Had a brake inspection, within 30 days my brake pads were gone and caliper broke. Stuck in California over labor day weekend, total 7 nights to get repairs done. Between repair, hotel and car rental, bill gone and caliper broke. Stuck in California over labor day weekend, total 7 nights to get repairs done. Between repair, hotel and car rental, bill was over $3500. If they truly checked my brakes during a routine check, I could have had the repair done at home and saved over half of that.
