I purchased the car elsewhere so I cant comment on the Sales department. But the service and service department is a piece of work. Im sure the service workers have a difficult enough job, but getting t Sales department. But the service and service department is a piece of work. Im sure the service workers have a difficult enough job, but getting things fixed efficiently and with any sort of quality will not happen here. Wish they could get it together. I will never work with Worden Martin again because of the previous two experiences here. I even have a full fledged gold preferred warranty (the best you can purchase through nissan)and cant get a rental car paid for or have of my things paid for because they are arguing fault all the time. I went to this dealership as part of a promotional radio special for single moms on July 9th, 2011 where they were giving car washes and oil changes to single mom's who submitted a registration. They listed special for single moms on July 9th, 2011 where they were giving car washes and oil changes to single mom's who submitted a registration. They listed the area dealerships that were involved and as I am a second time Nissan owner I chose the one in Savoy. One of the services they were doing was checking and adding air to the tires. Upon examination of my front tires they determined them unsafe for driving and they placed 2 new tires on the front of my vehicle at no cost to me. I was very surprised at this and words cannot express my gratitude. I have had nothing but good experiences with my Nissan's and the dealerships that I have went to but I am really impressed with the dealership in Savoy. I am in the market for a new vehicle and of course I am considering a Nissan, and while this dealership is an hour away it would be worth the drive for the kind of service they provide. While I know that they cannot be in business long if you do not charge your customers, it was refreshing that at least in this instance their concern was for my safety rather than losing any money on their part. I rated them based on the professionalism and care that they provided me and my car as a customer. You just don't see a lot of that these days. Thank you! More
Due to a brake line failure I pulled my truck into the closest repair shop instead of risking damage or injury to someone else. This dealership quoted me a price of over $300 to replace just the front lin closest repair shop instead of risking damage or injury to someone else. This dealership quoted me a price of over $300 to replace just the front lines. Sounds a little high to me but worth it because i won't have to get my vehicle towed. After a few hours they called me to tell me the brake block was cracked. This part was not leaking when I took it to service nor were they able to show me a crack when I asked to see the part. They then insisted that the part could not be put back on the vehicle and that had to order the part. Unfortunately I agreed before talking to a different mecanic. The next day I was told the part would not be in for a few days because it was coming from Canada. I called 3 parts dealers in the area and all if them had the part on hand. The dealership refused to let the part come from anyone else. The charges for the additional parts and labor jumped the price to well over $500. Three separate mechanics have now told me that any damage to the brake block was most likely caused by the person doing the work or a heavy accident. My vehicle has never been wrecked or even put in a ditch. Therefore not caused by me. They had my vehicle for four days before they notified me it was fixed, but now the front brakes are dragging, a problem that did not exist before the service and they want to fix it jumping the total price to $900. I have of course refused any further service as my minor problem has become a huge headache. I don't care that the cost is higher here than at a brake specialist. My frustration stems from the length of time taken so solve a relatively simple problem. Since my original post Illini Nissan has fixed all new problems with my brake system at no additional charge to me. The quality of work is good and there are no problems that I could find. Hank and the service manager ensured the vehicle was repaired in a reasonable amount of time. My original scores for this dealership were very low but they have performed well in fixing their mistakes. I have adjusted the scores to reflect this better performance and anticipate they will continue to perform well for their customers. More
I have been to this dealer three times for service and every time my typically very high expectations have been not only met but exceeded by Gary and his technical staff. The staff is very friendly going every time my typically very high expectations have been not only met but exceeded by Gary and his technical staff. The staff is very friendly going above and beyond to check things out for me, at times not even charging me for their time or knowledge. I will always return to this dealer for service dealing with Gary specifically. I would also recommend this dealer to anyone that needs good old-fashioned honest service that is completed in a timely manner. More
