"never again"

Why make an apointment if you are going to sitin line for hours anyways. Some thing that they said would be an hour turned into an hour before they ever started on it. And this is my day off, which I dont get much time off. What's bad is I used to love, and tell everone how great this dealer was. We have baught our last 4 or 5 cars from there. So if it is first come first served then don't take appointments.

"Unable to fix problem"

I took my Jeep into the dealership to get an alignment and a key made. I asked what the total would be and they said 59.95 for the alignment and 49.95 for the key. They did not say anything about programming which was 120 some dollars! Didn't know that til I showed up to pick it up. Picked up my car and got half way home and realized that the alignment was much worse than it was when I came in. I took it in a second time and it still was not correct. I took it to a belle tire and it was made perfect.

"Lease of a new Jeep!"

Dick Huvaere's of Richmond was by far the best dealership I have ever worked with! They went out of their way to prepare our paperwork in advance in order to accommodate our busy lifestyle with a small child. Normally buying/leasing a vehicle has been stressful for me, but this time I would say it was an enjoyable experience. David Kerwin was great to work with- great at his job and very friendly- he will have us back in 3 years when our lease is up! Best prices around as well!

"My Pickup"

"air bag light on. engine light on"

Made an appointment to take my car in on Wednesday, Thursday evening I was told they needed to order a part. Friday evening I was told the part had not arrived, Monday late when I could get my car back. This is a big dealership, why do they not have loaners if your car is there for the weekend? Will not be taking my car there anymore.

"Disappointed"

First of all it took 3weeks for them to get my car scheduled after the claim was approved. Then what was supposed to be a 3-5 day fix turned into 2weeks. When I had an issue with the service dept. and insurance co. I tried to explain to the service person and she kept talking over me. Would not listen to what I had to say.

"Follow Up from Last/Final Repair - STILL NOT FIXED!"

Dick Huvaere's had my car for 12 days initially. I had written the review at that time after I got my Journey back and an hour later discovered it was leaking transmission fluid all over my driveway! Took it back immediately. They had it another 8 days.....20 days total. Fixed? NOPE!!! After confirming with the Service Manager that it was taken for a test drive and ran fine, I got no more than 2 miles from the dealership and started having the SAME issue as what I took it in for 20 days earlier!!! So annoying and frustrating!!! I will NEVER take another car to this dealership for repair or buy another one from them either!!! Just bought a new car from Ray Lathem in Grosse Pointe and had a WONDERFUL experience! They gave me the USAA discount that Dick Huvaere's said I couldn't get and even beat the best deal Huvaere could give me! They also gave me $1,500 more for my trade-in! RAY LATHEM is the ONLY "TrueCar" dealership in the area and can't be beat! Don't waste your time at Huvaere, call 313-886-1700 and save money and frustration.

"Repair of 2013 Chrysler Town & Country"

My last experience with getting this vehicle repaired lasted from 06/02/2014 until I picked the vehicle up on 08/01/2014. Yes, 61 days. Chrysler (FCA) was slow in sending help from Auburn Hills to assist in solving this most elusive electrical problem. This vehicle was brought in for service on 5 separate occasions for the same problem for a total of 86 days in the service garage. This does not include the 5 days the vehicle was in my garage getting the battery charged so I could start the car and drive it to the dealership. FCA was slow to respond to provide help to the dealership and is dragging their feet in responding to my MI Lemon Law lawsuit.

"12 days to fix my car - had to take it back an hour later!!!"

I have gone to this location for years. However, quality of service has gone downhill in the last 6 months for sure! I called a couple months ago for service on an issue I was having with my car. I was told by one of the service guys that whether I brought my car in two days or 30 days, they would not even get a chance to look at it for several days (my car would sit on the lot). Therefore, I went elsewhere for that issue since Huvaere's was simply too busy for my business. A couple months later, I HAD to take it to a dealership regarding a warranty issue. This transmission issue turned into them having my car for 12 days! Since this was a "Powertrain" warranty issue and the car has over 36,000 miles on it, there was no loaner car allowed. Mike did call me a couple times to update me on parts they were waiting on or parts they received. However, we had to initiate the final call to find out my car was actually done and waiting for pick up! 1st time we called, we were put on hold for 20 minutes! No exaggeration!!! 2nd time we called, the phone just rang and rang and rang. Ironically about a minute after hanging up, they called us back (hmmm...perhaps caller ID?) to let us know the car was ready. We got the car home, re-installed my son's car sear and DVD system and then my husband noticed that the car was leaking transmission fluid all over the driveway!!! Seriously!? Needless to say, we had to take the car back. Not happy!
