Not a good experience Let me start by saying that I have been singing John Eagle Acura's praises for years! I owned an MDX several years ago and had the best experience wit Let me start by saying that I have been singing John Eagle Acura's praises for years! I owned an MDX several years ago and had the best experience with this dealership. When it came time to buy a new (used) car I was over the moon happy to find one here at John Eagle that I liked. There were other vehicles closer to home that I was interested in, but since they were at smaller "mom & pop" type dealerships I decided to make the drive out to John Eagle, and purchase the MDX there. The day I test drove the vehicle I noticed a crack in the windshield, the star kind. I asked my salesperson "Yaya" if that's something they would take care of if I purchased the vehicle and she said yes of course....she went so far as to say that they would do a full detail before I took the vehicle, and make a service appointment for me to come back and get the windshield taken care of and some of the scratches buffed out. I was slightly annoyed when I texted Yaya later about setting that up, and she informed me that they would not do it after all. That's not what ruined John Eagle Acura for me though. It has been 10 days since I bought my MDX. The vehicle completely stalled out on me last night. I took the battery to the auto parts store to have it tested and it was fine. They charged it up and I took it home and put it in the MDX, drove it to the auto parts store and had them test the alternator. FAILED. MY VEHICLE THAT I'VE HAD FOR 10 DAYS NEEDS A NEW ALTERNATOR :(:( Of course I called John Eagle right away, hoping that they would be able to take care of it, considering again I've only had it for 10 days. The used car sales manager that I spoke to, TJ I believe, informed me that there is nothing they could (WOULD) do. I'm out of luck. Here I am, 5 months pregnant, in the heat of Houston summer, with no vehicle. I really expected more from this dealership. I understand that I purchased a used vehicle, but I also made a conscious choice to purchase the vehicle from what I thought was a respectable dealership. Lesson learned. Next time I may go to that mom & pop shop, where PEOPLE still matter. More

Sohn Eagle Poor Service The service at John Eagle refused to do work under warranty blaming me for having caused the issue. The clips fastening the bumper to the quarter pan The service at John Eagle refused to do work under warranty blaming me for having caused the issue. The clips fastening the bumper to the quarter panel had come off but John Eagle service person said that this was caused by a scrape on the other side. He refused to cover the clips under warranty even though the work was originally performed by John Eagle collision (no longer in business). He even stated that the damage could have happened by bumping the car with your hip. I had brought the car in for examination the Saturday before and Mr. Spencer (manager) agreed to have me bring the car and they would fix it under warranty and give me a loaner (I assume that this great service approach was due to having bought the Acura RDX originally from John Eagle). When I arrived as instructed suddenly no. I would be charged to fix it and Mr. Spencer is no where around to intervene. I left without any work being performed as I feel like I was a victim of bait and switch. Having been accused of not taking care of my car when I do bring it in for service (implying that only John Eagle Service knows best), being overcharged for services when I do let them do service (charged twice for transmission service and I still have a jerky transmission), I cannot recommend john Eagle service and feel that buying an Acura anywhere else would be the smart thing for Acura fans. I have owned 3 Hondas and 2 Acuras (NSX and RDX). but now feel I must consider other cars considering the shoddy service of John Eagle,. More
