Met my expectations and then exceeded them I came in looking for a car that's great on gas and low payments. I didn't want brand new because I thought I couldn't afford it. First time buyer Took my grandson (first time buyer from Jacksonville, FL) on January 28, 2014 to Toyota of Albany. A deal was accepted by both parties for out the door price excepted for a ding on windshield. The sales manager explained he had cut the deal to close to replace the windshield and that would be our responsibility. When we closed I explained that I had to move some money to pay cash or could use a credit card and he excepted the credit card which was fine with me but not what we originally discussed. My grandson was given a 30 day temporary tag and told that he could go to the DMV in Jacksonville and get the permanent tag and all fees would be paid by Toyota of Albany except for about $20.00. Ten (10) days before the expiration on 2/24/2014 the DMV had no record of the paperwork. We contacted Michelle with Toyota of Albany and she stated the paper work had been mailed 2 day delivery with the US Post Office. Got tracking number and found that it was not mailed until 2/21/2014 and was not located in Jacksonville City Hall till 2/27/2014, then not received at the local DMV till 3/3/2014. My grandson then had to pay a additional $442.27 dollars in fees to get the tag which were paid to Toyota of Albany. Contacted Michelle on 3/19/2014 with Toyota of Albany and she said she overlooked the $400.00 and would mail a check for $382.00 to my grandson at the end of the month, which was $18.00 less than the tag, title and fees he paid. This was not a very good experience for my grandson and a first time buyer and therefore would not recommend this dealer and this was not the salespersons fault but upper management.. More

I arrived on a Thursday looking for a car and I was greeted with a friendly and extremely helpful sales associate, Robert Rumble. We went into the dealership to possibly find a new 2013 Toyota Highlander. Roy was very friendly and showed us the one they had, but we did not want AWD. Roy took us for a ride in the vehicle and was very knowledgable. Mike worked with me during the evening and we were able to negotiate what I thought was a good fair deal. He also offered us some good extra service. I enjoyed talking to Robert David also. He was very good about trying to keep it simple. Everyone we dealt with at Toyota of Albany was so very friendly and we are thankful for the experience we had in meeting them all and in dealing with them. More

This was a lot better place to buy a car compared to a year ago. I'm so glad that Toyota of Albany revamped their staff there.
