Maria (service advisor) has been the best in every way I can think of with her outgoing personality and knowledge of the cars and people. helpful. July 14, 2023 I once was a small business owner. Therefore, I know how important and ethical it is to write a review based on the facts as honestly as possible. I ended up buying a new car from out of state dealership because the model with a manual transmission I was looking for was nowhere to be found in Texas. Upon receiving the license plates from the TX DMV, I realized the prep work wasn’t done for me to easily mount the front license plate as it came from the state that doesn’t require the front license plate. So, I took the car to Ewing Subaru for their help. The service advisor (Brandon Leffall) greeted me courteously. I explained the situation. Frankly, I felt a bit awkward because I did not buy the car from Ewing. Nonetheless, he happily offered with a warm smile to take care of it for me. He needed special brackets and he had to look for them. Luckily, another service advisor (Lauren Barrett) happened to have the brackets. Both of them working together, I had my license plates mounted in less than 15 minutes right in the service pull up area. Both of them were exceptionally friendly and nice with engaging conversation with me. And it didn’t cost me anything. I will happily go back to Ewing for all future service requirements. More
Had a horrible experience with service here. Brought a brand new 2022 Imprezza in Jan 2022 the first 6 months I had the entire head unit replaced (Which I understand is common in Subaru) and Brought a brand new 2022 Imprezza in Jan 2022 the first 6 months I had the entire head unit replaced (Which I understand is common in Subaru) and the A/C unit replaced as well an May/June. No issues until the beginning of 2023. When I began to have issues with the head unit again. Brought it in again and they stated they needed to replace it again. I attempted at that point to speak with the manager. She was very nice and offered to file a complaint with Subaru corporate for me. She stated that I would receive a response within a few business days. after 96H no response I reached out again and she stated they would contact me. Again it has been 2 weeks now and still nothing. Totally unacceptable for a BRAND NEW CAR!. This is just ridiculous. It has been covered by warranty each time but what am I supposed to do when it expires in 6months? More

Their assessment was prompt and accurate. I was given an estimate of the cost for repair, which coincided with our extended warranty coverage. The repair time was fast and the problem fully corrected. Our Service Advisor, Khalid Hall was very knowledgeable and kept us informed throughout the repair process. The Service Department was clean and the employees and work area did not smell of cigarettes like another Subaru dealership we had previously used. We appreciate the excellent service we received from Ewing Subaru of Plano. More

Today I spoke with Stephanie about a battery failure for my 2020 Outback. Stephanie informed me that they didn't have the part, so I should call around to other area dealerships to find it. She informed m my 2020 Outback. Stephanie informed me that they didn't have the part, so I should call around to other area dealerships to find it. She informed me this was the best route to take rather than using her Subaru database to find the part. According to her, the customer should undergo searching for the part. Due to high demand, other dealerships wouldn't be honest about their stock because they were more concerned with serving their own customers. After waiting on hold for multiple dealership's parts departments, a search that would have taken her much less time if she had used her database, I finally found someone that had my part. The Rockwall parts department informed me that running parts from dealership to dealership was common practice, and they didn't understand why Ewing would suggest the customer doing all of the leg work. Stephanie's handling of my case taught me that Subaru Dealerships do not work as a team to treat their customers with care. I would think dealerships would pool their resources to ensure quality care for their customers. Not a good look. More
