My car was sent to Howard Orloff for repair of brake system. At the time the car was taken in there was a crack on the right side front headlight but the headlight was working properly.only had a crack system. At Howard Orloff I don’t know what they did to it but I winded up having to replace the light at over 800.00 dollars. They must have done something to the light to cause it to fail as it was working properly. I no longer trust Howard Orloff to repair my car. Seems they make up stuff to run up the bill. I hope never to go back to Howard Orloff More
Went in for diagnostic. First observation is there are no women working the service repair desks at Orloff Volvo Chicago. Secondly, they charge you for things you don’t need on your car and perform them befo women working the service repair desks at Orloff Volvo Chicago. Secondly, they charge you for things you don’t need on your car and perform them before the diagnostic results come back, and charge you for them. The repairs you do have done are done incorrectly, causing you other engine problems with your vehicle. In the process, breaking other parts off your vehicle in addition to the new problems that have been created by their incompetent mechanics. Then, when you discover there are things very wrong with your Volvo after you’ve shelled out thousands, the service desk chauvinistic men working there, especially the unprofessional John, will be hostile and dismissive on the phone then openly and loudly talk about you and disparage you to the other coworkers while you are back there again sitting it their waiting room about twenty feet from his big fat mouth. This is after you are there for the third time and second time for the same replacement part after their mechanic broke it off your car then installs the part upside down. That’s right, their mechanics install brand new parts upside down (YouTube guys for some pointers?). Because you are a female customer and you were right, service desk stand-in John comes back from another snack to make sure to loudly belittle you by letting all at the dealership service department desks (including customers that just happen to be there) know that he can’t believe “she” was right and how could that possibly be. If there is a general manager of this Volvo, I guarantee that old man Orloff can hear me now and being a man who rose up to build and create this business with a disability, is not pleased with how far down the scale his dealership has sunk in terms of service. On 04/01/21, Howard Orloff Landover Chicago performed some work on my 2020 Range Rover. About 07/05/21 the car started making some loud noise. No available appointments until 07/21/21. The car noise got louder and the car was towed 07/09/21 to them. Lisa, service advisor called to relate the caliper bolts were missing /gone. Thus, the caliper cut into the rim and the rim had to be replaced with a cost of 1523 that landrover was NOT going to pay because according to them someone (maybe a ghost) had worked on that car. NEEDLESS to say they were/have been the only people who have worked on my car since I bought it. I talked the Craig Urban, service manager. When I tried to explain to him David Orloff Landover Chicago is the ONLY dealer that has worked on my car, he became very defensive and called me a liar. When I called him an xxxxxxx he got offended and told me I needed to pick up my car that day because they will not service my car and that he wanted the car off off his lot that day. So, he can be disrespectful and call people names but we (customers) cant ? I talked to David Orloff, VP at David Orloff Landrover Chicago. When I started presenting information like the CARFAX that shows they've been the only dealer that has worked on my car and challenged that someone else had worked on this car, he stated to get my car off his lot that day. Who do David Orloff and Greg Urban think they are? How dare we confront them on their xx. I guess we suppose to surrender, be submissive, and accept the lies they tell us and swallow their disrespect ? Otherwise, they throw a tantrum and opt not to service a client's car because we had a disagreement. This is the type of people, you (the reader) wants to make business with? Reminder, they were the only people who have worked on my car but I guess if they say they were at fault now they become liable. So they going to play crazy and denied they did anything wrong despite being the only dealer that has worked in my car. They even suggested, the crazy idea that I have had the brakes changed in less than 3000 miles by someone else because they brakes look brand new. Again, ask yourself if this is the team you want on your side when you buy a 100K car and they tell you the warranty does not cover it because we believe a ghost did some work on your car. Thus, it is not covered and I demand you to take your car off my lot the same day because you (the customer) called me on my xx. Remember when you buy a car they tell you everything is covered and possible. After you are out of their lot, they treat you like garbage like David Orloff and Greg Urban did to me. Next time, go elsewhere because they will sell you a fantasy that will turn into xxxx when they make a mistake and you bring it to their attention. More

However, I felt like I was rewarding bad behavior by buying vehicles from them and repeatedly having problems with the service department. In the dozens of times I took my vehicles there- they would always return dirtier than when I brought them in. It’s a disappointment as the vehicle’s themselves were great. More

Left front tire was sitting on curb after keys were given. 4. Manager attitudinal, wasn't receptive, maybe my cologne or dark skin. 5. Reception clerk " 5 stars ". Over all "for me" I wouldn't waste my time rating my service that day. And that's the story of my experience and I'm sticking to it. More

Worst Dealership! Do NOT visit this dealership for any servicing. My Jaguar was in perfect condition and I took it to Howard Orloff for a brake change and they screwed Do NOT visit this dealership for any servicing. My Jaguar was in perfect condition and I took it to Howard Orloff for a brake change and they screwed up my entire engine! This has been a nightmare, I have had to replace an entire ENGINE! All I wanted was new brakes and they gave me the car with the check engine light on and refused to take it back the same day to check the issue. When they did take it back they said it was a pipe issue that they supposedly resolved. I believed these liars and picked up the car and drove it only to have an overheating engine and needing to tow the vehicle. I gave them anther chance to fix their mistake and you guessed it they told me the issue was all fixed again and I drove it and had once again the engine overheated. Absolutely ridiculous!! At this point I knew not to trust this dealership and I took it to another Jaguar dealership which told me that the entire engine needed to be replaced! The question now is how do you go from a routine brake change to a dealership destroying your car's engine! More

I had what seemed like a very minor condition materialize with my Jaguar the night before I had a very long drive for a client meeting. Akrim's care revealed an unrelated but extremely dangerous condition with one of my tyres. He insisted I leave the vehicle as he did not think it was safe for me. I would never have noticed this condition on my own. I had no reason to check. Without Akrim's genuine concern for me personally, my long drive could have ended very badly. Instead, I was driving a very nice and very safe vehicle provided for me as a courtesy at Akrim's insistence. Akrim and everyone at Howard Orloff, you've been great to me for 26 years!!!!
