Completely clueless and void of empathy I received a letter from Ford Motor Co. stating my air bag recall was now available. I called the dealership and was connected to Aamanda Murphy. I in I received a letter from Ford Motor Co. stating my air bag recall was now available. I called the dealership and was connected to Aamanda Murphy. I informed her of the letter, gave her the recall number (# 17S42) and asked to make an appointment for the recall service. I was offered Friday Jan 25, 2018 at 9am and I accepted. I took an entire day off work to have this done as I had been waiting a few years on a resolution to this issue. When I showed up for the appointment I was informed they could not do the work because they do not yet have the parts. Why I was not informed of this prior to taking off work and why this person would make an appointment when they do not have the parts needed is UNPROFESSIONAL. I informed the techs at the service counter and they even discussed it with Aamanda Murphy and all they and she could offer was a weak apology and sorry "there is nothing we can do about this" REALLY?? I am out $211.28 pay for NOTHING? I was waiting for the new Ranger to come out and trade in my old one but after being treated so disrespectfully I think I will look at Toyota and Chevrolet now. I await to see if the dealership in Elizabeth City takes it's business and customers seriously or is just like many unscrupulous companies. Daniel Nacrelli More

Service on my Nissan I had to bring my car in for an impromptu repair. They accepted my car immediately and said they would work on it as soon as possible. They listened when I explained the problem with my car. I brought my car in on a Friday morning and had it back by the following Tuesday. They were very good about keeping me informed throughout the process. All costs were presented realistically upfront, which was very helpful since I did not anticipate this repair. All of the employees were friendly, helpful, and understanding. I could have brought my Nissan to a Nissan dealer for repairs, but Hall Ford was my first choice since I have had such good experiences with them. It is clear Hall Ford's primary concern is helping their customers. More
Disrespected First of all the sales team that showed me the vehicle for test drives and features was great. Was happy with purchase. What I was not happy with. I was sold a mantience plan for my vehicle that did not match the manufacture recommended schedule. So when I go to make the appt. To get my oil changed I find out it is not due for another 5,000 miles .When I call ask about this I'm told we will look at it when you come in. After i get there not only do they disrespect me by telling me I owe $50 to cancel a plan that did not match my vehicle schedule I'm told the manufacture 10,000 mile oil change is not correct everyone gets it changed at 5,000. I was never informed when sold the plan . It was not based on vehicle schedule . So when I called them out on everything i was told I can sell you a plan for anything it doesn't have anything to do with vehicle schedule. All over $50 and they knew my truck was in back waiting to get the oil changed and I had paid extra for full synthetic oil which was $30. So for $50 They gave up a long term customer. For service. Service department has no communication Dropped my truck off last Monday for a scheduled Tuesday appointment. I wrote down exactly what I wanted done to my truck. Did not hear anything come Thursday so I called them to get a status. My service advisor was out they said he would call me back by Thursday evening I had no call so I called them he had not even wrote it up. So another service advisor tallied it up and she gave me the price I said proceed. She did her job great wish she was my service advisor. They could not get the parts last week but he told me to truck would be done by Wednesday just went to pick it up it has not been touched and even though I told him exactly what I wanted done they were still trying to charge me three separate diagnostic fees. And even after multiple calls yesterday and today he still would not return my call. More

John Lovett was our adviser he was friendly and extremely knowledgeable to our Explorers problems, usually advisers in the past don't explain they just say we need the work done. Not today John explained to us and made us feel comfortable fixing thing on our Ford that we weren't aware of. We will be back and tell our friends and family about our experience today. Worst Ford Service center ever!!! I brought my truck in Saturday after calling and making an appointment for first thing on Monday. As I went into the dealership once again we were ass I brought my truck in Saturday after calling and making an appointment for first thing on Monday. As I went into the dealership once again we were assured that first thing Monday it would be on the hoist and we would have a call first thing Monday to let us know of any extra servicing because we needed the truck back by Monday evening. Katie was the rudest person I have ever met, as we walked out of the service area I told my husband how uncomfortable it was and he agreed. We almost took my truck back to bring to VA instead, but we agreed that it was already there, other Ford dealerships have always been great to us (not this place). Monday morning turns into noon, I called and am on hold and being transferred for a solid 15 minutes and Katie picks up the phone and the call is dropped. I call back because they didn't bother to call back and get transferred to Katie right away? I asked about the truck and she said they haven't done the work because their Internet was down, and she tried to hang up, so I quickly ask was there any other work, she said she doesn't know the mechanic is on lunch. This is noon...she tries to hang up all the time giving me the snarkiest attitude. Next I ask what work is getting done today and she rudely answers, whatever you were quoted and hangs up! I am so miffed and ready to go grab my truck! So I call the manager who tells me we made the appointment later in the day, I call out her lie right away. Next she tells me lie after lie about my truck, that they were working on it for an hour and a half already, and that as we were speaking he was draining the oil. She tried running me around on my ford truck..a farm girl who comes from a family that exclusively owns fords and a dad who is a mechanic with his own shop. On top of that I am a forester from the Canadian Rockies and they tried telling me I needed to change my brand new expensive mountian rugged tires because they are cut up...wow trying to steal my tired too!!! There are many more things I won't even get into on here, but I know trucks and this place obviously does not and heavily lacks any civility, courtesy or respect. More

We have had nothing but problems with this dealership and will never go back. They didn't want to honor our warranty on our 2010 Hyundai Elantra when it was a defective transmission. We had to drive to Virginia to get it fixed. The customer service rep Amanda should be fired. She is very argumentative and rude. Then they used masking take to fix an electrical problem on our vehicle and had the nerve to blame it on another body shop. This place is a joke. More
