Hi James, This is Lou, I remember the interaction with you as if it was yesterday. You signed a non-refundable agreement to take the car off the market for 5 DAYS while you secure your own financing because you didn't like the finance terms we were able to secure for you despite our advice not to do so until you secure a loan first, you insisted on leaving a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT that holds the car for 5 DAYS ONLY. I have a copy of your paper work unfortunately this plat form doesn't allow me to upload a copy of it so you can remember what happened a year ago just in case your memory is hazy. We kept the vehicle off the market longer then we agreed on initially to give you more time to find a different financial institution that would loan you the money which you were unsuccessful to do so. 10 Days after you left the deposit and you couldn't find different finance terms than what we were able to secure for you which you still refused with your limited credit, as customer courtesy and to help you out I offered you a $500 credit towards a different vehicle but you didn't accept it, which went out the window the minute you came in and went around the office telling customers that we were thieves among a lot of other things, and costed us multiple sales. At which point you were asked to leave the premises immediately. We went above and beyond what we agreed on.

I sure did go around the office and told the people there that Dallas Auto Direct was acting fraudulently. I did not use the term "thieves". I also told them that you (Lou) refused to return my deposit even though it was added as a contingent to the contract. I even remember you threatening to call the police on me. Your memory is not as good as you claim. You most certainly did not go above and beyond. This is a bald face "alternative fact". Your customer service is lousy, your business ethics are sub-par, and you personally were very unprofessional and dishonorable by not abiding by the initialed agreement on the second page of of the contract. "We Owe" "- refundable deposit contagent [sic] to any major mechanical problem - needs financing from us to go through (initialed here) " Jay was the "sales" person that wrote this and took it to the back office for the initial. Dated 31 Jan 18. You sold the car out from under me, while I was working with your financial manager. You did not bother giving me a courtesy call. Jay would not return calls. I learned of this when I came back in. I would also remind you that the car had a broken water pump from the day I first saw it. I was told by Jay that this would be fixed. It never was. I was never offered the opportunity to test drive the vehicle during the entire process because it was still in your maintenance department I still hold by my recommendation that no one should do business with you or Dallas Autos Direct. Check out the BBB reviews and the negative reviews on DealerRater.com. Caveat Emptor. TXDMV Consumer Complaints will handle this matter from now. Happy anniversary. Today marks one year where you stole $500 from me.

We can go back and forth all day it's not going to change what happened, if your false accusation were true you wouldn’t have waited a year to bring this up. Like I said you placed a non-refundable deposit that was good for 5 days only. We had a loan secured for you but you didn’t like the terms, you wanted to take it to your own bank which you were unsuccessful with (the contingency was met but you declined it). We waited 10 days before we sold the vehicle to someone else at which point, I offered you a $500 credit towards another vehicle of your choice but instead of accepting my offer you came in slandering me and the business causing us to lose on pending deals that we were closing that day. I did go above and beyond and since. 1. we secured you a loan (which you declined) 2. we held the car for 10 days (not the agreed on 5 days - that's TWICE the agreed-on time frame) 3. Offered you $500 credit towards a different vehicle (even though it was non-refundable)

Lou: In response to your answers: There is no slander. Your accusation is offensive. I am stating the truth as documented. I did go above and beyond and since. 1. we secured you a loan (which you declined) - Abjectly false. If you had provided the loan, I would have received a call back from your finance manager. I have the call records and attempts to contact him through SMS messaging. 2. we held the car for 10 days (not the agreed on 5 days - that's TWICE the agreed-on time frame) - You still fail to acknowledge that your dealership signed a contract that would refund my deposit. financing was not obtained. If, as you stated had obtained financing, we would not be where we are. 3. Offered you $500 credit towards a different vehicle (even though it was non-refundable). Not true. You told me to get my attorney to call you in order to have my money refunded. Sir, my accusations are not false, which is more than what I can say about responses, which are visible to eryone on DealereRater.com. Why did your dealership fail to respond to the BBB inquiry last year? Is that why Dallas Autos Direct has an F rating with them? fI had blown you people off as just poor business people until I found out how to file a complaint with the TXDMV. I then revisited this site to update others about my findings. If you were truly concerned, you would have responded to my first post back in Feb 18. You did not. I will not continue with this back and forth with you on this site. I will let the TXDMV Consumer Complaints department handle the matter. Good day.

In both the first and second responses to your messages I stated the same facts, but you didn't deny what I stated until the second time around, so again please stop with the slander and false accusations. This will be my last response to you there is no reason for me to constantly repeat myself. We get thousands of customers a year, and the truth of the matter is that, we are all different, look different, have different beliefs, values, lives, thoughts and emotions. We are all unique in our own ways, and since we are all unique, oftentimes we consider ourselves right and everyone around us wrong. Because of that it’s impossible to please everyone that walks thru our front door. I’m sorry that you feel like you were done wrong, we truly did everything agreed on and everything we could to help you out. Yet you preferred to lash out and go around the office slandering us and costing us to lose business.

12 Feb 19 Lou, This is my last response to you. There is no slander or false accusations when it is the truth. You may get thousands of customers each year (your claim), yet you still maintain an F with the BBB. You never responded to that fact. Please do not forget that I have copies of the contract to include Dallas Autos Direct initials on the included contingency clause. You definitely cannot please anyone where you cheat your potential customers out of their deposit. I still have the many call logs and text messages between me, Jay, and your finance manager that went unreturned prior to you selling the car out from under me while under a contract. You will be able to address this issue directly with the Consumer Protection division with the TXDMV. There is no slander when the truth is being spoken. Go check the legal definition and quit trying to cover up your poor business practices. 1) You never explained why you didn't respond to my first negative post on DealerRater over a year ago. 2) You never explained why you never responded to the BBB inquiry as to this matter. 3) You never explained the F rating Dallas Autos Direct has with the BBB. 4) You falsely claimed you provided financing for me and I declined. You will have the opportunity to provide this evidence to TXDMV. I have the letter from the lender where it explicitly states I was not approved. Done with you. I will let the State of Texas deal with you and your business practices.
