I am a young, female professional who purchased my first Mercedes Benz (C250) on 11/23/2011 from Euro Motorcars in Bethesda, MD. I would describe my buying experience as fun, easy, and satisfying (so I guess you can say I lucked up as I know these words are not often used to describe ones encounter at a dealership). Prior to my arrival, I must admit that I was nervous on how I would be treated. I know this may sound sinister, but I’ve read several articles online that describe how the main objective of all dealers is to “get over” as much as possible. Well, let me be the first to tell you, that John Johnston (Internet Salesman) and Randy Merry (General Sales Manager) treated me with the upmost respect and quickly laid all of my fears to rest. I arrived approximately 30 minutes early, but to my surprise, John didn’t seem to mind. He took me to his office and we began to talk about the car. One of the things that impressed me about John was that he was interested in me as a person. He asked me several questions which helped put me at ease, and when it came time for negotiations, he was fair, honest, and upfront. Randy Merry was also a pleasure to deal with. He added an extra incentive on top of the already stellar price John was offering me. They really gave me an offer I could not refuse. I purchased the car on the spot not only because of the stellar price, but because of their OUTSTANDING customer service. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. Bethesda Euro Motorcars has earned, in me, a customer for life. If you or a family member are looking to purchase a Mercedes Benz, I HIGHLY recommend Bethesda Euro Motorcars. I just had a sway bar installed on my Sprinter motorhome @ the Euromotorcars Rockville Sprinter service facility. It cost half of what I was quoted and it was done in half the time. I've worked with Steven Hula for 12 years and ever since he left not only has customer service gone down, prices have jumped and Chris Arillo doesn't seem to have a clue what he's talking about. I may not be in the car industry, but I do know the basic mechanics of cars. My car went in for service on September 6th and did not receive my car back until September 22nd. I am now having complications with my car since getting it back. In 12 years I have never once had a problem until about 6 months ago. I am looking to buy my fourth vehicle but will not be purchasing it or servicing it with this company. More
Doug Barnes has been my service advisor for the past several years. I have always found him to be professional, knowledgeable and responsive. I don't normally write reviews for service, unless my experience has been exceptional, and my experience with Euromotorcars has been second to none. Euromotorcars and Mercedes-Benz owes it to my service experience has been exceptional, and my experience with Euromotorcars has been second to none. Euromotorcars and Mercedes-Benz owes it to my service advisor, Dennis Shrewsberry for absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service. Since I first started visiting the dealership back in 2000, Dennis always went the extra mile to make sure my service experience was an exceptional one. He has always been very pleasant and accommodating to my needs. Sometimes I neglect to make an appointment, but he somehow he fits me into his schedule and the work is always completed in a timely manner. He keeps me up to date with what's going on with my vehicle and there's never any surprises. I've spoken to Jim Willard and written to Mercedes-Benz of North America about Dennis's outstanding professionalism. In the past I rarely bought the same vehicle make twice in a row because I like to try different things, but my last 3 vehicles have been Mercedes-Benz vehicles because of my experience at Euromotorcars, specifically Dennis Shrewsberry. I was concerned because I had read a couple of negative ratings for the Service Department of Euro Motorcars of Bethesda. I couldn’t have been more pleased. After the 1000 mile Service, I noticed a bad s ratings for the Service Department of Euro Motorcars of Bethesda. I couldn’t have been more pleased. After the 1000 mile Service, I noticed a bad scratch on the front lower air dam of my new car!!! I was semi-hysterical!!! ( O.K. maybe not semi). I returned to Euro Motorcars and they had some proof that the car arrived at their shop with that damage. They could claim that it was not their fault. HOWEVER, they offered to fix it at no cost to retain my customer good will. They certainly accomplished that! More

I can't believe I am rating all 5's for a used car purchasing experience, but in this case it was well deserved. I got exactly what I needed, and I didn't feel coerced or pressured in any way to go f purchasing experience, but in this case it was well deserved. I got exactly what I needed, and I didn't feel coerced or pressured in any way to go for something else. I got to test drive a few options, I was walked through on everything I need to know as an owner (and more!), and I made the decision because I wanted to, not because I was being pushed. I ended up with a really top quality ML, and haven't regretted it for a second. I especially enjoyed the people I encountered - in particular the finance guy was a riot. At first I thought finance was going to be the worst part of the experience, but it ended being fun and feeling honorable, not at all slimy. So far I have had no issues with service, but I don't have a ton of experience there yet. When I do, I'll update again. Thanks for the great car, great experience, and I'll definitely be back! More
