These people are not to be trusted. They told me they would pick up my car. They told me they would text the night before. To confirm. Then, when I got a chance to check my phone and got back to them, they told me they weren't going to pick it up and needed to reschedule. It is a massive inconvenience to plan for a day without a car and, to have them simply elect not to abide by the covenant they set for their own convenience is already unconscionable. Then they tried to blame me. They claimed all kinds of things. "We reached out to you last night." No you didn't. "Oh, well we don't reach out the night before." You didn't reach out until after the pickup window started. "It says here the appointment was cancelled." Who cancelled it? Not me. "Yeah. It was cancelled by the customer." B.S. If they had told the truth about how pick up works, I would've just said "Nope. I can't be available at your whim to answer a call or respond to a text. I'll take it in." Part of me is glad I did, though, because now I know what kind of organization this is and, while it was an almost insurmountable inconvenience to deal with this, I know I will never, ever have to deal with it again. I'll drive all the way to the Henderson one before I go back to Gaudin Ford. Save yourself the trouble of working with a dealership that has such a dishonest service department. Go to one of the several other dealerships in town. I know I will. More
I have been going to this dealership for over 10 years now and have always had a good experience except for my recent visit. I am so disappointed in the treatment I received by one of the services guys, Mr. Acosta, that I have felt compelled to leave a review as I have yet to hear back from the service manager. It is always nerve-racking walking into a dealership for service as a female in fear of being taken advantage of- in which this was the case. I had some service done in 2021 on a recall and when I went to pick up my car- the antenna was broken by the car wash here. The service guys were all super great, apologized and fixed it promptly. Ever since my antenna didn’t seem to be bolted on tightly and would slightly knock once in a while especially on a windy day. Well, last week it finally came off and rolled down the back of my car. I made an appointment right away and brought it back here. Mr. Acosta approached my car as I told him this previous issue and acknowledged that I would need to pay for a new one as time had passed. He opened my hood right way and told me my coolant was low and that there must be a leak. I was a little thrown off as to why that needed to be assessed but assured him I had no leaks. I left my car and took an Uber to work. I got a call about an hour later from Mr. Acosta saying it was going to be about $1100 to replace my antenna, match the paint to my car (its black) and much more work was to be done. I told them to go ahead and fix it then hung up. I called him back about 10 minutes later and told him that I needed to wait, that I just didn’t have that kind of money right now especially as a single mother. I immediately got a ride back to the dealership and approached the desk where I was treated rudely and told to go sit and wait for them to bring my car around. I knew the frustration from Mr. Acosta was going to cause me to wait for my car at this point. I patiently waited for 46 minutes then went back to his desk where I begged to get my car as I had to get back to work. He said he didn’t know what to tell me that the services guys didn’t message him back. I asked if he would kindly check for me as I really needed to get back to work. After 27 minutes he comes back and stated that the service guy was at lunch, no one must have got the message and the other service guys started working on another car and didn’t know they needed to bring my car. I asked if he could just get someone to bring me my car as my business partner was now yelling at me on the phone in front of him to get back even if I had to leave car. As he walked away again, I went in and got the service managers email from Jose (who has always been so helpful in the past). Even Jose knew something was wrong as I was almost in tears when he gave me the service managers email Mr. Soto. I finally got my car and left. The next day I went to get some more estimates just to see if I can get this fixed. The place I chose actually ordered the antenna from Gaudin Ford and fixed it all for $550. No paint was ever needed so I don’t know what Mr. Acosta meant when he said my car and the part needed to be painted as well. I will never visit here again as I feel completely taken advantage of and embarrassed. My request for a call with Mr. Soto has still went unanswered. Really disappointed. More
It’s no wonder this has 1. 9 stars. Rip off on service and warranty. They took $1800 to replace my ac compressor and gave me a 2 year warranty. Took it in as ac stopped working 9 stars. Took it in as ac stopped working and was told I would not be charged anything and was even emailed an invoice for $0.00. They told me to fix it would be $1000. Hahaha talking with other machanics and another ford dealership they said they should have fixed that when replacing the compressor and they are trying to make you pay for their mistake. So picked up my car and was charged $199 for diagnostic test. Word of advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE they will xxxx you of money and their warranty sucks and doesn’t cover anything. More

