I provided my information to be used to prepare the contracts and informed my salesman that I would show up at the dealership at an agreed upon time to sign the papers and pay for the car. Low and behold, on my way to the dealership, not 5 minutes away and due to arrive earlier than I had indicated, I get a text from my salesman stating that the car has just been sold. He informed me since I hadn’t paid for the car or signed the contract the GM let another salesman sell the car. Now this is their right but we had an approved price and had the contracts filled out waiting for me to arrive to sign them. How ethical is it to sell it out from under someone that the car was promised to. I can understand if I said I’d show up at a certain time and never showed up but this was not the case. I’d recommend anyone that reads this look elsewhere for a car. This place has zero business ethics. More
