick at 11 p.m. with our new 4Runner. The staff didn't complain at all for having to stay over 2 hours past closing time. Their positive attitude made a difference and we appreciated it. Ghenna Orlov was the friendliest salesperson ever. "TRULY Exceptional!"

After 2 weeks of being frustrated by salesmen from two local Baltimore Toyota dealerships and about to settle for a Sienna that was not my preferred color, my boss recommended that I contact Joe Newman at DARCARS Frederick, from whom she had bought her car and had a positive experience. I had one phone conversation with Joe, gave him the details regarding my preferred Sienna, and within 24 hours I was driving home in my new van! There were no surprises, no hassle, and I even joked about being disappointed by the lack of drama. Joe delivered me the van I wanted, in the color I wanted, and at the price we agreed upon in our first phone call. He even had to drive to another state to get it, and did not pass on any of that expense to me. We could not be more pleased, and would highly recommend DARCARS Frederick, specifically Joe Newman, to anyone looking to buy a Toyota. It is worth the drive to Frederick to have such a pleasant experience. Thanks, Joe! :-)

"MADE OUR GRADUATION SURPRISE HAPPEN !!"

Our only child (daughter) was graduating high school this year, in the top 10 of her class, in the honors program and accepted to JMU this fall. We had a dream of surprising her at graduation with the truck of her dreams (a black toyota tacoma). We had previously purchased a truck from DACARS of Frederick and decided to go back. We met with James Welch and told him the exact truck we were looking for. He found one almost 250 miles away and got it to the dealership for us. We then worked with Joe Newman to finalize the deal. Everything went very well and we signed the papers. Now the BIG PROBLEM.......how do we hide this for a week until graduation ??? Jim allowed us to keep the truck at the dealership and then on a SUNDAY, Joe Newman and Jim Welch DELIVERED the truck to us along with a giant red bow to place on the hood!! Graduation day arrived and we arranged to have a friend take the truck to the graduation ceremony and remove the old vehicle. Needless to say our daughter was surprised beyond words. Joe Newman and Jim Welch went out of their way and came in on their day off in order to make our dreams come true! They went above and beyond when it comes to customer service! At a later time, Joe went over the truck with our daughter explaining all the features of her new vehicle. Thanks again Joe and Jim....you haven't seen the last of us ! Jen & Bill

"Best customer service around for MD and PA"

Will is without a doubt the best salesperson I ever dealt with. He was professional yet down to earth and made you feel comfortable. I cant think of going anywhere else for future purchases other than Will. Thank you to the entire team/staff that helped us out. They were also very polite and professional. If your looking for a new or used car go see Will Ryan and his team. They'll make it happen and make you feel more like a friend than a number.

"Building a relationship VS. just selling a car"

Working in customer service driven industries for 8+ years I have high expectations where ever I go to receive great customer service. I went to 2 other dealers before coming to DarCars Toyota and, to keep it short, the experiences were terrible. I walked into DarCars Toyota within an hour of closing which I always try to avoid and felt awful doing but was immediately welcomed by Kent. He asked what I was looking for and I explained what I was looking for and price range I wanted to stay around; before I started he asked if he could take notes, I agreed, and throughout the explanation he wrote down all the pertinent information. This was great! Over the next 3 days working with Kent I did not have to repeat what I was looking for or the price range because he had everything written down or in memory. Kent was very informative, open and honest and, in my opinion, he really looked out for our best interests. This was the first new car that my wife or I had bought and the experience could not have gone better. Origionally, we had planned to purchase 1 new and 1 used car but we decided to just get 1 new car for the time being and drive our other car until it dies. When the other car does dies there is only one person that I will go see--> Kent. I encourage anyone who is in the market for a car and wants a good buying experience to go to DarCars Toyota and speak to Kent. ~Jake

"Very pleasant to work with"

I purchased the car in Feb, and today was my first service appointment. I called in, and easily scheduled the appointment for an open time when it was convenient for me. The service associate was pleasant -- apologized for making me wait (perhaps two minutes!) because he had been drawn into a meeting. It really was a relaxed and happy environment. Its hard to know about the quality of service work, as this was mostly a "check and fill fluids" kind of service (although they emailed me a pdf of the report after completion, which is kind of cool.) The only negative thing I can come up with is that they don't seem to know the latest on my particular vehicle brand (a plug-in prius, which is new.) At the time of the sale, I'd asked if they could reset the backup beeper to beep once instead of continuous, and the sales person and his manager hadn't heard of such a thing. [I reset it myself after about a month, the thing was driving me crazy. It was a simple, $12 OBD connector.] Today, I was asking about the Safety Connect Contract ID (I'd like to make use of the service that sends an email when charge is complete) and not only did the service associate not know about it, three other guys he roped in weren't aware of it. The last took my email address, and promised to find out, so will see how that goes. But then, I suspect they don't sell a lot of plug-in's, so perhaps that isn't surprising. Very much recommend the dealer. They treated me very well on the initial price, and I look forward to keeping them for service.

"So happy!"

I leased a new Hybrid Camry last Friday from Frederick DARCARS. The entire experience was a great one. Jason Waltrup and Dennis Dawson were both wonderful to work with. Jason was considerate about my budget and helped me get the most car for the money. He was prompt and courteous with all of my emails. The car I was interested in was waiting for me out front when I arrived at the dealership for the first time. Dennis was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to me. I had a lot of questions about the hybrid, and he was able to answer them with confidence and in a friendly manner. I really felt that the Frederick DARCARS team had my best interest in mind at all times. I have been a Honda person in the past, but I think I have turned over a new leaf. The Camry is wonderful! I am so happy and am enjoying driving it a lot! 5 stars for this dealership!

What I did appreciate the most was honesty. Joe did explain to me all the "good" and the "bad" I will have by selecting one type of car compare to another one. Finally, I make the perfect choice that match with my life style and everything. Very good advice. He did direct me where is good for him but where is good for me.
