My Review of Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree:
The car we bought was exactly as presented to us. It was clean and the mileage was what we were told it would be. We felt the price was right for the vehicle, and we didn't feel pressured. The people we delt with were professional and new their 'stuff'.
We are more than pleased and would definitely go to the dealership again, and recomend it to friends and family.

bought a vehicle from from herb chambers ford, they were very slow and made you wait while they stood around talking,told you they would get you lowest interst rate and didn't. would not go threw ford credit, marked new on sevice contract when it was a preowned. they do not return phone calls, or e-mails. would not recommend this dealer to my worse enemy

After doing a lot of shopping around, I was convinced to make the drive and take the time to go to Herb Chambers Ford. I was told they have over 40 dealerships and can beat any price. After waiting for more time that I would have liked, I was simply told this is our price, and that there is no way any other dealer could beat this. Well, not only were they higher than my best quote, but they were fourth on the list, beaten by Best Ford, Acton Ford, Bob Moran's Iversen Ford, and Drum Hill Ford.

It is a false guarantee about their prices. Don't get me wrong, the internet sales rep was very helpful and good with communication, the salesman was very polite and managed to have the time pass by with some enjoyment, and the GM was respectful and direct. Unfortunately, the system by which they operate was an illusion. I would willingly show a P&S as to how much they were beat!

Since Duddie Forsd sold this dealership to Herb Chambers at least the sales experience is not so bad. I cannot comment about service as I have yet to buy a car. why? they stick to sticker price and will not negotiate without wasting all kinds of time with questions instead of just saying "look Mr. Customer my bottom line on this car is this anount- period" outside of that they have a huge inventory in many colors and models . So for that reason it is worth a visit if you wnat a Ford to see Herb Chambers Ford.

Horrible customer service from the start. I stood there for 20+ minutes before the service writer even said anything. Then gave me attitude.
I took it in for plugs, wires, and a PVC hose becasue I really didn't feel like doing it myself (I used to work as a mechanic but can't bend like I used to). I figure $200-$300 tops. I left the vehicle there for the day so they'd have plenty of time. They called me right back and qouted $550. A bit high in my book for somethign so simple but it was already there so I said ok. "We'll do it this morning!" they said.
Got there at 4:00 -not ready. Then I got the bill. $800 for plugs and wires! I was too angry to speak.
Also, while I was waiting I heard the stories they told people. Oh my God. I see how Herb made his money. I'll never go to a dealer again. BEWARE!!!

I get too frustrated with my experience when I talk about it so I cant go into the whole thing. Lets just say within 4 months after buying my car, I had it for 2, Herb chambers Ford had it for 2 and refused to give me a loaner until the end, which seemed to at least make them move quicker on fixing my car.

My Review of Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree:
I brought my car in for inspection & was rejected on emissions. They never said what code came up, or offered a guess at what the problem may be, however they did offer a 160$ Diagnostic to find the problem (I knew I could do better). When I fixed the problem & went back for the free re-inspect, all I was being told was that it was still failing...no further explanation was given except for pay 160$ to find out why.

Worst dealership experience EVER!

My Review of Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree:
We gotten a quote from another Ford Dealership and went to Herb Chambers to see if they can match this deal before we signed on it, due to the fact that I had previously meant with one of their sales people before. They acted like I was crazy when I told them about the offer I was getting and they slandered other Ford Dealers. The Manager of the show room was very unprofessional and RUDE. Too bad they didn't get the deal!! I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.
