I have bought two trucks now from Eau Claire Ford. Both times have been great with no pressures to buy and no pressure from the sales team. This last time I bought a USED 2016 F150 and on the way home afte times have been great with no pressures to buy and no pressure from the sales team. This last time I bought a USED 2016 F150 and on the way home after buying, it overheated. I drove it back, they gave me a car to use so I could get back home. They fixed the overheating issue and drove an hour to deliver the truck to me the next day. They treated me very well and didnt xx me when issues came about. I got a new water pump and a new hose installed. Keep in mind tjis is a used truck with no warrenty. They stood behind the truck and me as a customer and didn't charge me a penny. I will be going back to them for my next vehicle when that time comes. Dylan More
I went in for a general diagnosis and had "$4,900" in issues they wanted to fix on my vehicle. I told them I wanted another opinion and took it took a local mechanic shop and they fixed my two "major iss issues they wanted to fix on my vehicle. I told them I wanted another opinion and took it took a local mechanic shop and they fixed my two "major issues" for $40 dollars. This is the second time Eau Claire Ford has done this to me. I actually told them that another mechanic shop fixed my issues for basically nothing and the first question they had was, "what was the name of the local shop?"I did not give them that information. People, stay away from their service department and take your vehicle to a local shop that actually aren't trying to drain your wallet and take advantage from people. STAY AWAY! More

First lie was that my truck had the 36 gallon gas tank. After a couple weeks of ownership and not driving it very much, I discovered it was only 23 gallons. 2nd lie was that ford didn't make a crew cab with a 6.5 ft box(long box). A coworker showed up at work one day with a crew cab long box. He then showed me Ford's spec sheet on their website that lists the crew cab long box. I called "dragon" and he said I could buy some kind of a bed extender. No thanks dragon. I'll be buying my vehicles somewhere else in the future. More

I ask to check all fluids and they said the oil was capped fine. I then asked to check the transmission fluid . they replied they don't check transmission levels. they said no. you have to go to full service to check transmission levels. it is checked with a dipstick. to check all the fluids oil, transmission I HAVE TO GO TO TO DOOR 2. it said on the description of full service the tech checks all fluid level. I been with Eau Claire Ford service for 15 years. they said maybe next time. so i guess i need o make 2 appt. get an oil change in door 1 and check all fluid at door 2. maybe I can find someone that can do everything at once. Benjamin and his team made my truck buying experience very easy. They gave a fair price on my F150 trade and were priced competitively on the new F150. His communication was top notch. BAD BAD BAD I bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze 2 years ago from ECFLQ. We walked in ready to shop around, but immediately were told "we have the right car for you". I a I bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze 2 years ago from ECFLQ. We walked in ready to shop around, but immediately were told "we have the right car for you". I asked if we had an "S" on our forehead (for sucker). Little did I know how right I was! They had told us that the service dept. had replaced the engine gasket when the car was brought in. I just had to have it replaced again. Either the service dept at ECFLQ are idiots, or we were told a lie. There is no way a head gasket should go out in 2 year. I have had problems with a thermostat that was causing the coolant in the overflow tank to boil. That had to be replaced. I understand fully what "maintenance" means and I am more than willing to keep up on my car, but this is ridiculous. Besides that, I still owe over $8,000 on the car while the blue book is $3600. It could not have depreciated that much in 2 years, it was already used. They made a killing on this car, and I'm sure we aren't the only ones. I will never recommend them to anyone. I am so disappointed. More

Not a great place to buy a used vehicle I purchased a 2011 Ford F-150 from this dealership about 1 month ago (January 2019). They have a "no negotiating " pricing policy, which is their bus I purchased a 2011 Ford F-150 from this dealership about 1 month ago (January 2019). They have a "no negotiating " pricing policy, which is their business model and that is OK, but they did not disclose this to me prior to my looking at vehicles and several test drives with various vehicles. This should be stated up front when the sales process begins. I saw several other potential buyers "ambushed" by this tactic during my sales experience. This resulted in my paying well above the average price for the vehicle I chose. The "60 point vehicle inspection on all our used vehicles" was trumpeted continually during the sales process and reluctantly swayed me to overpay for the vehicle, because it made it sound "less risky". I was then shepharded into another office with the "finance person" and was offered an usurially expensive "service coverage contract" ($2400 for 24months). I was pressured non stop for nearly 45 minutes, but finally my declination was reluctantly accepted and I was made to sign a myriad of documents saying I was buying the vehicle "as is". But with the boastful "60 point inspection", I felt I was willingly to risk it. Less that two weeks later, I realized the after market radio/stereo system (that dealership had installled it) and the rear window defroster system didn't work. I took it in and during the review of these systems, I was informed I had a broken passenger side front coil spring and it needed to be replaced as well. Total cost estimates for these problems, nearly $2200!! Since I felt these items should have been caught in much ballyhooed "60 point inspection", I offered to pay for the replacement parts, if they would not charge labor. They flatly refused. I a discussion with one of the sales management team, they accused me of mistreating the vehicle (I am 66 years old and hadn't off-roaded the vehicle which they implied) and also curtly refused to offer me any recourse. I took the vehicle to another certified dealership, got to actually look at the coil spring that was broken and it was obvious from the wear and corrosion at the break, that it was there when I purchased the vehicle. I did have it replaced at considerably less cost at the second dealership and when my wife buys here next vehicle later this year, it WILL NOT be at Eau Claire Ford/Lincoln. More
