Will NEVER take a car here for service On Aug. 12, we took our 1994 Nissan Sentra (still less than 90k miles) in for overall service, prior to driving it to the West Coast. One of the findi On Aug. 12, we took our 1994 Nissan Sentra (still less than 90k miles) in for overall service, prior to driving it to the West Coast. One of the findings was that there was a minor radiator leak and they recommended replacing the radiator; when I asked how much $ and if it needed immediate attention, I was told it was not urgent and could wait if I wanted. We then started our drive and got as far as Kansas City; while visiting there, we saw steam coming from under the hood. We put in water and StopLeak and had it towed to a local dealer the next morning. The car was dead - no pressure in 1 of the cylinders and cost to replace the engine would be 5-6x value of the car. So - my car died about 24 hours after these guys told my wife it was ready for a cross-country road trip. When I trust that somebody knows more about your car than you do and then this happens, I can never trust them again. Nissan makes good cars, but I'll NEVER trust this dealer's service ever again, and i would recommend friends take their cars to one of the many other service centers. More
