It was a long 10 days of looking but I am VERY, VERY pleased with the end result! I started with "used" and met Jen & Trina & Chris at Green, Davenport. Wonderful individuals! Great team! Very friendly and definitely customer oriented (Trina even got her own car for me to see to make a point and I'm soo grateful she did!) but I decided to investigate "new" before making a final decision. After shopping "new" with a couple other dealers, going online to Consumer Reports, Kelley Blue book, Autotrader.com, and NADA, I knew exactly what I wanted & what I could afford. Called Chris late Saturday afternoon and he worked some prospective $ for me that he thought might make me "the happy customer Green wants me to be" on Monday...but told me I had to go to East Moline for the particular car I wanted. Was greeted by Josh right away ~ very friendly and always encouraging. Some comic relief along the way, too, but I was quite stressed at this first-time-solo purchase prospect so I appreciated the humor! The bartering took alittle while longer than I expected but we worked out the numbers, much to my delight. I APPRECIATED SO MUCH that Josh was the only one who came to me during bartering process (not a "Well, you'll have to talk to my manager" and then the "manager's manager"...Josh was my only salesperson from beginning to end. And he did great!) THEN it was time to go sign on the dotted line. After hearing stories about "pressure" from well-meaning friends, I was a little nervous about meeting with the finance guy, who was Paul. Actually, I was VERY nervous...for about two seconds! He immmediately made me feel like "we are so happy that we've been able to sell you the car you want at the price you want!" Super friendly! Super knowledgeable! Great advice! Offerings but no "pressure." (< THANK YOU, PAUL!) I felt he cared about my situation, and was doing everything he could to reduce my monthly payment ("You don't NEED new license plates, just transfer the old ones. That's $12 less". Great!) I was quite adamant about the interest rate I wanted but when it meant out of town lender, Paul showed me info re: a local credit union ...but that it would increase my payment by ONE DOLLAR! No brainer! Decided to "support local". I felt that each and every member of the "Green" team was professional, caring and wanted me to be happy with whatever decision I made, though they did want to sell me a car! I was pleased that Chris called me yesterday to follow-up on "how's everything going with your new car today?" Lastly, I'll be THRILLED to take my car in to Green's(fka Keady)Davenport Service Dept where I've been taking my cars for years and I'm already on a first-name basis with Todd ~ who is why I started with Green in the first place! More

After a quick test drive which confirmed our interest, it was down to finances. We discussed several options before settling on a specific trade. Although trade-in value was less than we had hoped,we must admit the trade-in vehicle needed some repairs. There were some issues related to licence plate transfer,but between Julie and her finance officer, Rod, we reached agreement. Throughout the process Julie and her associates were professional, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful More
My husband and I went in looking for a "fun" car to drive and were shown multiple convertibles. We went in looking for a Mustang or sporty type car. Just before leaving and looking elsewhere, Rick showed u and were shown multiple convertibles. We went in looking for a Mustang or sporty type car. Just before leaving and looking elsewhere, Rick showed us a Saab convertible that he thought would fit our needs. Needless to say, we test drove it and still went to "shop around". Later that day we went back and bought the Saab. We did have to go back to cancel the extended warranty becuase we were unaware of the price of the warranty and the fact that it was automatically added to the loan through the financing department. Even with this we had no problem removing the warranty and they (financing department) were easy to deal with. More

We looked at used trucks online before we came in and found one that we liked. When we got to Green we test drove the Silverado we saw online and a Nissan Pathfinder. We found the price, condition, and miles of the Pathfinder very fair and decided it would work best with our expanding family. More
When I pulled onto the lot to look at cars, was greeted with friendly wave. Was not pressured into looking at something that was too much for me. I also was impressed with the finance guy and confidence at getting the financing and rate I was wanting. Everyone at Green, especially Terry, was very nice and more than willing to work hard for me. I have purchased two cars in recent months from Rick. In both cases the experience was pleasant. I would have given Green Chevrolet a perfect "5" rating, but there was a problem with the navigation system both cases the experience was pleasant. I would have given Green Chevrolet a perfect "5" rating, but there was a problem with the navigation system for the BMW I purchased. Obviously they had not checked the system prior to selling me the car. Rick however was very diligent in getting the solution resolved. He has since checked with me several times to make sure that things are working appropriately. I can't ask for any better service than what Rick has provided for me. More

Green had a great varity of cars. Julie had great patience with me. We looked at a wide range of vehicles. Once my husband came to the dealer ship we looked at even more. She never got impatient with patience with me. We looked at a wide range of vehicles. Once my husband came to the dealer ship we looked at even more. She never got impatient with us. My husband purchased a 2010 Chevy K2500 from Greens. We dealt with Paul Shanin and we were really impressed on how smooth the transaction went. My husband is not the easiest person to deal with and Paul never broke a sweat. My husband was really impressed with the whole deal and couldn't be happier with his new truck. We are in the process of getting a 2nd vehicle and Green's will be the place we return to for the purchase. A lot of the reason has to do with Paul. He bent over backwards making this purchase as pain free as possible. The whole Green team is helpful and friendly. Thank you Green's and thank you Paul. :) More
My daughter Ashley recently graduated from college and accepted a job in Colorado - and was making the trip from Michigan - alone with her cat when her 10 yr old Saab started giving her problems. I got o accepted a job in Colorado - and was making the trip from Michigan - alone with her cat when her 10 yr old Saab started giving her problems. I got on line and found 3 GM dealers and she stopped in to 2 of them and they turned her away - said they didn't service her car. I then got on the phone to Green Chevrolet which was 57 miles away and was told that yes they would try to help and would try to fit her in that afternoon. Well long story short she broke down 3 times trying to get there, was panicked and pretty overwhelmed...got the car started just enough to limp into Green's driveway and was pushed the rest of the way by a helpful Green employee. She arrived too late to be seen, but Jessica got her a hotel room (negotiated the cat as part of the deal), had her car and all her worldly possessions plus kayak on the roof - stored inside for the night, then drove her to the hotel and offered to give her a ride if she should need it ....wow - that is more than service...and that is just the beginning. She helped get her car in first thing the next morning, and got parts from a distant city rushed in - she arranged for transportation once again from the hotel to the dealership and had Ashley back on the road in less than 24 hrs and the charge was very reasonable. During all of this she dealt with my worried Mom calls & provided kind reassurance that all was under control. Lots of people made this happen behind the scenes - and I'm sorry I don't know everyone's name to thank....but my daughter is only 23, was very scared, first long trip alone and the care that was shown is reflective not simply of good customer service training, but of good caring decent people. Honesty, integrity, and fairness were reflected in all dealings. AND the car made it to Colorado and is still running perfectly. I can't thank you enough! More
