I agree with other reviews that say stay away from Eastern Shore Toyota. My husband and I went to look at a used Toyota Rav4 that was advertised. It didn't have all the features we required so asked Eastern Shore Toyota. My husband and I went to look at a used Toyota Rav4 that was advertised. It didn't have all the features we required so asked if there were others we could look at. We were shown and test drove a 2019 Honda CR-V that we fell in love with. I had asked if that Toyota we looked at was certified and was told yes. I guess I assumed (to my dismay) that the young man we were dealing with knew I would want a certified vehicle. I guess we were too enthusiastic so the dealership did not come down at all from the price. We decided to take it anyway because it had all the features we wanted and more. I kept asking our salesperson for the Carfax for the suv and he kept saying he was going to get it. He did not give it to us until after all the papers were signed. While I was signing and initialing all the papers the financial guy was quickly pushing at me, I noticed it read $4000.00 more than the suv was to cost after my trade in. I brought it to his attention and he said, oh, it's supposed to read $15,000, not $19,000, and blamed the government for charging 3 times the taxes it was supposed to. Certainly, a man who does this numerous times a day for many years would catch something like this. I unfortunately trusted this dealership to sell me a vehicle in working order. On our way home I found that the power mirror on the driver's side didn't work. I called the young man who sold us the car and told him the problem. He was all apologetic and said he would take care of it. Then I found that the visor didn't work properly either. Well, my husband reminded me that I had to sign a paper that said as is. So, I didn't expect the salesperson to pay for the repairs. But I did have questions so called this young man back. He wouldn't answer the phone and never called me back. I took it to the local Honda dealership to get the repairs looked at. On the way there, all the check engine lights and all the other feature lights lit up indicating problems with all of them. They found that the injectors had to be replaced to the tune of over $2000. It cost $180 for the visor. Having the mirror repaired would cost cost to $900 plus tax. I decided I couldn't pay that so just adjust it by hand. I do realize it was my stupidity in believing that I was dealing with a reputable company who would sell me a car I could expect to drive trouble free and just expect normal maintenance costs for awhile. I certainly have learned a lesson and at quite an expense. They took advantage of two older people who just wanted a reliable car that was high enough off the ground to get in and out of easily. My advice to others looking for a serviceable car and want to deal with people you can trust, DON'T GO TO EASTERN SHORE TOYOTA!!! This has been the worst car buying experience of my life! More

just nowNEW-Write a review My "Service Soon" light came on and Sams Club told me it was my battery. I had purchased by battery at Eastern Shore Toyota. So I took my car there. It was a 60 month True Sta on and Sams Club told me it was my battery. I had purchased by battery at Eastern Shore Toyota. So I took my car there. It was a 60 month True Start battery which was only 2-1/2 years old. I went directly to Eastern Shore Toyota and the Service Assistant checked it and told me that it was not my battery. He reset the light and told me it was probably from my oil change. The next day my car would not start and we had to call for roadside service. They jumped me off and followed me to a local service center. They checked my battery and alternator and told me it was my battery was bad. They replaced it and we are all good. However, I will never trust Eastern Shore Toyota. I had to pay $216 for a new 60 month battery which they would have replaced for less than half that price under the warrant. In addition, it would have saved me all the stress of being stranded. Fool me once...you know the rest. More
