My Review of Dave Walter BMW:
He kicked me out of the dealer when he did not want to argue.

I had the car in to change the headgasket. Before doing any work on the car i told Josh (service assistant) to keep me informed of anything else that would need to be done to the car. The cylinder heads were taken for the shop to be checked and turned out to be ok. Changed thermostat and water pump.

Now before changing all this a mechanic would check to see how the cylinder wall looks. We got the car back with a tapping noise which they said it would go away...it didn't so my father opens the car up..and removes and replaces the piston....now while the piston was out the cyl. wall was scratched. Today i went back to Dave Walter BMW and i was kicked out by the Service Manager because he thinks that the scratches were not there when their mechanic was working on it. This is a joke...i drove a merely maybe 400 miles with the car after i left their dealer before my dad opened it up...so there is no way that the scratch was done after they changed the headgasket...

Either way if I don't find a way to work this out with the Dave Walter Manager himself then I will be forced to go to the news and also sue the dealer.

My Review of Dave Walter BMW:
This dealership has really redeemed itself. My previous post showed a lot of dissapointment the Service Department. Repairs from the last visit have been good. I received a nice loaner BMW X3 Sport while a backordered part was installed. A recent trip won my affection again at Dave Walter BMW. Had a wonderful conversation with a salesman while my car was being serviced. Josh was as always, a pleasure to work with. (can't say that about Patty still) Am in the process of scheduling my next appointment for service at Dave Walter. I will NEVER return to my local dealership, Cain BMW for service.

My Review of Dave Walter BMW:
Had my 2002 530 in for a problem that two other local dealers could not repair, Keith had Jim diagnoise the problem in less than one hour and the car has been great eversense.

I will become a steady customer at Dave Walter and will buy my next BMW there.

Also the new building is Great!!!

My Review of Dave Walter BMW:
No longer offers loaner cars unless car was purchased there. Josh in service has been a pleasure to work with but Patty was lackluster in such a high-end dealership. Mis-communication left me making an unnecessary trip to the service department only to find my paperwork wasn't completed. Worked well with my warranty company but repairs were a little sloppy. Nicked my window switch console and door panel. Car is currently undergoing a major service as of now.

This is my local dealership. They have been exceptional in service and support throughout my experience. They worked well during the purchase process and each time I come in they are very helpful. All service is done promptly and is done well. I never have to worry about bringing my car into this dealership for service. I always know that everything will be taken care of when I bring it in. Great dealership run by great people.
