My Review of Honda East:
Be wary of doing business here. I had an email interaction with a salesman who negotiated a sale price of $12000 (plus tax) on a basic Honda Accord that was listed on their site as preowned certified for $13005. When I inquired about certified he said that it wasn't and that it would be an additional $275 and tax to get that done. I drove from Troy, Ohio to Cincinnati, test drove the vehicle, and decided to buy it. Then came the haggling over the warranty that they now wanted over $1500 for (the same certified warranty). When I discussed my email with "Chad", he had apparently left the prior day for an insurance job. "Nick", the salesman I dealt with that day, and "Billy" the sales manager, wouldn't budge and didn't know about the email (have copies I could forward anyone interested). The honda that was going to cost approx. $13500 was now over $14500. My wife and I left it at that... there were better deals closer to home. Don't get roped in.

My Review of Honda East:
I had my Prelude in for service at least 6 times but the starting issue was never fixed. During each visit, I was charged for a new replacement part and only on the last visit did they mention they couldn't fix the problem themselves. I saved myself several hundred more dollars in parts and labor by never letting Honda East touch my car again.

My Review of Honda East:
Found a great used Acura, but could not agree on price. Returned home to Cleveland, but received a phone call from "Jason" a few days later. We reviewed the price I was willing to pay, but he said he would only be making $130 off the car, so we still couldn't reach a deal. I said thank you, but I had to stick to my budget. I hung up and less than 5 minutes later Jason called back and they had "re-evaluated my trade" and would give me the price I was willing to pay. I was ecstatic and mentioned again that I was in Cleveland and would be down in two days. He said that was not a problem and that he would honor the deal when I got there and gave me his cell phone number. There was no mention of a deposit or that I needed to put any money down. I took a half day off of work and on my drive down called Jason to make sure the car was ready. He acted annoyed when I called and said that "we sold the car yesterday". I was in shock and thought he was joking. He said "no we sold it yesterday". No apology, no explaination, just down right rude and clearly not concerned with customer service. When the shock wore off, called back and he said "well you didn't have a deposit"... well if I KNEW I needed one, I would have gladly put money down. Overall I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Honda East and DEFINITELY would not recommend this dealership and especially Jason.

My Review of Honda East:
Needed new wheel bearings and oxygen sensor replaced. Dealership had to order these parts. Dropped the car at the time we agreed on, service advisor called later in the day to say that the oxygen sensor has not arrived and I would need to come again in a few days. Picked up the car, it makes a wailing noise on the front right wheel. Brought it back the next day, test drove with the tech, he said "bad wheel bearing, or incorrectly installed". The wheel bearing replacement was supposed to be $440, girl who charged my credit card said $440, got home, the bill was $526. They have charged me for the oxygen failure diagnostic, which they said would do for free "as a courtesy". Now my wheel bearing repair is a "priority 3" and will take days to be fixed (IF they get it right). After going there for 8 years for service, they still have my wrong work number from a job I had 7 years ago, although I give them the correct number every time I go there. My car has only 60k miles, and this was the first repair I needed done. Big dissapointment. Horrible experience, not recommended.

My Review of Honda East:
I had a great experience at Honda East. Before going to Homda east, I had visited spoken to a number of Honda dealers in Cincinnati area. I had walked out of one dealership in disgust because I was treated so badly. Honda East was a pleasent surprise. Our salesperson gave us a great deal, was polite, had a very extensive knowledge of the car, was NEVER pushy and worked with us pateintly till we got what we wanted in the car. We walked in the dealership and walked out with a car in 2 hrs flat!! Will highly recommend to other people!
