From Angry to Very Happy I'm not going to lie, when I got the letter about buying my previous Elantra and moving me into something different I was angry, and I called and let I'm not going to lie, when I got the letter about buying my previous Elantra and moving me into something different I was angry, and I called and let the manager's name on the letter know about it. I 'thought' I knew my credit score but he was convinced he could do something about it. Reluctantly I agreed to come in to see what they could do. I was met by Dale Walton once I parked with letter in hand and told him what I was interested in. I've always wanted a Sonata. I love the space they provide along with their fuel efficiency and total miles one can drive. I was stunned when Dale presented me the offer sheet. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to see the numbers he was providing me. I figured the best that would happen was they run the credit realize it wouldn't be possible and I'd thank them for being upfront about it. I went back to work that Monday afternoon expecting to be heartbroken by 5 pm. About 4:30 I got a text message stating the deal was done and with add ons (WRAP and GAP coverage) it was still within my budget. Furthermore my credit score was nearly 40 points higher than I was expecting. The finance department did everything within their power to get me the best possible rate and got me a rate that was half the rate of my previous car. These guys had no right to treat me the way they did after the riot act I gave them over the phone. However I will be forever grateful to them for listening to all my concerns, and getting me the best deal I've ever had in getting a car. I won't be getting rid of this Sonata anytime soon so I know where I"ll be getting my maintenance done on it. However, whenever I do run my Sonata past the point of no return and I have to get a new car I know I have found a dealership I can go to that will listen. More
