Pushy salesman that gave me attitude on the phone. They seemed to not readily know what vehicles they had in inventory or on order,and wanted to get us there do show us things we didn't want.

Service could not have been better. Shawn had me in at the time I requested and with the write up guy meeting me at the door, we were ready to move right on to the customer rest area, for coffee and daily paper. Very pleasent experance, and the car was washed and ready well within time frame.

My Review of Honda of Salem:
I just picked up my new CR-V a three days ago and am thrilled with it! Jim Mally was our salesman and he took very good care of us explaining all the details of our new car. I appreciate the time he took and also how he kept us in the loop until our car arrived. This is our first brand new car in many years and we are looking forward to lots of fun adventures in our new Honda!

All of the staff that my husband and I worked with at Salem Honda was exceptional! They went above and beyond to explain everything each step of the way. It was our first time buying since we have been married and we both felt very confident that they were extremely fair. They walked us through each step of the process. No one was pushy or overbearing. I have already told our friends about the service we received.

I contacted this dealer as they were on "true car". What a wonderful experience. Brandon was very professional and even drove my new Accord to me. I have already recommended him to at least 5 people and I just got the car a few days ago.

My Review of Honda of Salem:
Ugh. Contacted the dealership to learn more about their Odyssey. We wanted to test drive the car, so I got a phone call from the Internet dealer who arranged for us to come in that morning for a test drive. Unfortunately, they had only 2 on the lot. And they had just arrived that holiday morning. So the guy we were to meet didn't have the keys and pretty much couldn't get the keys. We left thinking that they should have given us more information before we made the trek to the lot. Frustrating. A little more openness and forthrightness would have been appreciated.

It was my one and only trip to the lot. Won't ever return.


-----------------Addendum--------------------

Since posting my review, I have been contacted by one of the local managers. I was pleased that he took the time to listen to my experience and sincerely apologized for all that happened. I *can* understand that it was Labor Day weekend, so things weren't exactly normal for them, and poor Jeremy was flustered by the whole situation (keys were locked in Service). So perhaps it was more an accumulation of unusual events that led to a poor experience on my part. Probably under different circumstances, things would be much different. Upon this reflection and the personal attention given to me by the manager, I've amended my rating. Probably my experience was a freak experience, and even at that, I've received the personal attention of the manager and a sincere apology along with their utmost desire to make things right. They've shown me that their customers do matter to them.

My Review of Honda of Salem:
I made arrangements to purchase a used PU from the other side of the state of Oregon. The dealership was very accomodating in sending me photos and allowing me to arrange a local contact to test drive. They made me a good deal and the paperwork was ready for us when we arrived. The whole process was pleasant and straigt forward. I did not meet Lawrence Ferguson in person but enjoyed talking to him over the phone and felt he was sincere and honest.

My Review of Honda of Salem:
We visited the service department twice in the last month. the first was an annual service of all systems and the second was to replace a broken cup holder. The first visit was very good and the final cost was less than the estimated one. We were also issued a great "loaner car" to use while work was being completed. They even washed our car, inside and out, which was very appreciated. The second visit was for them to replace a broken cup holder, the service time and the cost were both less than estimated. This dealership has it figured out and treats their costumers with respect and outstanding service. Thank, Brad & Karen
