My Review of Jim Burke Nissan:
Horrible experience when trying to close a deal on a new 09 Altima. Least friendly salesperson and extremely rude and un polite. I had asked for a good price so that I wont have to bargain much and he was fixed with the MSRP! WHO WILL BUY AT MSRP ? I asked if we can work / negotiate on the price: and the look/glance the sales person gave at me and with his tone of speaking: I did not waste even a single minute more and walked out of the dealership.
I have visited other dealerships and could very well see the difference. When the other dealerships were working hard to earn the business and sell a vehicle in this struggling economy, Jim Burke sales person was more incline in trying to get rid of its customer.
I had a horrible experience and would NOT recommend anyone further to buy from them. Go to the other dealerships and you will get a better deal and definitely more warmth and better friendly service.

My Review of Jim Burke Nissan:
Saw ad in paper called got the manager he invited me in and I picked out a car that was the advertised special and within 45 minutes was leaving in my brand new car. Was quite a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend Jim Burke Nissan and especially Patrick

My Review of Jim Burke Nissan:
Pros: The cars themselves are a pleasure to own and drive
Cons: Avoid this service center like the plague- failed commitments after 3 strikes.

Strike 1: May 07

Had car in for 30k mile servicing. After 2 days, received car back with flat tire at 5PM on Friday- advised simply needed air. While driving home had to reinflate tire 3 times. Dealership ended up having to replace tire- they did honor screw-up and remedy issue, but to return a car with a flat after performing 30k mile inspection???

Strike 2: January 08

Driver side headrest needing to be replaced- done by Burke.
Month later when using headrest, determined dealership installed manual adjustment headrest instead of electronically operated type. Also damaged motor components to operate headrest.
Parts ordered and replaced under warranty by alternate dealership during incident 3 below.

Interesting side note- while at Burke was advised by service center if gave good review of service when headrest was replaced, would receive free oil change at 40k servicing.

Strike 3: September 08

While at alternate dealership, also determine driver side seat rear access panel was damaged by Burke service center and glued back in place to disguise damage. Advised to return to Burke to allow them to rectify damages as not warranted damages and new seat back would need to be purchased (~$900). Burke advised would order in new access panel and replace at no charge. Called to confirm parts were ordered and came in for service. Instead, dealership only reglued old part in place and had not ordered anything.

Month later, still waiting to receive parts from dealership to have repair performed at alternate dealership.

The vehicle itself has been a pleasure to own and drive.

The service at this dealership is pathetic and after multiple opportunities to redeem themselves have utterly failed to do so. Management staff claim to honor agreements and expedite parts for servicing, yet actions prove otherwise.

Will refuse to return to dealership for any servicing for remainder of car ownership.

My Review of Jim Burke Nissan:
This dealership advertized Nissan's Sales Event in the "Birmingham News on April 30th. They advertized Nissan Sentra for 11,953.00 after $2,500.00 dollars down. I called to inquire about this car and asking if this was a lease or actual buy. The sales person said this was an actual buy, I told the person I was interested and would be down to see the car. At time the sales people said, "That car was sold, but they more inventory!" I asked, "if they could place me in a Sentra for the advertised price!" They said, they couldn't.

I inquired about the Nissan Versa for $9521, and the Maxima for $21,636. Amazingly these cars were sold also. I called at 10 am on the 30th. So my question to Jim Burke Nissan, Is this bait and switch or false advertizing?

Sincerely
J Morris
