Purchased a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica via the internet, which was marketed with pristine photos. I inquired about what looked to be a long scratch in one area, and the salesman, Bhaskar Subramanian, sent a phone photo stating "no scratch." That was true. What he chose to OMIT were the other dents and scratches two feet away and later said he "didn't notice those." One of which is a full dent with poor attempt at touch up paint, and another door ding only a few inches away from that one. The bumper also has serious paint wear. None of this (or any of the multiple dings) were reflected in any of the photos. I was told to get an estimate for the repairs, then told the cost was too high and the Sales Manager "refuses to make a used car new again." GM Stuart Snyder offered to "send touch up paint" and that was the best he could do. Once these issues came up, all phone communication stopped, despite leaving messages and asking for a call back. Only got a few replies via email, but again, classic xx answers. My father spent 20 years in the auto sales industry and did his utmost to treat customers with integrity and truly give them superior customer service. The sales team and General Manager at Hoblit represent the worst in the industry. More

I bought a used "certified" 2019 Ram Laramie 4X4 1500 I bought a used "certified" 2019 Ram Laramie 4X4 1500 truck from the Hoblit Dodge used car lot on 08/09/2020. The truck had 28,012 miles on it and lo I bought a used "certified" 2019 Ram Laramie 4X4 1500 truck from the Hoblit Dodge used car lot on 08/09/2020. The truck had 28,012 miles on it and looked beautiful. It fit my needs perfectly. I paid $45,750. It was a bit pricey and at the top of my budget, but I was ok with it. I was comfortable knowing that it was a "certified used vehicle" and it was still under manufacturer warranty for many more miles. I also checked the "certified pre-owned maintenance checklist" and Car Fax (showing 1 tire replaced on 5/02/2019). Everything appeared to be in excellentcondition. (I will come back to the 14 points that this truck scored on the "pre-owned check list" for brakes, wheels, and tires in just a moment). 1 1/2 months after my purchase (09/28/2020), I started to feel a shaking in the steering wheel. Felt like a simple wheel balance issue to me. I was not worried given the recorded maintenance checks prior to my purchase. In an effort to fix the wheel balance, I took my truck to Vacaville Dodge, where they balanced the tires and wheels at the mileage of 29,980 (only 1968 miles after my purchase) finding them out of balance. That balance cost me $80, but I thought it would fix the problem. Only after a few miles, I noticed the shaking was back but it was very mild compared to the previous shaking. So I planned to take the truck back into service for a diagnosis at a later date, but it appeared not to be urgent. Turns out, the maintenance diagnosis was not needed after all!!! While washing my truck wheels on 8/08/2021 (Truck now having 37,000 total miles), I looked closely and noticed that the tires on my truck did not match. They were definitely not original tires. A closer inspection found 3 tires with white lettering that was worn off (curb rub damage) and had been reversed with the black walls showing. The other tire was a complete black wall tire without white lettering. The varied tread depths were significant. The black wall tire also had a lower speed and weight rating (111 S) and the others had considerable tire tread wear with completely different speed and weight rating (113 T). As a result, I took the truck to Americas Tire in Vacaville. They inspected the truck tires and quickly determined the tires did not match in quality, speed rating, or weight rating. I chose to replace the tires with a matching set of quality tires, and the shaking completely disappeared. I kept the old tires to show Hoblit staff as proof if they wish to see them. The "pre-inspection check list" I mentioned above for brakes, tires, and wheels indicated that my tires should match and should be OEM-recommended for size-load-capacity to qualify for a "certified vehicle" This was simply not true with this truck. The tire warranty for these mismatched tires are 65,000 miles, and the tread on these tires appears to only have about 10,000 miles remaining. The only logical definite conclusion that can be made is that the original tires that came with my truck were not on the vehicle when I purchased the truck from Hoblit. They had been clearly replaced with very substandard worn tires sometime prior to my purchase. Given such a blatant situation, lack of truth, poor maintenance "certified pre-owned inspection" quality, and lack of safety concern makes me question the honesty of the Hoblit dealership. I will think twice before ever doing business with Hoblit, and I will not recommend ever doing business with them, especially to my family, work associates, and personal friends. I am very relieved that I discovered these safety concerns and issues prior to anything happening. I hope the Vice President Chad Hoblit, Sales Manager Scott Lucchesi, Used Car Manager Chad Andino, Shop Foremen Salvador Godinez, and my Salesman Jeff Ferraiuolo all get a chance to see this review. But ironically enough, it is because my observations of Hoblit sales over the last few months and my interactions with Andrew were SO "5-star" that I expected a 5-star deal! Hoblit set the "customer service" and "previous sales" bar so high, that when it ultimately came time for us to purchase our Pacifica, we were shocked out of our socks that we were not getting the best deal in town! Factually, Hoblit HAD the best deals around on the Pacifica Hybrids from about November 2020 until February 2021. Factually, the Pacifica Hybrid we were desiring to purchase does not come equipped with a $795 appearance package and is currently discounted $2,250. Factually, a leading competitor has discounted the same vehicle $4,500 but that vehicle comes equipped with the $795 appearance package. Purchasing the vehicle from the leading competitor, rather than Hoblit, would provide a net value of $3,045 ($2,250 price savings and $795 appearance package). I offered to come up $1,000 over our budgeted purchase price to make the deal happen (primarily because we wanted Andrew to get the sale!), but Hoblit was unwilling to match the leading competitor's deal (currently a $3,045 value). Hoblit mentioned that the business model of the leading competitor was volume-based and I can appreciate that Hoblit wants to maximize profits and minimize losses. I too wish we could have made the deal work, and I could not have hoped for a more pleasant disagreement on price. I certainly plan on including Hoblit on our shortlist the next time we are in the market :-) Original Review: I did not end up purchasing our Pacifica Hybrid from Hoblit, but I appreciated the customer service I received. Andrew is an amazing salesman who genuinely cared for and tried to help us purchase our minivan. Stu was kind and clear, and I really appreciated his honesty. I found Hoblit while searching for good deals on Pacifica Hybrids. Despite having amazing prices in the recent past, they now appear to be priced a couple thousand above leading competitors. Fact of the matter is, they didn't want to budge on price though they certainly had the wiggle room to. To boot, I spent a considerable amount of time working to help get Hoblit enrolled into a governmental program that will help bring them more business (and help low-income families like ours purchase vehicles), but that did not appear to matter to them. If you don't mind spending an extra couple thousand on a vehicle, I suppose this would be a good place to buy from. But if it's not in your budget, you might be better served at Elk Grove Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram. That's where I'm headed (Yelp review to follow)! More

