My Review Of Heyward Allen Toyota:
I first approached Heyward Allen Toyota by dealing in their Online Sales Department with Rachel Callis. She made the process of negotiating the price and features as smooth as could be. I was in the market for a 2012 Toyota Corolla and she never tried to push other cars on me. We got to talking about the Corolla and immediately she started seeing what kinds of offers she could make, there was none of that "Let me see what my manager can let me do" mentality. I was never kept waiting. Quickly she made me an offer that I couldn't refuse and I picked up the phone to call her. We got the paperwork rolling, and I discussed wanting to add tinting to the car and I was willing to pay for it, and she said without hesitation "Oh, we'll take care of that for you. We have a shop right here that does an excellent job!" She gave me the name of the sales person I would be working with when I came to look over the paperwork as well as his contact information. No pressure, and when you shop with Rachel, you shop with confidence.
The salesperson I encountered when setting foot on the lot was Marcus Craft. One thing about Marcus is he treats you like you're a visitor in his home. His office is your office, and if you ever come back to visit, half the time he's already coming down the hallway to greet you and see how your car is doing before you even get a chance to ask the receptionist for him... and this in my book is a good thing. When I first showed up, Marcus informed me that my car was already in the shop getting cleaned up and it would be out on the lot momentarily. His words exactly: "Before we even talk about the paperwork, I want you to get in the car and test drive it for as long as you like." This sat very well with me. When I got back, I noticed that there were some very light scratches on the rear bumper likely from transit (the car only had 6 miles on it). I talked to Marcus about it and he said "No worries, just bring your car by on Monday and we'll have it all fixed up. If you need a ride to work, we'll happily give you one." After that, we proceeded to work on paperwork, and I went across the hall to speak with the Financial manager. During that time, Marcus was busy on the phone talking to the tint shop seeing when they could get my windows tinted. The great thing was that Marcus was able to get my car in the same day, so I drove it off the lot in "finished" form. All I had to do was drive back on Monday to get the scratches repaired on the bumper and that would be it! My experience on Monday was that of luxury. I dropped the car off, they gave me a ride to work, they gave me a ride back at the end of the day and the bumper looked like it had come straight from the factory! Marcus was there all along the way to answer any questions I had and to make sure the job had been done right. I look forward to dealing with Marcus in the future as I buy more Toyotas!
The Financial Manager I spoke with was John Dispoto. He was very clear on all the paperwork, and there was no haggling as one might expect with the whole mentality of "Well, let's adjust the monthly payments to help you out" when in reality you get a higher APR. John laid it out black and white "Here is your interest rate, Your monthly payment is about $178.76, but lets just knock it down to $178.00 even." All through the process of signing the paperwork, he was courteous enough to explain what each contract meant in Layman's terms. He would also pause to let me read through the papers as much as I wanted to. I had imagined that the financing paperwork would be the most dreadful of the entire process, but in turn, with John its quite painless and you meet a heck of a nice guy in the process!
All of the folks at Heyward Allen Toyota make you feel at home, and their staff are always there to answer questions or take care of any problems you encounter! If you feel that something isn't right, these folks will do all they can to make it right! The customer to them scales far beyond a dollar value, and there's definitely something to be said about that.
