Wandered the car lot for about 10 minutes today trying to see inside dimensions, pricing and overall car details in person. We were not spoken to or acknowledged- even though four employees were outside - tw see inside dimensions, pricing and overall car details in person. We were not spoken to or acknowledged- even though four employees were outside - two were glued to their cell phones! All cars were locked and no pricing was posted. Hard to make any decisions when there is no information available from humans or in print. Figured the owner or sales manager would want to know what is going on when they’re not looking. If even one would have said… Hello, I’ll be with you in a few minutes or I’ll call someone to help you… we would have stayed a bit longer. Very disappointed. Customer service and printed information needs to be much improved! More
Really awful, worst repair experience ever, and this was a VERY simple repair. Took WEEKS, including ordering the wrong part, not getting it done when promised, not returning calls. New update, Took my 2nd Toyota Tacoma from my 2nd son for a recall ( frame treatment) to Dan Cava. I ask them to check the front end due to a noise I heard driving to the dealership. I was told by the lady that answered the phone " since you turned in a review of my concerns with the Mr Cavas policies and your review stated you were upset with the policies we can not work on your vehicles ". At that point I ask to speak with the Manager after waiting 2 hours for her to call me I finally called in and spoke with her. She repeated the same situation as above " Since you you wrote reviews that were negative why would you want us to work on your vehicle " I thought a 2nd chance with Dan Cava might be a option and I was wrong. I ask Kerry So will you look at the truck and she said NO . So again Dan Cava Toyota has tarnished the brand beyond my imagination. More
I will never take my care to Dan Cava again. I took it to have fix a warranty. I’ve had nothing but problems since. They also said they fixed an axel. For just the cost of the part. The second time I took it back The man (Todd) called me and said we think it’s the transmission something we did and giggle.. They also said they took it to 2 Transmission specialist.They said it’s the transmission a ring in it going bad. It sounds worse than wen I took it to them the first time.It’s funny that it went bad after they supposedly fixed it. They made smart jokes about it to. Sad they treat there customers like that.I do have to say they did give me a car to drive for this. More
Great Service and Sales My spouse introduced me to this Toyota dealership over 35 years ago when it was under the old ownership. Have had the best service and warranty work ever. The great thing about this dealer is that if they mess up, they pay. Years ago I had taken my Corolla in for regular maintenance. I never noticed that my inspection sticker had died. I got a ticket. On my trip to get the inspection done, they looked up when I had my last maintenance done. It was right at the time my inspection was due to run out. They deducted the cost of my ticket from my maintenance and inspection bill!! The sales staff is great. They always talk to us and make us feel at home. Even my dogs have been welcome there. Hairy, Max and now Miss Red are always greeted and petted. I have never had to have anything done to my Toyotas other than routine maintenance, warrenty work and normal wear & tear work. Love this dealership and my Toyotas!! More

Defective rear Tacoma axle. I lease a truck with a factory installed bent rear axle. When I brought my truck back with the complaints of shaking and vibration, they constantly t I lease a truck with a factory installed bent rear axle. When I brought my truck back with the complaints of shaking and vibration, they constantly told me that they felt nothing wrong. They shaved rotors, sanded brake pads, etc. Even after several revisits to Cava's dealership. They said they could not feel any vibration. Not until I demanded a technician ride with me. He then admitted a problem. They must be trained to make the customer feel like they (the customer) are the problem. I researched on my own and discovered that Toyota had been installing defective axles. for several years now. When this was brought to their attention they admitted that I had a defective vehicle. I had asked to be placed in a safe, non defective lease. They would not even discuss it. They referred me to TOYOTA arbitration. The result was predictable. Toyota rep. said that they removed the bad axle and replaced the rear components with replacement parts and that was all that they had to do. I have had the truck back in Dan Cava's several time since to stop continued vibration with no results. More
Broke down in two days I purchased a car through their Bridgeport location, and was originally impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were willing to negotiate price and even stayed late to complete the paperwork. HOWEVER, the 2016 car I bought started having issues the first day I drove it, and wouldn't even start within a few days. After getting stranded and several failed attempts to get it serviced (they had trouble accessing the warranty they sold me), I was told the problem was likely a recalled part. I specifically asked the salesman about this recall and he said it had been taken care of, so quite concerning that they either 1) lied or 2) don't have up-to-date info on their own cars. After some forceful phone conversations, I got a free oil change to "compensate" me for the hassle. The service center at their White Hall location was easy to work with, but it took a week to get the car back and it was dirty with an empty gas tank. No one from Dan Cava’s customer service followed up with me, otherwise I would have been willing to negotiate for not giving them bad reviews. More
