Outstanding customer service. This dealer was 2 hrs from my home. Prior to my visit Ed Michaels was very responsive to my questions, quickly providing photos and videos of the vehicle. I had planned to trade-in but was unable to reach agreement on price. I choose to purchase the new vehicle but kept my old car. I was worried about how I would get my old car back to my home. Ed volunteered to drive my old car back to my house the next day! At no cost to me! This is true customer service and it far exceeded my expectations. I first came to Elder Ford with interest in a Blue Jeep Laredo but instantly fell in love with a Green Grand Cherokee Limited Edition that they also had on inventory. After working with the inital salesman we were not able to come to an agreement on price. The original price was too far out of my reach. I was then quoted two different prices after calling to try to work out a deal with an additonal salesmanager. I was really upset with the price changes but was then contacted by Ed Michaels. Ed was very helpful and did everything he could to make the deal work for me. We were able to work out a deal that prior to speaking with him was never managable. He was very nice, understanding, and overall, has been the best salesman I have worked with before. This was the 9th dealership I worked with in a 2 month time frame before working with Elder and this was the best customer service I experienced. After signing the final papers I informed Ed that I drove a rental over and needed a way to get it back to my residence. Without hesitation Ed was nice enough to follow me to my house to drop off the rental, drive me back to the dealership so I would be able to leave in the new Jeep. The deal with Ed could not have worked out any better, and I could not have been more happy. He also contacted me a few days after the purchase to check in with me regarding my new vehicle. It was a great feeling knowing he wanted to reach out to see how my new Jeep was working out for me. I would 100% recommed working with Elder Ford and would recommed working with Ed Michaels if you have the chance too. Ed and his manager Mark even threw in 3 free tanks of gas and 2 free oil changes.
