The salesman, Manny Figueroa, was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and most of all, straight forward. I downgraded the overall Experience because of the usual hocus pocus with the closer. "Special deal on my trade-in" only available if you buy today. Well, I guess it wasn't hocus-pocus because that deal was no longer available when I finally bought my car a week or two later. In fat my old car had suddenly become undesirable. Also he could only come down a couple of hundred dollars on his "final" price, not nearly matching the deal I had through a USAA negotiated price with another dealer. I probably would have bothered to drive the 34 miles to the other dealer to see what they would give me on my trade-in if it hadn't have been for Manny. He was such a pleasure to deal with I wanted to give him the business. The finance guy was also knowledgeable and explained the various warranty and service options. He took no thank you for an answer, without resorting to a hard sell, though trying to be sure my partner and I understood the pros and cons and leaving me with literature in case we changed our minds. I had such a great buying experience w/ Emmanual Figueroa at IRA Subaru in Danvers Massachusetts in February of 2008 that went back 9 months later and I bought my 2nd new Subaru from him in October 2008. The entire sale and purchase process was fine - I've been driving the subaru Forester for 8 yrs, so I already knew and liked the vehicle. They also seemed to genuinely enjoy working there; the atmosphere was collegial, not competitive. Andy Dole, the salesman, was efficient and especially kind. When the DMV failed to register the car by end-of-day Friday and I was left without transportation, he offered to chauffeur me over the weekend and even cancelled another commitment to take me grocery shopping that day. He also called me first thing Monday morning to reassure me he was following up with the DMV. I never expected such chivalry from a car salesman. I would definitely do business with him and his dealership again, and I enthusiastically recommend them to others. More

This was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had! Manny was wonderful to work with. He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We began researching cars back in the summer and went to 2 Toyota dealerships, 1 Honda, 1 Nissan, and another Subaru dealer. The salesmen and atmosphere in those places did not give us a good feeling. Some were very pushy. We were so happy to find Ira Subaru and Manny because we immediately felt like we were in the right place. On the test drive, Manny answered every question we had about the car we were interested in, the Subaru Outback. When we told him we were not ready to buy, he was fine with that. We were so impressed with Manny that we knew we would want to deal with him when we felt ready to proceed. We stayed in touch occasionally by phone. When we were ready, we called him and he got us a good deal on a lease. We are extremely happy with the car. I love the all wheel drive. It has been great in the snow! We will definitely return to this dealership and Manny in the future! More
