My Review Of Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston:
We leased a 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE from Fred Anderson Toyota less than 2 years ago as the primary vehicle for my wife to drive around town and for vacations. It's a great vehicle for vacations and getting around town, but my wife really wanted something bigger. Since I knew that we'd be moving back to Cincinnati, OH soon (and I’m very familiar with the harsh winters and ice/snow storms up there) I was open to her "demands". We went to Fred Anderson Toyota to see what they had on their lot after looking at their website and met with Julie Anderson. She knew that we still had another year of our lease on our Sienna, but she also knew that my wife really wanted to be in a Sequoia.
Julie let us walk the lot alone with our kids to look at all the vehicles without pressuring us. She came out when we had a few questions and to let my wife compare all of the Sequoias on the lot. She understood that the Sequoia wasn't going to be my vehicle and took the time to show my wife all the difference between her Sienna and the Sequoia she wanted. As a mother herself, Julie understood that we needed a vehicle to handle changes in weather and also something that would be comfortable for trips with the kids. She really made my wife comfortable and answered every question without hesitation being very knowledgeable and comparing the Sequoia to the 4Runner that she drove with her family. This made my wife very happy with the decision to purchase a new Sequoia. She took us for a test drive and wasn't in a hurry to get us back to the dealership to rush us into signing a deal. She wanted to make sure we understood everything about the vehicle and to make sure we enjoyed the driving experience.
We would highly recommend Julie Anderson to anyone wanting to meet with someone that will take the time to understand your needs. She is someone who won't pressure to buy a vehicle that you don’t' want or don't need. She will work with you to make sure you get the right vehicle for the right price and make sure you are treated with the upmost respect by the rest of the team involved in your purchase or lease.
The entire staff (from sales, management, finance and service) is pleasant and easy to work with. They treat you like family and not a number like the huge corporate dealerships in the Charleston area who want to pressure you into a car and hold the keys for your trade "hostage" while sending in manager after manager trying to make you sign. Not Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston!!! They treat you with respect and want you to be satisfied with your vehicle as well as the dealership as a whole.
Being active duty military for over 24 years I have purchased many vehicles around the United States. I have to honestly say that Julie and the rest of the staff at Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston will make you feel like part of the family when you arrive at their dealership and treat you with professionalism throughout your experience there whether you purchase a vehicle that day or later on down the road.