But when its going on 4,5,6 times over the course of 2,3 years.. one has to just say, "why do I even try"... ..being the nearest Ford dealership to my house has always been the reason I kept coming back for service on my 2012 Explorer..... Now it Makes more sense to travel across town to another dealership for better service. It was a serious issue (A Recall) I WANTED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. “We’ll call you back" they said, yeup I've heard that one before. Update 2024 Why do we not learn from our own experiences. Only because it’s the closest dealership to my home is why I came back again two more times. But never again! Ordered an accessory from their parts department. Two weeks later they call me in to pick up. I show up, it’s not there. “Sorry we made a mistake” I Cancel my order and got the run-around for 6-8 weeks on receiving back my ford points refund. Then….. Drop off my 23’ Bronco Cam phaser fix. The car sits on their lot for almost 3 weeks. I get it returned to me without any work being done on it. I’m sure there are so many variable’s on why I’ve had these crappy experiences with Gaudin Ford. At this point? I’ve given up on trying to give them another chance. One comes to the conclusion that it’s best if You file a complaint with Ford directly, and you hope they learn from their lack of customer service. Good luck to anyone else that decides to do business with them. More
Dropped off my 2021 F-150 limited with a laundry list of small items that needed to be addressed as well as a 30k mile service. Took over a week to get it back and when I did the components around the rear small items that needed to be addressed as well as a 30k mile service. Took over a week to get it back and when I did the components around the rear view mirror and the cap that enclosed that area were sitting in my passenger seat, while the wiring from multiple sensors was dangling out from behind the mirror. They said that it spontaneously fell while it was parked and that I needed to buy a new windshield for like $1650 and it wasn’t under warranty. I have never once seen those things fall or be loose. I have tried calling and left 3 messages for a service manager to call me back so we can discuss and I have yet to hear back. The service advisor was helpful, responsive and pleasant while my truck was under repair but the final result was less than acceptable. More
Purchased my Escape at Gaudin. They delivered my vehicle to me in the dark. They closed the doors and lights out, everyone left except for the salesperson. I returned to have it detailed and they didn't have time. I'm supposed to be a VIP but that's just a scam. I purchased a warranty and they wouldn't honor it. I swore I would never go there again. Now, the bolts to the plate under my vehicle have fallen out. Went to two other Ford dealerships and they wouldn't fix it. Went to Gaudin and just terrible customer service, especially when I'm supposed to be a VIP. Sad that they don't have empathy, even human kindness to help. Too bad they couldn't take less than 5 min to just put new bolts in. Frustrating to even keep talking about it. More
Last year my husband objected to $200 of tests when all the service department had to do was check the battery first, which was the problem. After not receiving any recourse, he wrote a poor review. Gaudin Ford offered to refund the $200, if he would change the review, which he did. But he never received the $200 even after multiple phone calls and more promises. Gaudin Ford has lost a customer and received another bad review. I believe the service department gets good reviews as long as you agree with everything they do, once you don’t, they won’t work with you to rectify the situation. More
My issues are with trying to obtain service from the service department at Gaudin Ford. The way they do things is very customer unfriendly and very different from many other dealers. Every other dealer I've gone to except this one allows you to schedule an appointment online. Gaudin Ford doesn't. It is walk-in, first-come, first served. They have two types of service, one labeled "oil change/quick lane" and the other "service". Contrary to what one would think, "oil change/quick lane" is for anything that doesn't require a diagnostic service. I feel this terminology is confusing, but that's the least of my concerns. There are two lanes, one for each type of service. You choose the lane based on the service you need. Unfortunately, the lane designation is painted on the ground, hidden from view when cars are waiting in the lane. You would think they would use labeled traffic cones or overhead signs which would always be visible (something that other dealers have done for years), but apparently nobody at Gaudin Ford has thought of that yet. Gaudin Ford does not have greeters. At every other dealer except this one, a service greeter will meet you at your car while you are waiting in line, take down your information and inform your service writer that you are here. This is a nice personal touch and reassures the customer that they are being looked after. I guess since Gaudin Ford doesn't take appointments, they have no need to do this. If you got into the wrong lane (see above), you're out of luck. When I got in line, the car ahead of me either didn't know they were supposed to drive forward into the building or was having problems with their car. Nobody from Gaudin Ford came out to investigate. I gave up and decided to try getting service at another dealer. I feel like Gaudin Ford is way behind other dealers when it comes to valuing customers and making sure they have a positive experience. More
