I can not stress enough how horrible an experience it was dealing with these people. My wife purchased a certified pre-owned Tiguan from them around 2019, got the extended warranty and kept up with all ma dealing with these people. My wife purchased a certified pre-owned Tiguan from them around 2019, got the extended warranty and kept up with all maintenance through them (paying a premium instead of going to a third party). Immediately when the warranty expired, a different VW dealership said they found metal in the oil pan, most likely caused by the wrong oil being used. We reached back out to Herzog-Meier for a second opinion and to see if they could help us out since they were the only ones who performed the maintenance. They refused to offer any assistance outside of charging full retail for a new engine. They didn't look at the vehicle or follow through with any other help. I owned an auto shop for several years and have worked with people from all parts of the community to help them financially, when dealerships show they don't care about their customers. And, from my experience, this dealership could care less about its community. More
