My husband and I took my jeep into the shop because of a problem with the GEM module, which was causing problems for the windshield wipers, the A/C and the transmission. This was specifically detailed for problem with the GEM module, which was causing problems for the windshield wipers, the A/C and the transmission. This was specifically detailed for Risa, and she was even given the name of another automotive shop who had diagnosed the issue but had recommended we take the jeep to the dealership because they didn't have the equipment to fix the GEM module themselves. Instead of relaying that information to the technician, she simply told them the jeep was "sluggish". Two days later we called to find out why the jeep wasn't ready yet, only to be told they hadn't done anything because the jeep wasn't operating sluggishly for them. After telling the manager the actual reasons the jeep was taken in, he then argued with me for about 10 minutes before realized that Risa had simply not done her job correctly and had not relayed any of the pertinent information to the technician. Not only that, but she flat-out lied to my husband on the phone the day before, telling him that they had found the problem with the GEM module but were just trying to figure out how to fix it (obviously not true, since the technician wasn't aware what the issue was). So my jeep was returned to me, still with a broken A/C, broken wipers and transmission issues. Although the bulk of my complaint is with Risa, I also question the skill level of the employees in the shop. To have a jeep with an obvious issue in the shop for 2 days, and to be unable to diagnose the problem, is suspicious to me. All around, Risa, the manager, and the employees at the dealership auto body shop demonstrated lazy, sub-par behaviour and a gross lack of communication. More
This is in regards to a brand new Challenger (barely a month old now) that was taken back to have the NWPP and Karrtrack added. The car is awesome. I am not posting in regards to purchase experience. This month old now) that was taken back to have the NWPP and Karrtrack added. The car is awesome. I am not posting in regards to purchase experience. This is in regards to a matter of ethics and trust at the service dept of this dealership. As planned, I took it back to have NWPP added, requires an overnight drop off. I drop it off, zero out EVIC and note the odometer. When I pick it up the next day there were 6 miles on it and EVIC read .71 Gs on the rear. This equates to a burn-out as that's the only way to pull that much G force on the rear. Not to mention .4 to .5s on the front and sides which equates to joy riding. A "road test" that hard is not needed to apply sealant on the paint and teflon on the carpets. I take it back the following week for Karrtrack to be added. I say nothing at this point, I just want to get what I paid for and be done with it. This time I zero EVIC half way there and let it record casual driving. I drop it off with from .00 to .05 Gs all around and record the mileage. The car was clean as I just had it in a car show the day before. When I pick it up, no additional miles were on it however, the rims were near black inside and out, massive break dust and wheel burn splatter all over the sides too, and drivers window was filthy. Gs read .4s and .5s all around which as best I can guess, they were doing donuts in a parking lot nearby. Those aren't normal Gs for being careful with a customers car. So not once, but twice they tear around in my car without my permission, without informing me and better yet, the service dept didn;t even know to hide their tracks in the on board computer! I will not have anything to do with this place again and will recommend others not to. I also have submitted these comments to Chrysler at the request of the Chrysler survey phone call i got the next day which included a specific request for this dealership to not contact me! I'm fairly sure Chad will read this and I hope for your business you get a handle on your service dept people. This is no way to treat a customer. This is how you wind up with former customers. More