They were able to get our price down to what I needed but then added on GAP, Anti-theft and additio but an amazing experience with Andrew last night. The best buying experience I have ever had. Even with my 3 littles running around we were in and out in 2 hrs. We drove an hr to see them because no one else had Chrysler Pacificas and I am so glad I did! More

I've been trying to buy a truck you have in stock since Thanksgiving day. I wanted the Black Friday Deal, but took 2 days to even get any kind of response from this dealership. I emailed multiple times, and had a few different chats over the past few days. Today being the last day of the deal, I finally got someone. I'm 2 hrs away, so wanted everything in place before I drove down and even test drove the truck. Took a bit to even get a call back after I submitted the finance portion online. My interest rate would be very high, and I can't get the full rebate offered on their site. It's only an additional $500 and I would have just refinanced. I did also asked them if I could get the steps removed, and drop the price a bit, since I need the clearance and didn't like the steps on the truck. The response was that it would actually cost more to remove. I would have been fine, with just a simple "no", rather than telling me it would cost more. The lack of salesmanship is astounding. If I hadn't had all the other issues, I would have purchased regardless. Essentially, I've tried to force your dealership to sell me a truck, rather than Hoblit Dodge ACTUALLY do the selling. I've purchased 2 other vehicles this year alone and went well. Those dealerships actually wanted to sell a vehicle to me. Now I'm without a new truck, halfway through the day where the Black Friday deals end.......2 hrs to get there, and am just done with trying to buy now. "No Hassle, No Pressure" is not the right slogan for Hoblit Dodge. Huge Hassle, and no return contact is what I've seen. After reading other reviews, I'm not surprised. Looks like they refuse to negotiate, take it or leave it attitude, and the Manager just doesn't care. Curious if the owner cares that his dealership is losing money because of poor customer service.
